Sam is a great signing and don't see him being one of the weaker reserves with Freddie Hodder, Ben Trigger, Luke Harrison, Luke Killeen , Max Perry, Ashton boughen , Ace pijper he will be amongst his peer group all who beat each other on a regular basis .6 points

Still think Chapman and AEPG have agreed some backhanded deal and that is why Chapman won't or can't sell !3 points

Don’t think it’s a good idea to have any mid match. Too chancy for mishaps which could affect the main meeting.3 points

For me the play offs should be a separate competition, finish top of the league then your the league champions as it used to be but then you could have the playoff championship to win a separate trophy. Top four teams again same rules as now but for the playoff trophy. Teams would still be looking to finish in the top four BUT there would be more incentive to fight harder to finish in number one position and win that League Champions Trophy and then do battle with the three other teams all wanting that title of Playoff Champions.3 points

As Poole have been unable to hold the home leg of this playoff surely the trophy should be awarded to Leicester in accordance withe the same principles used by the BSPA to decided the NDL Championship and the Knock Out Cup winner.2 points

I hope Max Perry is ok the accident he has just had was horrific. He was on the track for 1/2 hour and in an ambulance in the pits for 10-15mins being treated and is still there. All medics are with him. From the gates I don’t know if Max clipped a bike or throttle jammed he went in full pelt to the air fence which lifted on impact. Unfortunately he couldn’t clear the bike and it looked like it came down onto him. Credit to Dan Thompson who stayed with him the whole time even helping carry the stretcher. Update: 21:25 ambulance has now left the stadium.2 points

But as the season consists of 16 matches qualifying for GSAs which ars last 20 matches they would have to be below their best all season (excluding play-offs, KOC,BSN)2 points

Talked the talk but couldn't walk the walk!! (He couldn't get on with team mates either)!! Ps. Nor the management!!!!2 points

When Leicester lost at Peterborough on 7 September, their Premiership season was over. No more Premiership meetings. When Leicester Cubs won at Belle Vue on 8 September and defeated Workington at home on 9 September it meant Belle Vue could no longer make the NDL play-off, so the final would be Leicester v Oxford. From that point (9 September) Leicester had to run a play-off final.... 1 meeting.... 52 days to do it in... over 7 weeks..... nearly 2 months of a 7 month season left.... How the hell did they fail?2 points

All matches should have second halves either with NJL action, or equivalent of NDL action. Must be possible to make something like that work. Gives a chance for people who previously wouldn't have gone to an NDL match the chance to see some potential up and coming youngsters.2 points

I agree someone with Brennan’s talent would soon suss out the Poole track. And his away track knowledge would make him a decent signing.1 point

The bates are well truly screwing us over. They are refusing to repair the drainage before they leave the stadium. Mr Cairnes has zero interest in sorting it either and I dont blame him.1 point

Lewi wasn't a fan of the travelling to Glasgow the short spell had with us. Seem to remember an interview maybe last season he said liked Edinburgh just not the journey. But then again beggars can't be choosers and Berwick would be a 2 hour shorter round trip than Edinburgh.1 point

Im not a the stadium but heard perry took a bad fall . Wish him a speedy recovery. Super talented rider1 point

The plan was always going back to Glasgow after a year at Redcar at Championship level. Plans can change though.1 point

Brennan was very good in the playoff final, i think he would really kick on riding the Poole track every week1 point

You’re right, it’ll be both ways. The consortium not sure what they’re buying, and Chapman not sure what he’s selling. Lots of ifs buts and maybes in there so more than likely very difficult and lengthy negotiations.1 point

Its ever since the corners were taken in. Mr Hemsley is fuming with some of the work they've done1 point

I now its Halloween and you all think this is a Treat , but surely its a Trick ? You really think a Global Infrastructures business has paid £40m for the site to stick speedway in there for £2k a week rent on a dozen days a year ???? They will want to build a huge new data centre (after all that's their core business) Sorry I don't see that this is any progress at all. Sad to hear that the only permanent structure at the old Arena, the raceway tavern has been demolished. Thurrock Council are bankrupt and will be only too glad of a big new owner to pay some business rates for the site.1 point

Has to be difficult to price and very complex because Chapman won’t be sure what he’s selling? In his view there’s no chance of racing at the Showground, the fellas in the consortium seem to think otherwise. I guess there’ll be stipulations in the contract that he’s owed extra x y and z if and when they get a stay of execution at the Showground for another year or two and this is what is holding things up? Could be miles off but just a guess.1 point

As ARC Racing are not the leaseholders at Perry Barr (they are tenants of the Corbally Group who ARE the leaseholders), theoretically, another organisation wishing to stage greyhound racing could move in there and take over, which would be the ideal solution for the Brummies? (says he in desperate hopefullness!!!!)1 point

Think it's similar to the "no rider to guest for 2 sides in the play offs" Unwritten agreement and no worth the paper it's written on......1 point

I don’t see rew riding in Uk next season. By all accounts he didn’t like it. and remember he’s at Leszno now in extra liga so that rules him out of Ipswich with you already having Emil and Doyle1 point

The Entain group run the racecourse and Monmore Green. Now I dont know much about gryhound racing but having 2 greyhound tracks in the same city would seem foolish ? I can only assume Entain will try and sell Monmore Green for redevelopment, hence preparing the gound by booting out the speedway. Planning permission granted :- Plans for a new greyhound racing track at Wolverhampton Racecourse have been approved by council bosses. The plans, submitted by owners Arena Racing Company (Arc), show it will be built opposite the grandstand at the Dunstall Park site. "Our aspiration is that [it] can become a landmark venue for greyhound racing," said racing division managing director Mark Spincer. "Greyhound welfare is a hugely important aspect of our business." Arc worked closely with Sports Turf Research Institute on their proposal, and looks forward to working with them, as well as the Greyhound Board of Great Britain, on making sure the facilities meet the highest possible welfare standards. "With many of the facilities already in place, we are confident that it would prove a popular venue with greyhound owners, trainers and fans alike,” Mr Spincer added. Acting on behalf of the company, Matthew Pardoe, director of Moorside Planning said “there are likely to be four greyhound meetings per week – two evenings and two daytimes." "Most meetings are attended by 50 to 100 patrons and the only exception would be a Friday or Saturday evening, when up to 500 people could attend.” Arc is the largest horse and greyhound racing group in the UK, and operates 16 racecourses and five greyhound stadia around the country, as well as a few golf courses and hotels. Popular with fans ? When they expect 50 100 people there in the week. What a joke.1 point

Kyle’s been a great servant for Poole and still got what it takes. He can pop out and take some big scalps when not expected. A shame he doesn’t fit the jigsaw puzzle. Other clubs will be queuing up to sign him no doubt.1 point

Think if we had a choice between Brennan and Rew I would choose Brennan for a couple of reasons. First of all he is British, so Championship comes before Sweden/Denmark/Poland. And we also get 2.5% average reduction which puts the jigsaw together. Brennan seems to have been around for a while now but he is still young and improving. Just needs to get more consistent. Rew certainly has great potential but his eyes seem more set on Poland than U.K. and that’s where his 100% will be given imo. Especially as he has been named as the U21 rider for extraleague club.1 point

I can't see Rowe or Kemp as surely we would've used them last year as rising star. I would go Barker over Hume imo I don't think he'd chuck away as many points as Hume does when he comes under pressure from opposing riders. Unless they punt for another 4 point assessed average man?1 point

Max Perry just going by his attendance at Poole for the last few meetings looks nailed on. From what i saw of Zischke at SoN2 in Latvia he'll need to calm down a bit or could have the issues that Killeen had with random falls1 point

How much does a manager effect a teams fortunes. Cami I'd considered by many to be a poor manager, regularly makes odd heat 15 choices, doesn't put his top 2 at 1+5 (a nit pick of mine) gives his weakest rider an unnecessary 4th ride - but still won the league. Stuart Dickson has a reputation of being a good manager, tactically astute, but his changes made Leicester worse & didn't help Birmingham much. Pete Adams has won many titles, but in recent years Wolves had made the play-offs but then proceed to lose home & away on the semis!1 point

I certainly can't imagine any Mildenhall fan being able to celebrate their KOC "win" in this situation. Even if it's what the rules decree, how can they be proud of their "victory"?1 point

2018 when Workington won the treble in the Championship we raced 3 meetings over the last weekend in October to get the finals finished, the outstanding league meeting was iced off. So the Shambles led by the bspa or whatever they call themselves today has been going on for 5 years and shows no sign of improvement . Maybe this could be top of the list in Tenerife, leagues and play offs MUST be completed by end of September1 point

Sorry to hear Martin Ashby, looking frail, I hope he's ok. A class act. Where was the event held ? There was a Best Western (I think) within walking distance of the stadium , it used to be called The Blunsdon House years ago. Sorry the stadium is no more- it was the first ever ex NL track that I visited-in 1965 the first year of the British League. Anyone have any photos of this event, I wish I could have been there.1 point

The whole idea of the play offs is to build the season to a crescendo and far too often recently it builds to frustration and ultimately chaos without the firm scheduling of Tv contracts to work to. It's time to abandon play offs unfortunately for anything other than the top league where Tv demands it1 point

Would rather have a new foreigner than Barker,,, but we do like to keep regurgitating the same old riders1 point

He certainly gets overlooked compared to the Cook's. Kyle started the season with a higher ave than both Ben & Zach, but they got Prem team places before he did. Ben has since overtaken him, buy Kye still has a higher Champ ave than Zach. Similar thing happened to Pickering, he was overlooked for a Prem spot, long before he got a place. Obviously in the Prem, the Cook's have outscored Kye. Although racing for King's Lynn seems to hinder everyone's scoring?1 point

Not a bad looking team. Personally, would go for Hume at 4 and quite happily have Coles at reserve.1 point
