What utter rubbish. This is a forum to discuss speedway. The fact of whether a meeting is on or not is fair game. Also… I was right.4 points

I like football, I pay money to my club, Bristol City, to listen and watch the streams officially available to me helping put money into my team. I do exactly the same with the excellent service BSN provide for us, I pay my money firstly to watch and secondly to pay for the work they do for us and the sport. Shame on anybody who gets by this on the cheap when the sport needs help.4 points

It's a superb track, arguably the best in the UK, and produces fantastic racing. I love going there for meetings.4 points

To be honest it’s been mentioned several times, programme buyers hate it, why they don’t just save it and just have a race day update for when the team returns is beyond me, especially when we have the fact of the same 6 teams 2 or 3 times a season.3 points

Tai Woffinden had a front puncture in the ht11, that’s why he purposely touched the tapes. Quick thinking but unfortunately the track wasn’t conducive to overtaking last night, think Kyle Howarth made five passes (two in one race) that were after lap 1 bend 2 apart from that can’t really remember any others apart from that. By the way great to see Kyle back on it last night, he’s tried absolutely everything to get his season on track including arranging a practice session on Tuesday this week to try get a set up working at Owlerton, by the way if there’s a video of ht15 with his battle with Lawson including the hairy moment off bend 4 into the home straight I’d love to see that3 points

It has changed massively, no more tight corners, multiple racing lines, racing has been the best ever so far this season, even beats Belle vue3 points

Tbh he has probably suffered enough.... . ...joke, sorry I couldn't resist!2 points

Plymouth/Gary may pulling a fast one ?? Covati 2 retirements in 2 rides, probably not fit, now may get a guest facility for rest of the year, like Eddie Kennett the other year2 points

Think Plymouth will do well today. Poole 48-42 Plymouth2 points

Surprised, not surprised, Lemo didn't go for Lidsey in 15. Surely you've got to put your big hitters in the crunch races.2 points

I live 15 minutes by car from the track and it's been dry all day! Look at the Met Office forecast for Possil Park and the little video which shows all the main bands of rain missing the track.2 points

Personally it’s more to do with who’s running the club than what league we are in to get the feel good factor back it’s lack of enthusiasm in running the club we are just going through the motions each season and it’s been that way for a few seasons the club has never been the same since Jonathan Chapman left he wasn’t everyones cup of tea but he had enthusiasm for running the club Buster has none unfortunately - new ideas is what’s needed more than a different league2 points

I think scaramanga was led on by the Antti-Vuolas brigade, who hoped he wouldn’t stay for long.2 points

All scored from reserve as that was the previous version of 'Rising Stars' but the riders stayed at reserve all year and faced 6 fellow reserves and just two second strings in their programmed rides.2 points

He's much better than what he's showing. At the minute the other boys are covering for him by still winning Home meetings which is key to finishing 4th, I'd give Magic 1 more month whilst Oxford still have a grip on 4th place and if no improvement happens then get rid. Only Leicester can nick 4th place off the Spires and they're in a complete mess with various underperformers every night.2 points

Agree about the program situation. Why don't they just save the program's until the said team comes to Lynn.If you need an insert because the team line up has changed then so be it.You would much rather have a Sheffield insert in a month old Sheffield program than an Ipswich insert in a month old Sheffield program.I don't know who makes the decision on these matters.2 points

First of all best wishes to Jason, I was amazed to see him get up from what was a terrible looking crash. Highlight of the evening was stand in team manager Buster thanking the weather for holding off so he could get the meeting on! If it continues to hold off they will soon be able to issue a programme that relates to the meeting that's actually on , three inserts out of three so far. Overall a good meeting run at a reasonable pace with a few excellent races2 points

Refreshing to see an injured rider turn up to support his team... a move a lot of other riders could learn from Picko is hugely impressive as a "team" man and often comes across as he cares a hell of a lot more than a lot of his various team mates2 points

There's been a backlash to his appearance at the Blunsdon site. To be honest when I spoke to two local councillors, the Green one said it's a shame about the Moto Cross, and the Red one didn't seem to care. Not enough peeps bothered about local speedway these days. Swindon becoming a dormitory town for commuters to the south-east now, recreational stuff disappearing, just more houses everywhere being built on sporting areas.2 points

Zarnovica and Lonigo meetings both available on PPV from Tapes up TV2 points

Think you will find they are in the Prem & Plymouth in the Champ. So not impossible to ride for both!1 point

Congratulations Poole well done you totally deserved it, we are obviously not going to turn that around Tommorow so congratulations I hope you win it , from the Plymouth perspective it doesn’t sit easy with me the Covatti situation especially if he’s not seen again but I hope I’m proved wrong on that , Newman I never saw that coming tonight woeful scoring. As for Poole as good a side as you are to win a league you can’t carry passengers and I don’t think young max is up to it, and in the long run it will do nothing for his confidence.I hope my fellow Plymouth fans can be honest about tonight after 4 heats I thought we might be in with a chance but it was not to be so well done Poole and I hope you win it.1 point

58 points from 6 riders! Not bad tonight. Can't understand how IRR was able to be used for Covatti? Clearly not fit to race yet as he inferred in interview - stretched his stitches and couldn't turn the bike easily. Maybe it's Plymouth merely getting the sympathy vote?!1 point

Surely we can get this meeting rescheduled after next weekend with nothing really for next 3 week1 point

The anointed one will be asking for a new race partner shortly, all these 15 point Max's doing nothing to help keep his average down!1 point

As strong as Lublin are it was przyjemski who ultimately won the match for Lublin, lindgren for what ever reason is just not at the races these last couple of weeks1 point

A very useful video for anyone who didn't know what he is like. Worth noting that Opportunity Peterborough (hosting the event) is wholly owned by Peterborough City Council. Also clock the nasty piece of work at the end who says that that's what people do when Butterfield calls the local and nationwide speedway fans selfish because they don't want to lose Peterborough Speedway & 50 years of local/national/world history and community to the fantasy vision of a greedy developer which will not, IMHO, appear in a disruptive 12 years time anything like the glossy brochure.1 point

You are being overly dramatic, in my opinion.1 point

They should be able to utilise the whole 2 minutes, don’t think some of the start marshals quite understand that at the moment, maybe another one for Morris’ to do list1 point

When you see the crash you would take broken bones any day of the week.He could of ended much worse than that.Thank god he only has cracked ribs.Good luck in a speedy recovery Mr Doyle.1 point
-
Magic's not slow, he's clearly got pace. Problem is he's about two bikes lengths behind at the first bend each race. If he can sort out his starts, he'll be a bargain on his current average.1 point

better than a broken arm. probably. i wonder when danny king will be back1 point

Slightly off topic, but forgot that Kyle Newman was in and around some really top line riders that year points wise. Such a shame some really bad injuries stopped his progression from there.1 point

I don't understand why they don't say that at the track. It's not difficult!1 point

Watching Peter Craven and Ove thundering into the 3rd bend at Belle Vue (where I always stood), especially for the Golden Helmet Match Race, was absolutely amazing. Two brilliant riders, completely different in build and riding styles, racing very close but not clashing, total respect for each other........ never to be forgot.1 point
