The bike setup was great for getting out the gate all night but when it hit the dirt it was sapping the power out the engine hence the loss of straight line speed coming off the the bend he made a changes but didn't work much better so was trying to keep it out the deeper stuff his engine was good but just not strong enough ,scoring double his ave in his 1st home meeting and some people still moaning lol5 points

Great to hear that cookie had a good meeting and broke the track record to boot, well done Craig, you deserve all the success that now comes your way...well done, great to see you back to the form we all know you're capable of showing, good luck for the rest of the season.4 points

I'd have to disagree with that point, clubs don't sign Speedway riders just because they try. If Workington thinks she'll improve & hit her 4.00 average - then that's the reason not to drop her.3 points

No It’s Not quite as simple as that he did say he is bringing another engine up for next week3 points

That was a good win against a a decent Berwick side. It’s worth pondering the outcome, had Flint been available. Would he have scored as many as Vissing? Doubtful, but then again, if Complin was available, I’m confident he’d have scored more than Hagon’s four. Starke looked slow, so credit where it’s due; his five, paid eight was an achievement. Borke is a rider. I can’t imagine he’ll be at reserve for long. Berwick have a great talent on their hands there. There was some great racing on show last night. Lots of passing and lots of tussling, so fair play to both sets of riders.3 points

Yes, that’s because in the last three seasons he’s failed to score double figures on three occasions in his last eight visits, but two of those three were paid double figures. You got stick because despite being presented with the facts that totally went against your argument, you decided to stick your fingers in your ears and die on that hill which made you look stupid. Last three seasons at Foxhall 7+1 9+2 11+1 9+1 14+1 14+1 12+2 10+3 Why do people just blatantly Lie? I’d say Thursdays poor performance was very much UNLIKE Harris’ “usual Foxhall self” from recent history. Again, that’s because in recent years he’s scored double figures there more often than he hasn’t. It really isn’t difficult to understand is it, Orion? Well for some people it clearly is!3 points

From a Berwick perspective I think tonight was far more positive than negative, I have no doubt as has been mentioned that if Glasgow hadn’t had Claus we would’ve taken the bonus point and potentially the meeting. If Sedgy had started how he finished maybe even then we could’ve stolen the bonus point. Kemp looked the best he has looked so far in a Bandits race jacket and despite nobody really setting the world alight we hung in there till the end. Next Friday at Armadale is make or break for our chances of qualification, a must win if there ever was one.3 points

Just saw this on twitter, made me laugh. Have to say impressed with the start Dan Thompson has made this season. https://x.com/SocialSpeedway/status/17817726661158543722 points

Scunthorpe had their ‘lap of honour’ , just after the first junior race, like always happens at Redcar, no matter who wins. Agree about the car park but it’s not the speedways car park , and the council have been asked to do something about it but don’t hold your breath.2 points

Think starky did ok tonight paid 8 from a 4 point rider is pretty decent he used his head in his last heat to team ride with Sam to keep Borke behind but was struggling for speed suppose lack of riding doesn’t help either2 points

Ok ,thought there would be a reasoning behind it like always, social media clowns with no facts1 point

think you'll find the real reason Jake wasn't at his best tonight or last night was he is suffering from tonsillitis and has no energy at all. I caught up with him after the meeting and he sounded and looked pretty rough. Think that explains why his point scoring power was down. He will be back though I'm sure. Well done to Mark Phillips and everyone who has been involved in the project over the winter. You have done a great job with still a bit more to do in places. Massive project, horrendous weather but it's a from me. Gladiators 24 will be a different proposition. The team make up is a typical one from Gazza and I'm sure he will get the best out of them. Seen Dan Thompson twice this year now and wow! Very impressive at Oxford in the Premiership and again superb this evening. Got to say as well how good is his Dad with the kids after the meeting! He was pushing my 10yr old son around the car park in one of Joe's bikes before he loaded up the van. Didn't need to do that but it was brilliant and I reckon Logan won't forget that in a hurry.1 point

Both good at what they do as they have both rode a bike so they know exactly what there talking about1 point

Think it was better than that in all competitions - 12 home, 12 away. In 83.33% of home meetings and 83.33% of away meetings Claus scored more than the 5 point average he was signed on. 2 bad meetings at home and 2 away1 point

Vissing out to prove a point against his former club scores 13 just missing out on a maximum One day later Vissing riding for his 2024 team on his home track which suits his style of racing scores 4 from 4. As previously commented Vissing does produce some great performances but let's not forget the levels of inconsistency seen last season before Injury. Great guest for us but let's at least give every rider in the current Glasgow team a chance to show what they can do.1 point

As a neutral this has been a good meeting, shame about King’s crash. Track looks superb where you can pass anywhere and no one is safe in front. Congratulations to all those involved to make Workington happen. Hope you have a great season1 point

It always amazes me how poor as a team we perform there, because individually Doyley, Danny and Adam have been very successful there. Just keep it close if you can lads, a bonus point is a must #fingerscrossed.1 point

His last ride he team rode with sam to not leave him vulnerable to Borke keeping the score 3-3 Borke who would have maybe could have passed sam and give them a 4.21 point

No, they always wait until after the first second half race to let the winners do a lap of honour. Not a snub to Scorpions at all. Car park is pretty treacherous to walk through in the dark, especially if it has been wet.1 point

I wouldn't expect travel expenses to be an issue, its got to be something else. Last year we were flying in Marcin, Claus and Basso. Even this early in the season it looks an act of gross self harm and will only heighten fans frustration when Leon isnt so good at home. Thats not Leon's fault, he has the whole season to get to grips with Ashfield but get to grips with it he must.1 point

I’m happy to do it again Fozzie, I did it at Birmingham away last season for the Glads1 point

A lot off If buts and maybe,s if lee hadn’t failed his drug test pretty sure Glasgow would have won at Berwick if the team manager gave Borke 7 rides you might have got bonus point1 point

Danny King is going missing in the big races in this League .IMo.Good effort from Redcar considering the lost Wright.1 point

Another week where the Bears start well, then fade badly and lose. Bigger defeat than last week but probably more encouraging performance (if that makes sense?). Meeting changed when Charlie, who only had one completed ride, took a really awkward tumble over his handlebars and hurt his shoulder and Bears had to use IRR. The race he was injured in was turning into the best race of the night and his loss was too much for the inconsistent Bears to overcome. Edwards, Bailey and Knudsen all showed much better flashes this week, which was encouraging but the team overall is still too hit and miss. King started well but faded and was poor when it mattered most. Scorpions are a strong team with a lot of riders who like Redcar so I was expecting a defeat and given the circumstances it’s not all doom and gloom for the Bears. Crowd seemed significantly down from last week which is a worry although it was a bitterly cold night.1 point

This has been a game of two guests; Vissing has been great, Sedgman has been awful1 point

That's the trouble when in the past you've called meetings off based on forecasts and it's be alright and then on other occasions they've decided to run when the forecast looks horrendous... punters will start making their own decisions on whether they think it'll actually go ahead or not in the absence of any set procedure for clubs to follow. For what it's worth I think Leicester (or any club for that matter) should be applauded for getting meeting's on.1 point

My parents who are both in their early 80's and have had season tickets for a long as i can remember have not bothered getting one this season, they have instead invested in a BSN season ticket and then pick n choose whether they attend a live meeting depending on the weather on the day, can't say i blame um at their age if it's gonna be a cold/wet evening.1 point

I’m sure they all communicate…..but one rider’s set up won’t necessarily suit others though…….it’s an individual thing to suit style, technique and engine etc.1 point

to stand in south stand (where i normally stand) 4 meeting package works out at 30.75. per meeting. ill have that. But 65 if just for final.1 point

What I’m saying is I think Cook has played around with his set up and scored enough pts to make it worth his while , I watched the match and I’m sure others will agree if they took the Poole glasses off1 point
