That looks a long tail , but I suppose every team will have that with the 38 points limit . I have to say , the watered down league doesn't inspire excitement . Can't see me spending fortunes next season going to away meetings . But at least we'll still have Bomber to enjoy watching at Ashfield .4 points

Don’t you think his dad has tried this ? It’s not like a Vauxhall Astra car you know ! It’s a very high spec Mercedes AB race van with a high security locking system to stop people breaking in. Maybe give him a call if you think it’s easy ? They are speaking directly to Mercedes and locksmith’s to solve the issue. They are having the whole electronic key system replaced today at a considerable expense so hopefully they will be able to race at the weekend. The only other option is to cut the doors off. I don’t know why people like yourself like having little digs at a 16 year old lad ? When you obviously don’t know what extremes they are going to, to get it fixed I just wish people like you would speak to his dad (very nice guy) instead of putting crap on here you know nothing about.3 points

Boris put a message on a bus saying how much better off we'd be if we left the EU and a lot of people bought that!!3 points

Spot on Cheese .. The thing that makes me laugh or cry .. Who has ever heard of someone putting you out of business and making your asset virtually worthless but then setting up a company the next day with the same people . its just insane . Swindon Fans don't want Osboune or Russell running the club or the ones looking or not looking in there case for a new site . Russell needs the Licence taken off him with immediate effect .2 points

what if there's a fine for not running it? would that be fair on Poole with Leicester not having a home leg?2 points

Glasgow have put a big deal together to get Cook can't really blame him for making the move..Big blow for Poole thou2 points

Well thats no good at all. Expecting fans to pay and turn up to see a bang average foreigner not try hard cos he isnt fit. Another reason fans stay away. The day that clubs and promotions rule the roost rather than riders, especially mediocre foreign riders, is the day the sport may start heading upwards rather than down the sewer.2 points

Heard off a VERY reliable source here in Aussie this week that Lawson is off to Edinburgh and B. Cook is off to Glasgow as second heatleader. May be a rumour but doubtful going by the person who told me.2 points

Chris Holder for Tobi and Dan Gilkes for Ashton Boughen and think that’s our 2024 line up providing no curve balls at the conference next month2 points

Maybe should have typed this in bold... A true font of knowledge and someone who truly lived through the halcyon days of the sport and covered it too... Always good value on here to get a debate going, and often, stirred up..! RIP John...2 points

Didn't have many issues as I remember in his first spell. If hadn't broken his wrists in British final think would've won league that season1 point

Victim of his own success to an extent? Made excellent progress in his first two seasons which increased expectations, but didn’t progress as I’m sure he’d have hoped to this season. Away GSA of 5.06 (lower than Paco and Lasse) speaks volumes. I’d just left by time Campbell gave his speech after the last meeting, but many described it as being ‘very harsh’ on the team. You’d think the promotion aren’t planning on having too many back next season, and maybe they feel Kye didn’t do enough to warrant a place. Or, maybe, their plan is to try and build a team that can win home matches again, and think he is a good fit for that. Who knows! A really nice, likeable guy and would wish him all the best, including securing a spot elsewhere, if not returning.1 point

Steve Worrall has a lower average than Bomber so won’t be number 1 Steve. Hearing It’s Worrall’s ambition to ride for a bigger club like Glasgow though, and who can blame him. Just saying. How long did it take you to count the crowd on a live stream.1 point

Could swap Bastian and Jacob around... Just put Bastian at reserve to get that stronger rider there for the start of the season... I'm sure Bastian and Jacob would quickly swap roles and Hook would be at 6...1 point

Seen a whole lot anger about cook possibly leaving but not a word about the mention of Lawson to Edinburgh... Interesting1 point

4 leaving, 3 staying, remaining 4 already signed. Bailey likely to be Redcar and not Workington as he wants to ride in Poland which would clash with Workington riding on a Sunday1 point

I do love it when the "I know more than you do " brigade show up. My assumption would be with the Riders that are leaving announced, that Bomber, Complin and Ace are most probably staying. The trick will be to get a strong 5 in probably around the 8 mark so it doesn't take a genius to work out that it's coming from the batch of ........ King,Worral,Kerr, cook,Lawson,Nichols, howarth or Wright. I would also assume by taking one of those at 5 to get a heat leader at 3 would be between 5.5 and 6.5, leaving two riders in the 4's - 5's to fill the second strings. Watching what other teams are doing helps you narrow everything down.1 point

The 5 include nowak and tarasenko I believe. Who took one place in the 7. So would be Ben, Tom, claus, nowak and tarasenko being the 51 point

You really are a keyboard numpty ! his equipment is locked in the back of his van has dead locks on it ! What do you want him to do cut the doors off his van ! Why would he want to miss it when he had a bloody good chance of winning it ?1 point

Yeah…..and don’t see why Marko thinks it will make a difference to our enjoyment of winning.1 point

You would have thought it wasn't too difficult to suss out wouldn't you? Whilst the licence remains with that git Russell, we aren't going to move forward. First job is to get him away from any association with Swindon Speedway and kill off the fake Swindon Motorsports sham.1 point

The first thing that should happen if Swindon has any chance is removing the licence from wideboy Russell. Has no intention of bringing speedway back & is clearly working with Osbourne to stop it. Does the BSPA have the bottle & courage to do that? No, they'll just continue to bury their heads in the sand & see clubs just dwindle away. You only had to watch the planning inquiry regarding Brandon to see the real views of Osbourne & that smarmy wally Gareth Hooper. As soon as anyone at the BSPA saw that then the licence at Swindon should have been removed from Russell.1 point

Based on what I've seen 1. Emil, an absolute class act everywhere he has gone, he is a fair rider and finds speeds nobody else can match In British speedway. 2. Douglas, had a great season and always a stand out rider whenever I have seen wolves this year 3. Pickering, after a bad injury start of the season he joined Sheffield and in my view was the rider of the play offs. 4. Lidsey, bit of an unknown start of year looked a class act and impressed in the World Cup. 5. Musielak, exciting rider who was held his own as number 1 at times for Sheffield. Would of won the final more comfortably with him in the team 6. Ben cook, enjoyed watching his style on the bike, didn’t expect much but he impressed in a weak team for much of the year. 7. Bailey, looks a future gp rider. Attacks the track and will be a big asset for BV next year1 point
