I've never killed anyone whilst driving a train, a car, a motor bike and hope I never do,nor seriously injure someone. The impact must affect anyone with a conscience who does. The incident at Edinburgh when Craig's bike injured a photographer will have affected him deeply. He was totally blameless. Mental illness is silent, it is terrible and not to be underestimated or laughed at. Craig is many things but for gods sake let's cut him some slack and let him try to rebuild his career his confidence and his self esteem.6 points

Never said is was If he is fit and ready then good for him. Despite not being his biggest fan I would be very pleased to know a fellow human being is feeling improved/recovered after traumatic events2 points

All depends on what is decided at the agm, too much self interest and I don’t think our promotion will tolerate that but if everything is fair and sensible we will run imho.2 points

Maybe if Panthers changed their colours (again) to that of the Palestinian flag they could be guaranteed a large vociferous turnout2 points

This season was won by myself. That makes it a 7th consecutive year for a different winner! Adz was very close and Hawks adds a bronze medal to his gold medal from 2 years ago. The winning team was Jenkins, J. Thompson, Pearson, Roynon, Killeen, James, Harrison. Roynon predictably made a mockery of his artificial average. Despite usually being a popular pick, only 1 person went with Atkins for his breakthrough season. Pijper & King were the most common picks of riders who dropped their average.2 points

We can argue about percentages till we're blue in the face. The fact is that two senior, well known riders, as well as Steve Boxall, have been found guilty and banned, this year. Regardless of the number of tests done, this is far too many. Other factors might suggest there are others that have escaped detection and that's an even bigger concern. I have joked in the past, when a rider seems to be doing unusually well, that he won't pass the drugs test. Respected riders being "found out" makes me realise it ain't funny. It undermines the whole sport and threatens to attract the wrong sort of publicity. Not to mention the risk to life.2 points

There's bound to be at least one reg that we only find out about around June/July (possibly later) time when one 'smart' promoter looks to shaft the others....1 point

If people want Peterborough speedway to survive then the only place to be is at the protest not the speedway show. A high turn out with plenty of noise is vital, a poor turn out & that plays right into the developers hands. Good luck to all involved1 point

I noticed that was shut and fencing round it last year on my way to Silverstone. Shame to see the place closed as always looked busy and always loads of bikers outside when I used to go past.1 point

Don’t think they are in a position not to allow it, regardless what night they want to race on.1 point

Somewhere else that’s closed is Jack’s Hill Cafe on the A5 to the north of Towcester. This was a regular stop for supporters’ coaches returning north from the big meetings at Wembley, also in the London area such as British Finals, FIM Internationale, etc.1 point

Sounds like one big league would be the ideal scenario. Yes, riders would only have one club but the sport would be better for it.1 point

Definitely not enough testing done in a Professional Sport with such high risk consequences. If that is Worrells genuine Post as a reply on social media he is a disgrace to the Sport.1 point

Soon but if speedway has no money why is it in tenerife ? Also, hearing still lots to discuss/decide on, teams to move up as big doubts about Birmingham/Wolverhampton team, and Peterborough, these may have to be replaced to make premiership viable1 point

but that penalises the fans. Or perhaps you thinking there is so few of them who would care.1 point

The reserve pair are almost assured to be Killeen & Boughen with the top two of Nicholls & Masters. Then the remaining trio is the area of discussion, I would like to stick with Jenkins for my first choice. Heeps is a spent force he came as a third heat leader but now struggles at reserve Oxford can't afford that, Atkins is a question mark, it must be said he has ridden some good races this past season but is it enough. I would like to look elsewhere & possibly bring some new talent into the UK. Casper Hendriksen or Daniel Klima For instance goood young riders for the future or riders that have British experience Kevin Wolbert or Timo Lahti both had fantastic seasons.1 point

I was on a speedway tour once and needed to answer a call of nature (the sit down kind) and stopped at Watford Gap. Sat down and getting on with it, a mobile phone rang and I realised it was in the trap next to me. The call was answered and : 'Yes, I am on my way'. 'About an hour or so' 'Watford Gap' 'Having a sh@t' 'What do you mean again?' 'I am not always on the bog, so f@@k off'. I remember trying desperately to control myself.............1 point

They both took the same highly prevalent drug (cocaine). The other detected chemical is not a drug but a breakdown product of cocaine. It stays in the system longer than the cocaine.1 point

Agree Fromafar……..it’s the lowering of the points limit that’s the problem not the fact that there IS a limit.1 point

I find it really strange that the identical "substances" were found in 2 individuals samples. I also think the bans should be reworded to be "seasons" rather than years so that there is no benefit gained by being banned outside of the racing window.1 point

It’s the watering down of the Sport that most are complaining about.Riders are being force out because of it.In other sports it’s a levelling up process.1 point

Because he's no offers in Poland. Tom maybe has one. Imo he's be better concentrating on UK and Sweden then if he's good enough Poland. He's been great for us in 2.5 years but the facts are his form only really improved when rode with bomber at no.2. Dougie, basso and Pickering are at least genuine champ HLs1 point

As Poole have been unable to hold the home leg of this playoff surely the trophy should be awarded to Leicester in accordance withe the same principles used by the BSPA to decided the NDL Championship and the Knock Out Cup winner.1 point

Taken from this years rulebook 012.2 TEAM COMPOSITION A Premiership team’s initial declaration must not exceed 39.00 points for the top 6 riders. Rising Star riders will be declared at number 7. A Premiership teams declaration must not exceed 39.00 points in any declaration following the issue of established MA’s for 2023 for 6 riders, (excluding the Rising Star rider). Except where the MA of the introduced rider is equal to, or lower than the rider being replaced. A maximum of two riders declared in a Polish Ekstraliga team are permitted per team.1 point

I have not seen it written down, or referred to by any reliable source, or referenced by any British promoter. Either it is made up or forms part of an agreement for next season that will be formalised at the AGM. It would be nice to know.1 point

Slightly off tangent but whilst on the NYMR last week I spoke to a passenger who was from Hoddesdon and was very aware of Rye House and the present situation and on discussion found out that his great Uncle is Clive Hitch (who is still with us) and son Martin who both rode speedway...I remember watching Clive when riding for the "Robins".1 point
