The bike setup was great for getting out the gate all night but when it hit the dirt it was sapping the power out the engine hence the loss of straight line speed coming off the the bend he made a changes but didn't work much better so was trying to keep it out the deeper stuff his engine was good but just not strong enough ,scoring double his ave in his 1st home meeting and some people still moaning lol5 points

Great to hear that cookie had a good meeting and broke the track record to boot, well done Craig, you deserve all the success that now comes your way...well done, great to see you back to the form we all know you're capable of showing, good luck for the rest of the season.4 points

I'd have to disagree with that point, clubs don't sign Speedway riders just because they try. If Workington thinks she'll improve & hit her 4.00 average - then that's the reason not to drop her.3 points

No It’s Not quite as simple as that he did say he is bringing another engine up for next week3 points

That was a good win against a a decent Berwick side. It’s worth pondering the outcome, had Flint been available. Would he have scored as many as Vissing? Doubtful, but then again, if Complin was available, I’m confident he’d have scored more than Hagon’s four. Starke looked slow, so credit where it’s due; his five, paid eight was an achievement. Borke is a rider. I can’t imagine he’ll be at reserve for long. Berwick have a great talent on their hands there. There was some great racing on show last night. Lots of passing and lots of tussling, so fair play to both sets of riders.3 points

Yes, that’s because in the last three seasons he’s failed to score double figures on three occasions in his last eight visits, but two of those three were paid double figures. You got stick because despite being presented with the facts that totally went against your argument, you decided to stick your fingers in your ears and die on that hill which made you look stupid. Last three seasons at Foxhall 7+1 9+2 11+1 9+1 14+1 14+1 12+2 10+3 Why do people just blatantly Lie? I’d say Thursdays poor performance was very much UNLIKE Harris’ “usual Foxhall self” from recent history. Again, that’s because in recent years he’s scored double figures there more often than he hasn’t. It really isn’t difficult to understand is it, Orion? Well for some people it clearly is!3 points

From a Berwick perspective I think tonight was far more positive than negative, I have no doubt as has been mentioned that if Glasgow hadn’t had Claus we would’ve taken the bonus point and potentially the meeting. If Sedgy had started how he finished maybe even then we could’ve stolen the bonus point. Kemp looked the best he has looked so far in a Bandits race jacket and despite nobody really setting the world alight we hung in there till the end. Next Friday at Armadale is make or break for our chances of qualification, a must win if there ever was one.3 points

Scunthorpe had their ‘lap of honour’ , just after the first junior race, like always happens at Redcar, no matter who wins. Agree about the car park but it’s not the speedways car park , and the council have been asked to do something about it but don’t hold your breath.2 points

Think starky did ok tonight paid 8 from a 4 point rider is pretty decent he used his head in his last heat to team ride with Sam to keep Borke behind but was struggling for speed suppose lack of riding doesn’t help either2 points

Thank you to all the Redcar fans who made the journey over. Speedway clubs have to try and support each other wherever possible. It was a really entertaining meeting despite the delayed start due to the late arrival of the medical cover. Really felt for Danny King who was unfortunately side swiped on the home straight after Sam McGurk appeared to pick up grip and come hurtling across the track, a really nasty looking incident that I was relieved to see him walk away from. Get well soon Danny. Most of the Redcar team showed plenty of spirit with Jonas Knudsen in particular catching the eye on his first visit to The GT Tyres Arena.1 point

That's a good point, there's no rush to make a change, as she can be replaced anytime by a fellow 4.00 rider. As long as Workington can stay in contention for a top 4 spot that is.1 point

The interest must be very low, but you're welcome to start them yourself. That what I did for most of the 2024 threads.1 point

The comets have a fair shout at silver wear this year if they bite the bullet and move Liebmann on. Taking sex out if it she’s not very good and not even close to a 4 pointer. If they can bring someone in that’s capable of scoring there average then they’ll be there of thereabouts.1 point

I'm a tad more optimistic this year with young Adam in the side, and the reserves could play a big part in this...1 point

Phil Morris has a pretty good track record of getting meetings on... unlike British Speedway! There are people that want to see a GP held at the NSS, if they think that they're going to pick up a ticket for the same price as those at Cardiff they're living in cloud cuckoo land, it's simple supply and demand economics... and like you say everything in this country pretty much costs double what it did a few years ago. Dreamboat Phil will get these meetings on, whatever the conditions1 point

The debate was can Harris score in double figures in a heat leader role in a final v a this decent Ipswich side .. so we are worried about last year stats . 12 + 2 was a good meeting but he was at 4 and 10 +3 was riding for Ippo . The bottom line in my opinion that he would have only scored 6 or 7 in that final in a heat leader role not the stupid scores you and others were going on about . So pure logic nothing to do with putting fingers in ears etc . Sadly we never got the chance to see who was right . Of course the next port of call was you to go crazy because i said don't rate Oxford and said that Magic was on the downgrade and not a No 1 and they would come unstuck in heats 13 -15 ... Thou its early that's looking pretty spot on . No doubt if this trend carries on you will be sticking your fingers in your ears or getting angry as normal .1 point

Slick/ Grippy We will be coming down for the win, not matter what the track is like. If we cannot win then we settle for the bonus point.1 point

They might be but if they had to fly someone in they would, and could. Its a choice.1 point

Fair post again from Yearby. Think with Charles we may have won but who knows. Was a much improved performance by some, with Knudsen having a good night and Bailey looked quick after his opening ride. Great to see Edwards continue his progress. For Scunny MPT was excellent, with rest giving good support without any real standouts I thought. Harrisons four points proved hugely crucial. Track on the slick side again but understandable with the amount of rain again this week.1 point

King's Lynn has to be grippy vs Sheffield. Woffinden always bins it at Lynn when grippy & C.Holder will cry like a female dog about it. The boys would need practice time on it though or the Stars will be binning it also. Run the track slick, King's Lynn won't hit 40 at home, & they can't afford another defeat1 point

It’s hard at times to get one’s head around the fact prices for almost everything and anything have shot up in the last few years. Last year, on holiday south Shropshire we paid £13 for fish, chips and peas each, and that was takeaway price…..no cafe seats, we found a bench in a park. If “we” want live world class speedway on a British track, and Belle Vue is one of the best race tracks in the world, that most of the riders/mechanics, plus officials etc, are travelling many miles mostly from abroad, then it has to be paid for. The erection of the temporary stand on turn 3-4 will cost more than a few quid as well. You can’t compare prices with a uk premiere championship meeting, it’s in a different class. It is clearly a case of if you don’t want to pay the price then you don’t attend. I was at BV for the 2016 world team meeting at the atmosphere was pretty amazing. This year I am very happy staying at home watching everything that will be televised for the £6.99 Discovery+ are charging per month.1 point

If Nicholls has the wrong helmet colour on then surely he should’ve been excluded on the 2 minutes there. Or was there more to it like Oxford don’t know the rule book when it comes to changes.1 point

Like I've seen you say before. Just show up to be entertained by the strongest possible sides and not look too far beyond it. I would rather see sedgy than r/r or a sub standard guest personally1 point

Birmingham Monday on the way up, Oxford on the Sunday afterwards on the way home and Sheffthorpe on the blank Thursday to make 7 meetings in 7 days. Go on British weather I dare you to foil my plans!1 point

There are many riders that were exciting prospects end up as journeymen speedway riders.Maybe he is in that category.1 point

It is easy to make knee jerk reactions - change X for X - following a disappointing result. The likes of Pawlicki, Milik & Lampart are the obvious easy targets but surely at least give them the opportunity to attain a none assessed average. Then the team has more options for changes moving forward.1 point

No he's correct the match you are referring to was on 30 July. But Laguta rode (for Peterborough) against Leicester on 7 Sept scoring a max. But it is also worth noting that Laguta'a away scores were stunningly unimpressive, including 4 at Leicester losing to Sedgmen and Allen1 point

So who do you change for Flint? he is one of the best rising stars, imo I wouldn't swop him for any other rider on the list.1 point
