Its due to only racing each team once home and away . If we're only going with nine teams then forget the BSN thing and go with two home and away league meetings . We could be racing every week then .9 points

A super heat in a league match is complete nonsense... Draw: Home team 1pt Away team 2pts5 points
-
@AceBelle where’s Brady? Thought it was no question he’d be in the team tomorrow? As I said before, check the morals of your own team and riders and make sure they don’t the same thing as others before criticising :)5 points

I watched the recording today, not a bad meeting with some good racing BUT what an appalling dump of a stadium and track. Crowd look very low but maybe TV had an effect. This doesn’t promote the sport in a positive way that people would want to go and watch speedway.3 points
-
Will be interesting to see the size of crowd for this one. Its been 6 weeks since the Tigers last home meeting and a defeat at that followed by three more on the road. Cash hasn't been splashed on new signings so its the same team who've struggled thus far, and the school holidays are about to begin. On the plus side it looks like it'll be pleasantly warmer.2 points

He was ahead of Masters because he pushed through and took him out. Simple. But as I said, a bad referring decision didn't cost us thankfully, so we can let it go.2 points

How is he a step up? Yet to score a point for Poole he might do at some point tonight Why did Poole sign Perry knowing he was coming back from injury and might take time? He has just been taken out of his easiest ride in heat 8 as well2 points

Hardly every month never mind every week, and isn't it the same distance from Glasgow to Poole/Plymouth as Poole/ Plymouth to Glasgow.2 points

British Speedway and its supporters being taken as mugs!! I was going to go to Sheffield tomorrow, but won't be doing now.2 points
-
I don't think anyone has commented that it won't be a good match etc, just that it should be correctly advertised. If the name doesn't matter, why not call it the Jubilee league final so Poole can say they held their leg2 points
-
Poole still advertising the meeting as the riders championship, but the British Speedway website advertising as a development series fixture. Could this be a case of false advertising by Poole? Making out it's a bigger fixture than it actually is? Surely by now both Poole & the BSPL have noticed they are advertising different meetings, why hasn't one of them corrected the other? If it is the NDLRC Poole should be raging at the BSPL for not advertising it correctly. If it is a development series match, the BSPL should be telling Poole to be honest about their fixture. If the NDLRC is a development series match, then they should both be clearer about the fixture.2 points
-
Glasgow gave the same discount after their meeting with Berwick which also got abandoned after heat six. While this is in line with the standard BSPL terms and conditions, it's derisory and badly needs updating/ upgrading.2 points
-
Well it is but you need sum way of deciding an aggregate bonus point if the score is level after the two meetings.1 point
-
Super heat should only apply when the aggregate score is level.1 point

Dunno about watching it on TV, it's far better to be there like I was tonight!1 point
-
Yes, maybe time to get rid of superheat as now the Daily Echo saying we lost the meeting! If the media struggle with it prob best to scrap it tbh.1 point

We didn't actually lose though! It was a draw after 15 that is why we have a league point1 point

In heat 14 we were very unlucky. Perfect gate by Zach called back, rerun gated again Heeps crashed and bike hit Foord. Third rerun Boughen gates. No luck there at all. What is clear is that Poole are a better team than Oxford and the Cheetahs are no threat this season. Entertaining evenings entertainment and BSN are bloody brilliant.1 point

Fantastic meeting. Well done Oxford. Point in the bag for the Boyzzzz1 point

It seems clear Poole would've been better with r/r, perhaps they should've showed more faith in their own riders? I guess it doesn't matter so much if r/r would score more than Tobias, the question is would r/r score more than Joe?1 point

C'MON THE BOYZZZZZZ If anyone can we can! C'mon We Can Do this!!1 point

Thomsen actually got 3+2. Which included a 5-1 with Lawson in H11 beating Scott Nicholls.1 point

I think Oxford are favourites for the last play-off spot. But a loss here, gives the bottom half of the table hope. Imo Oxford are strengthened & Poole weakened by missing riders, so no excuses if Cheetahs lose.1 point

Plymouth can barely be bothered to run home matches half the time, so I wouldn't worry too much about them.1 point

I'm trying to think of a daft reply but for once me brain as gone flat! But it was actually a pint of Oxford's best lager , well a Stella1 point

Surely Kurtz gets 28 day ban from after the meeting tomorrow? Imagine we’ll see an update on the SCB website on Friday morning advising of that. As for the meeting going for a Sheffield win, again close as expect Mountain to outscore the Sheffield reserves comfortably, something around the 48-42 scoreline1 point

Apart from the opening round( or 2) yes. Poland have a match on Friday evening in the Euros, hence why Wroclaw match isn’t until 20.45 local time.1 point

Heeps is always good at Oxford, his away form has picked up now which is good for them but still looks a very average team that we should be capable of beating.1 point

He’s very busy with his businesses. He was however on last Friday and will be on again this Friday.1 point

You know false advertising is an actual law, right? The first line of which reads: "Marketing communications must not mislead the consumer by omitting material information" You can't just ignore it because you're taking the financial risk of hosting an event and don't want to lose money! That's now how laws work.1 point

Really looking forward to tonight''s meeting at Sandy Lane as I drink me pre-meeting flat white in me local Costa. This will be my 4th visit (incl. one rain off) of the season to Oxford where I always enjoy the racing and this time the Pirates will hopefully be the winners in what I expect to be a closely hard fought contest. Mind yers the Poole side is more like a Pirates/Lions select side with Lawson, Hagon, Thompson (Cubs) & Foord (Cubs). Certainly gives the Pirates plenty of roar! Me score-ometer reads a Pirates victory 47-43 to really get a hold on the play offs. If anyone can we can C'mon the Boyzzzz1 point

What a load of piffle from Butterfield. Well done Dotty nailing him with some of those questions. "Have you ever been to a speedway meeting? The answer proved that he clearly has not. I wonder if he paid his last couple of quid for a programme so he could follow it?. He really struggled to remember if he really did, couldn't say when and how he could guess (yes GUESS!) how many people were there. The speedway club knew how many people were there because otherwise the council wouldn't let them stay open and stage meetings under safety laws And to say he wants to see a full business plan from the club before he will have a meeting in that last few seconds of the interview shows just how frightened he is to argue his case face -to-face. The speedway busines plan is nothing to do with him. Reverse that argument to him and see just how thin his fag-packet operation is. Filed records show three out of the four companies he tries to show are "AEPG" really have one director and one employee - HIM, an existence of a couple of years and a reputation of zero viable successful history. The other company that he took over from the farmers has two directors (one him) and about a dozen employees. He has no record of doing anything like this before, so put against the over 50 years plus of viable life for the Panthers, which one is the most likley to be true, viable and reliable? He is less likely to be coming up with the truth even by the standards of the politians we have been hearing from in the past couple of weeks! He must be using the same fag-packet suppliers as they clearly do - he certainly uses enough. His knowledge of what a charity can and cannot do is pathetic and to use the spurious arguments he desparately pulled out of thin air at the end of the interview gives me a great deal of confidence that he will not win this one.1 point

Osborne should be done for fraud he has taken a sporting venue with a covenant on and turned it in to a housing development, as for Swindon council they have allowed it to happen and in many instances basically rubber stamped it.1 point

Rosco is too busy trying to revive Swindon. As for replacements, they are few and far between, a few outside the box suggestions Janowski could influence Laguta or Gusts, i believe Lindback is still riding somewhere and think his average is reasonable Not sure if Zagar still has no club?1 point

When the riders dictate things, they way they do, you have zero chance of running the sport successfully.... And, if anyone's argument is "blame Poland"... Then. Go it alone on whatever days/times you want to ride.. Has having the "stars" riding over here increased attendances enough to build the whole system around them? Enough to destroy any credibility and integrity of the comps for? There is simply no deterrent to make the riders turn up, given so much of their total income will be Poland led... And whilst this happens, UK Speedway will have more and more 28 day bans, which does it (and more importantly the fans), no favours at all..1 point

Thanks, but with no Boston there was not much choice apart from Scunny, and we met new good friends there and they travelled from Gt. Yarmouth for every home meeting.1 point
