  2. He's a bit of a miracle man is Carlos , he even managed to recover from being out of today's race to finishing on the rostrum. Not many can claim that

  3. I signed him for that season with all the ‘baggage’ that came with him but the ‘baggage train’ is now bigger than the station and no club with any decent standards will be signing him.

  5. Great racing t Workington again. This track and Belle Vue have to be a blueprint for any new tracks that may be built in the future (**cough** Swindon) Heat 4 was a very strange decision by the ref. Sam McGurk clearly brought Luke Killeen off. You could see the bump when they collided and Sam was snaking afterwards. I can only think that the ref was watching Troy and Scott going at it hammer and tongs half a lap ahead at the time. Tate Zischke looks like he is going to be one hell of a rider. There's a future GP rider right there! (No pressure). They said on BSN that Celina was taken ill on her flight and is in hospital. Hope she is ok.

  11. I think they’ve seen what Steve Lawson has done for Bewley and working with him may turn him into a Bewley 2.0 (the kid is going to be world class no doubt), and that he has pretty much unlimited track access for practice etc has a lot to do with it, plus why wouldn’t you it’s a superb place.

  12. We all want to see the best riders over here regardless of which team we follow. Nice one Brum! What average does Freddie come in on?

  13. Think you’re being a bit reactionary to Thursdays poor performance. And yes, it was a dreadful performance but to be fair to the lad, that’s the first real stinker he’s had. Over all meetings last year, Rew averaged 4.43 with a GSA of 3.74. This season so far, he’s averaging 5.51 with a GSA of 4.76. While not pulling up any trees by any means, he’s averaging just over a point more so far than last year so definite signs of improvement.

  15. is this poster a real speedway fan or just a kob head ? if redcar sign this toe rag it will be the end of travelling away fans visiting other tracks . who wants to watch a robber and ???? user make a comeback into the sport .both poster and kob head are a discrace to speedway and the fans .. DONTDO IT REDCAR . you will pay for it in the future .

  16. Lynn need to make a change now,or before our next match anyway.Toft goes to reserve next month and imo he has to be the one that goes. They have over 7pts to play with,so surely must be looking for someone so it can keep Wojdylo at reserve.

  17. Obviously wearing the wrong glasses! They said before on BSN that the ref can look at BSN footage so why didn't he, just read technical fault, seems to be a fault with his eyes too!

  23. Bears lost Charles Wright at the end of 23 and didnt win a match after that. They've lost King this season and lost one of the best track curators in the country leading to an inconsistent home track and all you can do is moan . What a great supporter you are, the club have gone out and signed one of the only riders available, as they will , quite rightly ,never resign Garrity. Gilkes is young and British and rides Redcar very well, yes, hes not a heat leader but he’ll do a good job for the Bears taking some of the pressure currently on Bailey and Edwards. Support your team !

  24. Pleased with Dan Gilkes, think he will be an improvement on Knudsen (which wouldn't be hard).

  25. Exactly the same reasons he should have come to Leicester to get some PL experience, Stewart Dickson would have taken good care of him, unlimited track time and also a superb place ()

  28. I like football, I pay money to my club, Bristol City, to listen and watch the streams officially available to me helping put money into my team. I do exactly the same with the excellent service BSN provide for us, I pay my money firstly to watch and secondly to pay for the work they do for us and the sport. Shame on anybody who gets by this on the cheap when the sport needs help.

  46. They always go by averages these days. Mountain & Howarth's are above Dan's. Even if he wasn't in a SGP2 qualifier, he wouldn't have made it. Shows the flaws in not having qualifiers for the British Final. Dan has done well this year, but misses out because of last year's scores.

  48. Lakeside, Am i correct in thinking the land owner no longer wanted Speedway their. Rye House, The Owners again do not want Speedway. Wimbledon, GRA did not want Speedway nor in the end Greyhound racing. Hackney, Was that site required for the Olympics. Wolverhampton, Yet another requested to leave by Stadium owners. Stoke, Landowners sold the Stadium. Boston, No idea. Eastbourne, Unviable or should i say Bills unpaid. Newport, Closed and demolished by Owners. Exeter, I,m guessing that yet again Stadium developed by Owners. Cradley Heath, Sold for development by the owners. Long Eaton, Sold for development by the owners. Coventry, Situation fluid and ongoing. The common factor amongst the majority of closed Stadiums is that they were closed for future development by the Stadium owners, some of the exceptions being Sunderland, Newcastle, Bradford, Workington (Rugby). The major issue is that primarily Speedway promoters are tenants of these Stadia and therefore it is out of their hands what the Stadium owners decide to do ie take the big bucks from developers or loose change in rent from Speedway promoters usually on an annual lease. As for Osborne he is a developer, sold Bristol, Closed Reading, Milton Keynes, and Swindon, something went wrong at Hereford, and Torquay don't want to play ball with his new Stadia idea, I have no doubt he is on the look out for potential none League Football Stadiums preferably in the South West..
