What a brilliant match last night. Hard, spectacular racing and a great atmosphere. Loved it.9 points

When a meeting take's this long to complete it makes me think that the authorities should appoint a Race Director to speed thing up?6 points

If the CL teams make up the majority then if common sense prevails the status quo will prevail and if it means GP or foreign riders electing not to ride in the UK then so be it.5 points

Billy is my son and he has been at Glasgow for couple of years now and absolutely loves it, it’s 4 hours each way but the support we have from club and others is amazing, thanks for positive vibes4 points

So we're happy for top foreigners to start making a return to our shores, but when Woffy shows some intent on returning, we say he's not worthy. Think on people, we don't have too many top riders on which we can pin a Union Flag. Woffy is doing a bloody good job for Sheffield and there is a very good chance he will be riding here full time next year. He's still box office and I for one want to see him up against Dan and all the others, competing for the British Championship. If you don't agree, don't tune in.4 points

Doesn't deserve a place Has shunned British Speedway and the British Final for many years He can't expect to and should not be be prioritised over the next on the list as it stood before his return4 points

Absolute guff. Supporters are getting restless, what’s left of them. Track was awful, I’ve not had so much dust on me since I was a regular at Rye House. Dunno what’s up with Leon, shocking performance. Gonna give it a miss next week, it’ll be carnage, besides, there’s a couple of tasty looking Premier League matches on Sky on Saturday evening.3 points

Never noticed it last night at the track Kyle Howarth could have shut the door on Ben more than once , credit to him though always left him enough racing room and trusted his own ability and speed. Well done Kyle Howarth wish there were more like him.3 points

Yes I did. stood on the back straight. Great view from there. There were a couple of great races. Bomber was good value and Basso was just so much faster than anyone else. Top 3 for Plymouth battled hard. As a neutral wished ref didn’t stop heat 2 to warn Complin with Plymouth on a 5-1 would have made it closer. Once Glasgow got the 5-1 in the rerun it was always going to be a Tigers win. Stayed for the second half too. Billy Budd looked promising. Surprised the gate onto the track doesn’t have air fence panel on it. The air fence stops very quickly on bend 2. Enjoyed the song too and the mascot race. Must have been over 50 kids in it!,,3 points

the start marshal should have a 10cm ruler and put it in front of each riders wheel to the tapes, then chain each riders neck then if they move some one should yank it .3 points

Because he is the Race Director and has to communicate with others, when the “others” are not in his immediate vicinity the Mike system helps. I think he does a good job. He has a voice of authority and others jump when he issues an instruction or info …… ie 2 minute warning, riders move when they here that.3 points

It's nothing to do with "wanting to be the centre of attention". He's doing his job, and if the cameras want to film him, oh well...3 points

And most importantly Marcin's won his last 3 heat 8's Vs Worral and Anders X2. He's improving week on week.3 points

But didn’t Richie Worrall come off the track shaking his head when he had his practice laps?3 points

Absolutely pathetic by Worrall, he's become a right whinger recently. He's simply not good enough so he's quit.3 points

Should change your name to Tiger59. Nothing but a glory hunter. A real fan would support their team, through good and bad, not just when we’re winning. Go, and voice your opinion, talk to the promotion, one day you’ll miss this great club.2 points

Most GP is boring. What isn't boring according to You? A Brit winning and You wouldn't mention boringness?2 points

Give it to Richie Worrall he would have won it if it had been anywhere but the NSS2 points

What was Woffy doing starting so far back? Was always going to roll..2 points
-
Exactly he would be nowhere near the title no matter how many rounds were held. Never heard riders moaning about it being at Coventry every year, was always a great meeting there but look at the differnce in quality compared to today.2 points

It isn't going to be that revealing. I even doubt he'll release anything at all, was just frustrated & letting off steam.2 points

Now Berwick have changed to Lambert guesting, shows the benefits of those in authority reading the forum to spot errors made. No reason why they shouldn't read them, pick the best ideas & ignore everything else!2 points

Yes I have seen it too, how Adam got excluded is crazy, Dayle Wood is a liability.2 points

It’s the engine he rides week in week out that’s in it which is the main issue. Like every rider they’ve all got their favoured engine.2 points

Don't think so... Plymouth had a top heavy team at Glasgow last night Worrall, Barker, Howarth, then nothing, racing was excellent!2 points

Was listening to him on the podcast a week or so ago and a couple of times he described himself as a "Winner"... could have been Whinger though I suppose and I mis-heard Love him or hate him, he certainly put many more bums on Sheffield seats last Thursday and there was a real buzz about the place2 points

You never know if women's speedway caught on it may even make the BBC TV schedules considering we have women's football, rugby league, cricket, netball and golf getting extensive coverage?2 points

I read somewhere that the current lease expires in 2026. So what Corbally are basically saying is that what they want to do after 2026 is to build houses. And they want to start the planning process now so that the pieces of the jigsaw are ready to put together when the lease runs out. And on their heads be it. Planning permission still needs to be granted. They can submit all the lovely plans that they want, but if permission isn't granted, then the plans go nowhere. There are 8 or 9 huge plots of land in that area (e.g. Wellhead Lane) ready to build on right now, that require no demolition at all, and my feeling is that the Planners would want these to be used up before any other land is repurposed. Let's hope that the planners take inspiration from Rugby Borough Council in standing up to property speculators. But as with all things political, I'm not holding my breath.2 points

Don't remember anyone crying out for a national stadium They only named Belle Vue The National Stadium to get planning permision and grants, otherwise the BSPL would be running it.2 points

Really entertaining meeting. BSN really can put together a package that is far superior to anything Eurosport has ever produced. Great interviews as well with a real scoop from the very amusing Richie Worrall.2 points

Irrelevant in speedway as men and women compete on equal terms. So if a transgender woman did ride it wouldn't be an issue. Personally, because of that, I don't really see the point of having woman only events. It just comes across to me as a gimmick. I know that Sophia Floersch, the first woman to ever score points in Formula 3 car racing, was very much against the woman's car racing championship and decided not to compete in it as she felt it was a backward step and limited the progression of women in the sport. There is also Ana Curasco, who rides in Moto GP3, and Celina Liebman, who has ridden in SGP2, who are competitive in their sports racing against men, so why restrict them to female-only racing?2 points

I think you should all read Matt Bates report. With 2 ref's declaring the track fit, the main instigator being a Berick rider influencing the rest causing the meeting to be postponed Berwick were withholding their service's, in that case they should be fined and should also forfeit the points with Plymouth getting them. If the rider concerned has lost his bottle mayba he should have stayed retired. It is extremely unfair to blame Plymouth when it was all brought about by Berwick2 points
