Just seen some of those comments and they are laughable but typical of the Facebook crowd. I.e the type of people who’ve never heard of Tate or even Workington. Connor Mountain is a run of the mill 5 point Championship rider at 26 years old and they’ve just signed an 18 year old who’s already achieved a higher average than Connor ever has, who cares about nationality. Top level professional sport should be cut throat and I applaud the BV promotion for the change.6 points

I've not read all the comments but surely the simplest thing to do is 2 home and 2 away no mickey mouse cup comps regular fixtures or am I missing something6 points

It’s clearly just very convenient to exclude the guy who’s now out of the meeting rather than the one who momentarily loses control, makes contact with another rider pushing them into the fence. Decision is a joke6 points

Average meeting by Ashfield standards, and now onto another 3 week break before the next home meeting. You can understand why people may get out the habit with the lack of continuity.6 points

Useless TV direction/camerawork from Discovery yet again, how hard can it be?5 points

Whoever thought this seasons format was a good idea needs hunted . The whole structure of fixtures or lack off is a shambles. I nominate your good self to oversee fixture planning next season as the trained chimpanzee who oversaw this season’s has made a James Hunt of it.4 points

Congratulations to Freddie, worked damn for that, job done again for zmarzlik3 points

Always sad to see a rider lose his place, but I can't believe any Aces fans didn't see this coming, Connor has declined recently and a change was needed.3 points

Tough on Tai after his first race win, best wishes to him on a speedy recovery.3 points

It is and add in the watering down the product points limit they seem to be trying there best to pi$$ as many people off as possible. Now I may be wrong but I always thought that you offer a product that entices your paying customers to attend regularly , currently the lack off regular meetings alongside a lesser quality league structure is not exactly good business sense , this lies firmly at the door of the BSPL and the promotions must be questioning their decision making.3 points

Which is followed by 3 home meetings then another 3 week break. Think I'd rather we ran all our fixtures and the season finished in July or early August when the weather is at its best than drag out this nonsense and suffer rain offs, slick tracks and poor racing in Sep/Oct. There is also freezing your nuts off for 2 hours on the terracing, not that the customer experience is ever a factor.3 points

Can't understand that decision, Kemp did his job at 6 for Leicester (4 points average) but now he'll have to ride in the top 5 at Oxford! I make that 3 times Oxford have de-strengthend this year Riss for Klindt Kerr for Cook Kemp for Kerr For a team well under the limit, baffles me. Maybe they don't want to make the play-offs due to lack of dates?3 points

You have to turn left at all tracks and if your fully conversant with scunny it's shaped Like a D so on the back straight your wheel are never in line. To me it was a hard but fair race until rider looks at you as he comes under you and runs you up to the fence . Then starts throwing punches after and is fined by the ref . No hard feelings on our part but the big Baldy bloke and the Weasley mechanic need to look at themselves3 points

When Buster went on the mic at Peterborough and told the fans NOT to protest or object to AEPG was for most fans seemed he sided with AEPG. So the question gets asked why? People will assume / come to there own conclusions whether correctly or not.2 points

Some brilliant moves on track from the main men.Track prep wasn’t good but the real racers just got on with it.2 points

You mean "most" still moan... Too much in Poland... Crap tracks... No opposition for Zmarzlik... Crap racing... Phil Morris show... Crap camera work... We need World Finals back... Blah, blah, blah...2 points

Think about it... Everyone complains that Tai doesn't want to "mix it" these days. Over the last three or four years, nearly every time he has looked good, and nearly every time he has tried to mix it, he has been in the wrong place at the wrong time, and has ended up getting crocked.2 points

Neither are the answer, Kerr is not fit, nor MPT. Also MPT has had too many chances, enough is enough. Please show some ambition KL, not back to the old guard that have failed2 points

Probably moved Mountain on to free some points up to bin Kurtz and his protective boot off2 points

Thought the issue Skywalker Luke (not taking the mick, honest) had in the race with Lambert & the 2 Edinbugh riders (can't remember exactly or be bothered to check) was that Lambert left him a tad exposed so the 2 Monarchs effectivley 'beat him up'. It happens; 'you give me shove today, I'll give you a shove tomorow, long as we all survive to ride another day, then we go after it again'. IMO he'll learn more from such awkward on-track incedents, & going to Poland with GB U19 squad where gotta say he did blooming well, than beating NL-level riders with relative ease, well some of them. Said before, but Luke ain't half bad at speedway, at all, often need to check the number on his back to be sure it isn't the more experienced Ablitt one is watching. But young Luke has got 'it', that is the ability to race, not only ride, speedway very well, you only need to watch him for a lap, how much of 'it' he has, time will tell & it will be interesting to follow his progress, but he has defo got 'it'. Good luck to him I say....2 points

This whole sorry business of dropping riders (sacking) call it what you like was outlined in an article by Phil Lansing in last weeks Speedway Star ....and to what end , move up the League a place if your lucky , I appreciate fans want a winning side but to drop and sign riders on a whim is wrong in my humble opinion.2 points

But didn’t he come back last season to replace the uncommitted Laguta when the Stars had nothing to race for? Granted it was later in the season and no doubt sniffing another medal as a guest again.2 points

Good effort from the lads to fight back in the second half of the meeting last night. Track was very poor for the first few heats but there was some good racing towards the end. Josh, Sedgy & Paco were top notch again, Lasse with a big ride in 12 and Kye came on well in his last two. Connor throwing points away from scoring positions again, frustrating but I’m sure it will click soon and Max still recovering from his injury but looking better as well.1 point
