Sheffield booked the tiny No1 room with no sea view for £200 per night but at the last minute we're allowed to switch to the Robert Lambert penthouse suite (amazing reassessed at just £175 per night)5 points

Well I'm sure getting a ban for cocaine use will be a big boost to his case for access.3 points

Assuming Richie is factually correct. Bottom line is if he never had cocaine in his system he wouldn’t have got a £1,500 fine if he took his punishment instead spouting off all over social media he wouldn’t have got the £3000 fine. No point in blaming everyone else.3 points

He'll pay considerably less than half the current CL in the PL. But he'll not lose money and have a competitive home team. If they average 25 points away he'll save money. He is very pragmatic. He's outlived a lot of dream merchants.3 points

He could be the most important signing of all. Best in the business IMO.3 points

They picked the hotel because they had heard it has plenty of "guests".... I'll get me coat...3 points

Mmm ... so some claim , yest still they come back for more every season. Do they really think 2024 is going to be any better than 2023 ?2 points

That’s a choice remark coming from a Poole fan lisa…..lol. Yet again……I was only answering someone’s question but so sorry if I upset you.2 points

can only mean that when Rob is in Hungry for the fim meeting this weekend he will be finalising deals with Magic and Laguta wondered why he was shying away from signing Luke Harrison2 points

well certainly some deluded folk on here probably listening to Lewy and his source who said Steve Worrall is nailed on for scunny2 points

If its scratching around for a sixth team to make it feasible then it absolutely is unfortunately.2 points

Having seen Rye House close after the decision to move up to the Premier, I hope Scunthorpe don’t make the same mistake. I have no idea of the cost difference between the two leagues but surely points money must be more.2 points

It'd be naive to think this wouldn't be going through the accounts as a tax deductible business expense2 points

Personally the riders named have been here and done a bit, but Rene Bach would be an ok signing, but may not be cheap flying in and out of the country, didn't our promotion say the team had to be at a budget they could afford, would like to see a team of tryers that would win at home. Than a few top riders who may bankrupt the club on the 1st season back.2 points

Why should the Championship have to suffer to preserve the “so called” Premiership when only a handful of the different riders in that division are better than the present level of second division riders…..the majority are the same riders anyway. It’s a farce. I know it’s unlikely to happen but surely, logically, it’s time for one league with each team meeting twice home and away.2 points

On a personal level, the guy's (Richie) obviously got some issues and should probably seek some help1 point

Don't see what his brother not getting a top league spot has got to do with it.1 point

I bet we couldn't find a thread on the bsf without Skidder1 or lisa commenting on it. This is a Plymouth thread isn't it1 point

Lol. Something about the jury being biased? (If we are going on what he originally posted and not something in the comments).1 point

Richie has another 30 day suspension added to his current ban following his social media outburst!! Plus a further fine! www.scbgb.co.uk1 point

The best would be to stay put and see some great competitive racing.Premiership is a league of riders with too great differing standards .1 point

I just thought it was funny that you were going on at Skidder for not keeping on the subject you were discussing whilst also not doing the same on the thread1 point

Maybe it could be reassessed as he missed last season and a big chunk of 2022. Best interests of the sport and helping a British lad find a way back into the game. Would probably need another rule in the ever thickening book saying British riders who miss a season due to injury are entitled to a certain percentage reduction of their average.1 point

Claus averaged 6.19 away from home in league matches this year, 7.23 including bonus points (riding with Basso). Don't understand why he's not in Glasgow's plans on a 6.24 average when over the league season he averaged 7.07, 8.00 included bonus points1 point

Spot on Lisa, he was asked by Glasgow but couldn't decide if he was giving up championship and Glasgow didn't want to wait for a decision and miss out on team building1 point

Would make more sense for Rob Godfrey to step away from the top table of Speedway altogether and concentrate on running Scunny, driving his tractor and centre green presenting1 point

Imo Doyle will be around for few years to come his GP days may be coming to an end but with regards the UK he is one of the top performers and has loyally ridden here consistently for many years . Whilst I am not a particular fan I do appreciate he is a points machine especially in the British league and I am sure any team would welcome him with open arms .1 point

Ipswich need to be harsh with Doyle. He is 38 and is not going to get any better. I would go for Artem Laguta or Maciej Janowski.1 point

You can approach riders at any time of the year. Many have contracts in place long before the AGM. Of course, if they are on the retained list of another promoter you need their permission first.1 point

so instead of using a fair method of an average based on their actual form, you want everyone to be graded which isn't fair way at all?1 point
