You really have a self entitled attitude as have a few off your self entitled fellow fans. Oxford do what is best for Oxford it’s as simple as that , not what can we do to get one over Poole. The arrogance really is why other fans can’t stand Poole or some of there fans.11 points

No it wasn't. It was started as a 'rumour' at Armadale by an Edinburgh fan. Heard by a Workington fan who repeated it on here. Then the buying the league brigade chipped in - anything to have a go at Glasgow - and now it's proved to be a load of manure, like most things coming from the east- they've moved onto conspiracy theories about Marcin, despite a detailed post by his mechanic explaining the facts.6 points

What like the Poo Pirates do every year Maybe as the self proclaimed biggest club in Britain you shouldve gazumped everyone and signed him to replace Adam Roynon6 points

Poole infestation of thread about a promising young rider signing for Oxford. Really can't help themselves4 points

Last night was my first visit to Wimborne Road for 2 years and the track was much, much better than the last time I went. Josh was riding on the edge of the dirt and pulling out big strides, proving it's not a one line track and that passing is possible. A few getting caught out going too far into the deep stuff though. Although the scoreline was a bit one sided, Josh, Kye, & Paco gave it a good go, so it wasn't the bore fest that the scoreline suggests. More Sunday fixtures please! Or Friday4 points

I'd have said it's common sense to have teams with Danish riders in visiting during the Danish break and those without when Danish fixtures are on. Its only 8 home league meetings FFS, it shouldn't be hard. Many people are fed up to the back teeth of missing riders who aren't injured, it needs sorting.4 points

Why? I don’t get how Jenkins being withdrawn tonight makes any difference to Boughen/Killeen. Can you explain?3 points

The used car salesman is here tonight, I can see the floodlights glinting off his teeth at T13 points

I think it’s obvious why Oxford have signed Boughen isn’t it? Because they want the best possible team they can get. I’m sure any team with a 2pt rider in their line-up was desperate to sign him. Are Oxford supposed to let the opportunity of him riding for them pass by simply because they are already doing well? This is not a case of a rider underperforming being replaced, it’s a case of an exceptional talent becoming available.3 points

Funny that, they have went quiet, thought moneybags Glasgow can get whoever they want, when in fact Glasgow don't pay over the odds3 points

Imagine being top and still changing the team because you are worried about everyone else.3 points

I'm not sure it does, when was the last time an 8+ heat leader couldn't get a team spot because his average was too high? I'd say it allows his team to be stronger (gets extra matches). For riders on 4-6 point averages, I can totally see how it would help them get a team spot the following season.3 points

Hi Mike , thanks for tuning in! Sorry I'm not your cup of tea. I do know i can be a marmite kind of person and i can be excitable, mainly due to the passion i have for speedway and trying my bit to make speedy more theatrical to make a show and not forgetting i often tell crap jokes. But like every comedian some people hate it but more love it as i regularly get messages asking when I'm on. Despite weather you like me or not. I do have a great repour with a lot of the riders which usually equals some great interviews from the riders getting all the insights as a few have said they find it easy to talk to me. I hope you can warm to me in the future, you'll be glad to know I'm not on for a few weeks. Thanks again for supporting BSN Paul3 points

Masters, Steve Worrall, Pickering are riding in Poland, Barker out injured Kerr, Allen, Flint and Richie Worrall are in as replacements3 points

Enlighten me where it was openly expressed that Laguta had walked away - perhaps had it been there may have been some understanding And even had he (which he likely had) it wasn't suitable reason to call off whatever the lack of replacements may have been3 points

Marcin maybe one league match left but then they have playoffs another 4/6 meetings which will all be on a Saturdays for polish tv, he also has got to be there on a Friday for team practice before meetings, even, if he was allowed to miss practice to ride for tigers he would have to get back to Poland early Saturday morning and only flight he can get was from Stanstead at 5.45 travelling down through the night for flight then a few hours drive to tracks is not the best preparation for a team captain whose team is looking for promotion which brings along with it great money to the rider and his club in Poland is his bread and butter so it was a no brainier for him and was a very hard decision to make he has said he only came here to make him a better rider and has said it has helped him good luck to him and his polish team3 points

I'm afraid this sums up this forum - Cardiff is usually the best chance that Speedway has for mainstream coverage and publicity. The city becomes a speedway centre for at least a day and people who attend seem to enjoy themselves. Yet, here on the forum, we get 'speedway fans' who can only get joy out of the fact that it might be a failure! 'Only 7500 tickets sold, blue-light tickets to fill the stadium, must be the last one etc etc' - if you're not interested in Cardiff, don't go and don't sit by your keyboard and take your little pot shots, hoping for failure. Start a new forum for just slagging off the sport and congratulate each other on your success if things don't go to plan - just keep it away from here and let's enjoy some positivity. I hope those who are moved to a more expensive area, enjoy it more. I hope that the cameras make the place look packed. I hope some free ticketholders take a new interest in the sport and I hope everyone that goes has a great day of racing and a good time in Cardiff. The demise of the Cardiff weekend has been predicted before - but here we go again.3 points

Was just about to say the same - Emil does the same of course! That said re the pronunciation thing surely a bit of prep and asking the rider so how do you pronounce your name might be in order - Polish isn’t an easy language for us in the U.K. but writing it out phonetically would be a start - I was most surprised to see that Łódź is pronounced ‘wuj’ and I actually only learned that from a travel Tv show!2 points

Surely they will be doing the maths in Sheffield tomorrow morning to try fit Woffinden Holder and Musielak into a side?2 points

The club should have invited some of the council and aepg to watch this tonight! That was some of the best speedway I’ve seen in a long time. This city needs speedway2 points

Well done Panthers very much so deserved. Tai outstanding and not a surprise the best racing was involving him. Rest of team should hang their heads in shame to be honest not good enough out the gate2 points

In conners statement he was having a 21st birthday celebration, also a full time apprentice with allied vehicles/Ford, and lives in Glasgow, as British U21 champion maybe he should have been 1st replacement when the seeded riders started to drop like flies2 points

You really don’t know what you’re talking about. he has not got new equipment they are Jordan Jenkins old engines. I guess you are one of the people spreading rumours that he was on GP tuned engines, the boy can ride any bike he was just as good at motorcross. Hence the reason he was racing at world youth level. He is the most laid back kid I know yes his dad has spent money on him but then so has a lot of parents over the years. If your son is talented like Ashton is I’m sure most parents would do the same. Maybe people should get behind him as this boy is certainly special.2 points

Only Leicester riders to choose from , aren't they allowed to cancel now as it involves a Chapman team in the fixture2 points

He has two bad meetings scores 3 and 4 I think and they immediately got their feathers ruffled at Rzeseow. Their in the top spot for the playoffs and Marcin is their number 1. The financial benefit from going one league up is supposedly incredible so they want every tool at their disposal to give it there best shot. Marcin has been quoted the reason he was here was to improve his riding skills which he has most definitely done, but it's crap that we lose him at what is the pinnacle point of our season too.2 points

Really hope he's back on these shores again next year. Every time I've seen him he seems to get better. Great style and so much speed. Still a bit surprised he isn't in the top league in Poland Commentators curse there as he's now down as R/R after getting injured in Poland!2 points

With only 5 Danes spread across 3 teams in the original declared line-ups not difficult to do. And it's really 4 Danes in two teams (Glasgow/Berwick) because Toft doesn't often ride in Denmark (6 DSL matches in last 5 years)2 points

Klindt is an enormous miss at the NSS and this is obviously going to be a bit of a hiding but as long as everyone rides like S Lambert did last Monday and gives it their all then we can't ask any more. Would be nice if Robert could get the better of Dan across their three clashes too!2 points

So now we all know the real reason behind the decision there will be no more speedway at Monmore Green after this season. The Council have announced plans to demolish the next door wholesale market and build a new far larger facility that will include a new mixed use complex to incorporate vehicle fleet services, new market, meals on wheels operartion, salt storage with new electric vehicles, street sign opereration and office space to control all these facilities...... So this was the devious plan all along between Entain and Wolverhampton City Council to end a near 100 year reign to bring an end to Wolves speedway at their present home. Bare faced lies from Entain about needing a new track for Premier greyhound racing, and the council for saying they'll do all they can for Entain to change their mind and let speedway continue at the Green. Both organisations lying scumbags.2 points
