How can you exploit a rule if it’s a rule ?. Surely you are following the rules if it’s a rule rather than exploiting it.8 points

There was me thinking Robert replaced a rider who's season had been finished by injury. To be fair the rule which determines Tarasenko's average is complete bobbins. However the idea that Glasgow will now waltz to the title is daft, he will make them stronger but their shortcomings are still present. It now makes it a three horse race rather than two. And I'd be surprised if they've had to break the bank to get him to ride....he's over here with bikes and a workshop etc already, his racing abroad is now finished and he's probably grateful for the extra meetings.7 points

Give it a rest. Your posts are pathetic. If you don't like what she's saying, either ignore her or respond to what she's actually saying. Resorting to petty insults like this (and the posts before) makes you look like the one struggling on the brain cell front.7 points

Anyway , getting away from all the nastiness for a moment . Poole are the best team in the league , that isn't in doubt , year after year they get the team building just about right . So to score 37 points on the best team in the league's home track is nothing to be ashamed of . We are what we are , probably the third best team in the league, which I can live with . If we do get permission to use old Paddy Wobblytoe to replace Marcin , then who knows how interesting that might make the play offs . But as things stand at the moment , you can't see past Poole winning everything again . Right back to the name-calling again7 points

He was looking at it but saw they were at Armadale tomorrow and has went missing again.6 points

Think there will be a new rule for next season to prevent this happening again, fair play to Glasgow for finding a loophole, makes a change for us to manipulate the rules6 points

Wow the vitriol on here has sunk to a new low!! Anyway it was great to see Darcy Ward and family getting involved again with the evening's entertainment to the loud applause of a large crowd. I hope young Pijper is OK. It took the medical team some time to ensure he was all right! I was however more than a little surprised that the team manager didn't go across to him on the track. In fact only one Glasgow rider came out to him and that was to retrieve his bike! Anyway, I'm all for a bit of fan banter on any thread but let's keep it reasonably polite and about the topic rather than the posters. COYP.6 points

Correct , our new boy is a class above the British journeyman heat leader . Dont you just love a good old fashioned speedway rulebook loophole, I know i do . Will we order in the bunting now or do the decent thing and wait till after the play offs ?5 points
-
Did you even read the match report? He forked out for a new engine resulting in his upturn in form, that was blown to bits in heat one. You've said nothing during his good meetings and now back to this vitriolic crap after one bad match. Give it a by, absolutely pathetic5 points

No issue with Glasgow making a signing the rules allow them to make but this is beyond the pale in terms of ridiculousness. The bloke has the same assessed average in both leagues. Stupid. British Speedway strikes again.4 points

People talk about a village being missing an idiot, Poole must have an electric fence to keep them in.4 points

this rule that riders with assessed 5 ave would be ok for both leagues until rider got proper ave was approved at last years AGM so no club can say they never new about it4 points

This is beautiful Poole fans all up in arms because another side have the foresight to make a good change Poole speedway the team who have cheated and bent the rules over the years complaining when another team acts within the rules Lovely to see the Poole mob crying4 points

Ridiculous that Tarasenko has the same 5 average in both Premier and Championship. There’s really no doubt whatsoever that Glasgow with this signing will win the Championship this season. They won’t need decent reserves as the top 5 will be overpowering. It’s a signing similar to Lambert coming into BV last season to win the playoffs for them. But if it is within the rules, then so be it.4 points

The rules are stupid, can't blame Glasgow for taking advantage of them though. If any promoter complains, I'd simply reply, "why didn't you bring it up at the AGM"?4 points

Tarasenko 5.00 (until Monday when he goes up to 9.67) is a straight swap for Nowak (5.42) Perfectly legal. Now what does that say about the rules?4 points

Really ! You seem to have a grudge against Lisa Collette, by all means criticize the post but leave out the personal insults, she is just supporting her team4 points

Cheque book out for extraliga rider. The rule is so stupid and shouldn’t really be allowed but it is and can’t blame them for taking advantage of it. However nobody else could really afford to pay their team plus this calibre of rider at the same time.3 points

A pulled shoulder eh Be interesting to see if the rumoured changes do happen. If so it will be obvious this was more pull the other one/pull the wool over our eyes/pull our plonkers* *delete as desired3 points

To be honest, we’ve been discussing that very rule for the last few days on here, so it’s not a surprise to us, even if signing Tarasenko specifically is. Let’s not pretend all the Championship clubs didn’t realise the rule is there. But now it’s been used, they might use their common sense to change the rule for next year.3 points

He doesn't have to ride in it, if he doesn't want to. It's not a team meeting, as such, so can't be "done" for withholding his services. Might be a pain in the rectum area for the fans, but it's not the first time and certainly won't be the last time it's happened at these types of meetings. We are kind of getting used to it now (doesn't make it right though).3 points

Ashton is still being outscored in the NDL by Ryan Kinsley, Jack Smith, Joe Thompson and (before he retired) Kyle Bickley. He is an enormous talent but don't forget Dan Bewley only scored 10 points in his first nine Championship level fixtures. Don't expect too much of him too soon. It will be a valuable learning experience for him, but any points he scores will be a bonus.3 points

More and more riders seem to book family holidays during British League season.Wonder how many would do that in Poland and tell their club they are unavailable for a fixture.3 points
-
Its speedway not football. Surely we as a group of supporters should be better than resorting to name calling when our opinion differs from somebody else's . The jealousy that Poole got aimed at them in the top league has now transferred down to the Championship .Suppose that's the price you pay for being the most successful team3 points

Looking at these arguments from a neutral point of view, Glasgow fans seem pretty quick to make quips about some of the Poole fans' intelligence, yet they are the ones that keep biting at the Poole fans' comments. Surely it's obvious they are only doing it to annoy Glasgow? Come on, ignore it and move on and the forum will soon become a much happier place. That said, some of the stuff from the likes of Pinny is just deplorable.3 points
-
Again with the insults. Have you noticed I don't call any of you lot names and can still debate the point. Maybe one day you and Gaz will grow the hell up and try it. Bunch of children the both of you. But back to the point, no reason another Glasgow rider couldn't sort it for him whilst he was getting ready or do they not work as a team?3 points

I've been going to Poole for the best part of 30 years, I've never seen anything like that I sit in the grandstand plenty of families and people of all ages around enjoying there evening, I've been to most tracks around the country and don't find Poole fans any different to all the other teams fans. There are might be 1 or 2 incidents that happen but it happens everywhere.3 points

As I said before "give us peace!" It's like listening to a very old jukebox that's only got one record and it's even cracked.3 points

Someone mentioned the "wrath of the Grandstand" and Vissing? Would that be the Grandstand full of foul mouth unwelcoming 70+ men and women who welcome Away Supporters who just happen to sit in an UNRESERVED empty Seat who arrive a good 30 mins after you have innocently sat down with.. "Get out of my ******* seat" "I'll get the Steward to smack your face" "**** off back to the Midlands you Brummie ***t Who spit at you, shout at you, make the whole experience of visiting Poole Speedway an absolute nightmare. Bullying and intimidation, par excellence. Having travelled to many of the most unwelcoming football grounds in the UK and some in Europe, hand on heart, the vitriol and abuse directed at anyone not part of the gereatric disgusting cabal that meet and hunt there is perfectly summed up by some of the same dished out to anyone who dares challenging the bullying trolls who frequent this forum. Contrast that with almost every other Track in the UK where you can have fun banter, receive a warm welcome and actually feel valued and want to go back! I'll await the usual suspension as one of the Poole trolls contacts the mods.....frankly do I give a s*** .....er nope!3 points

Don't label all Poole fans as numbskulls I certainly aint one.Supported Poole all my life just because they win a lot of trophies makes people envious.I would love to have all teams equal and all having a chance of winning the league but that ain't possible I wish it was.How lop sided this league has been this year 4 teams cast adrift that's no good for the long term speedway. No clowns at Wimborne Road if all clubs had owners like the Ford's how exciting the league would be just remind me when did Ipswich win a league title yes 1998.The way teams are folding with Peterborough and Wolverhampton closing we'll be lucky to have a league next year let's hope we have and as for digging people out like you have and I don't know you and you may be a nice person just remember and I may be wrong but didn't Starman has some serious health issues be lucky you don't walk in their shoes or maybe you have3 points

In the interests of fairness after previous comments I'll say track was pretty good last night. A few decent heats with and without passing2 points

If anything it’s been the opposite. More than once they’ve had to work on the track this season to try and slicken it off and make it easier to ride. Still say we’ve produced the race of the season this year in the Premiership! That heat 13 against Sheffield literally took my breath away. Looked good on the telly box, but watching it live in the back straight stand was something else.2 points
