Fantastic meeting. It's a long time since a speedway meeting has had my heart pounding like that. Bloody Poland.12 points

I'm sure I read was booked last year when wasn't a Glasgow rider and was to coincide with world cup when shouldn't be any fixtures. This is a rearranged fixture and the club knew about the wedding but chose to go ahead anyway. I don't really think any blame to Lee here not putting club first9 points

I blame Fricke. Should have let Lambert through. Remember Max, if your grandad hadn't been a villain you'd be British too.8 points

Everyone expecting us to come last and we lost on the last heat We can be proud of the lads so let’s not beat up certain riders7 points

NOBODY LET US DOWN It is disappointing to come so close and not win, so how about some praise for the guys for taking it to the wire.6 points

Wanted to see a great meeting. Seen a great meeting That's what speedway should be Best meeting I have seen in years6 points

Scott has announced on social media that his Mum died yesterday morning. For those that wanted to believe the worst of Scott it’s clear they don’t know the man behind the rider. Just because he’s a rider it doesn’t mean that they don’t have the same issues we all do/have had in our private lives. Be kind you never know what the person you are talking or writing about are going through just as they don’t know what you are going through. Condolences to Scott and family at this difficult time.6 points

I’ve always thought you were a bit of a cöck But I’ve realised actually you’re a lot of a cöck.5 points

Because he's the 4th best Brit in the Polish leagues! Besides what other Brit would beat GP calibre riders?5 points

I think he's found his level, NL heat leader & 2.00 Champ rider. No reason for him to quit though, if he enjoys racing & can afford to do so & clubs are willing to sign him, why quit?5 points

And another thing. Why Mr Jamie Courtney are Berwick even thinking of using Jack Killeen v Redcar. Using Berwick Speedway as guinea pigs for your other team Oxford . Beginning to see where your priorities are this season!5 points

A fantastic nights Speedway.. Let's be honest... If GB had won it would make sod all difference to GB speedway as those who run it are clueless in promoting the achievement. . So let's just celebrate the fact we have 3 World Class riders....4 points

It was a really exciting meeting. Some great racing. And we nearly did it. Analyse the arse of it if you will, but we gave the Poles a really good run for their money on their home turf. And we eclipsed the Danes and the Ozzies.4 points

I'm absolutely gutted but Dan and Robert were an absolute credit, we could never have dreamed of taking the Poles so close in Poland in the past4 points
-
Fair play... A million miles from where we were... When Silver is a dissapointment you know how much we have moved forward... Personally, we should have used Dan earlier and put the Poles under pressure, as they often cannot handle it, especially in front of their home crowd... Well dome lads... And great for Magic after the SON in Manchester...4 points

I'm not surprised, it's a very tough meeting, which is why Ellis needs all the credit for his 3 points4 points

Should have put Richard Lawson in... Or Steve Worrall... Or Ben Cook (could we do that?) Not sure.. Or any other Championship HL"s (a world away from proper speedway by the way)... Danny King!!!! (Last year obviously)... Youth Hosteling with Chris Eubank.. Monkey Tennis!!!! .4 points

We need to allow the 50% loss of skill and ability the instant they put on the Brummies bib.4 points

Thoroughly enjoyed that, fantastic speedway meeting that had a bit of everything. I don't think the GB boys can be faulted at all really, they gave everything and pushed the Poles right to the limit in their own back yard. Bloody Max Fricke though! One or two people embarrassing themselves on here tonight, let's give them the benefit of the doubt and say that their accounts are parodies. They just have to be. As has been said the event needs two or three venues next year, not just one.3 points

World Cup final is always a great meeting, the 4TT format is fantastic when you have the top riders giving it everything. Something needs to be done about the semi finals though...3 points

Wow! You have to hand it to MAGIC Janowski tonight, redemption for the SoN in 2021. Danes did well to come back from a disastrous start Aussies unlucky with Jack Holder Brits 1 rider short of an easy victory Now for Leicester vs Ipswich on Monday3 points

So close, obv bit disappointed but GB had the Poles worried. In their own back yard. That takes some doing....3 points

All our lads did their best. We were edged out. No one to blame, just came up short. Well done GB I say.3 points

Woffinden & Lambert let us down in the end. Lambert & his curb crawling is really starting to grate. So angry, should never have thrown that away, absolutely never3 points

Such a shame. So close. Easy to target Brennan and Ellis but Woffinden let us down3 points

We are lacking that fourth rider to support the top 3, dont think we could have picked anyone else who could really mix it in this company so blooding a young rider for the future makes sense in the circumstances.3 points

No offence at Brennan but we could have had a fast gating Richard Lawson in there. It’s the TeamGB managers that could cost us.3 points

Exactly, I do think ppl get hung up on the name development they should really drop that and go bk to national league which it really is.3 points

A mixture of both which is exactly what you’re after. Experienced guys who are there to assist the next generation.3 points

I feel sorry for Adam and Tom. The two riders in the team who are not GP or even extraleague riders, on a track they’ve only ridden once, with different engines / mechanics… and taken out of what should be “easier” heats. obviously I hope they score and score well but can’t help thinking they’re being set up to fail . if you thought the vitriol on here was bad before now, just wait till afterwards.3 points

Nice try, but the games up, but it was a nice try all the same.3 points

Someone should probably tell him that then, because he has no knowledge of this as of 8am 29/07.3 points

Some great racing as usual.Very difficult track to defend a lead.Need to be brave.3 points

Connor Bailey is stepping it up now.Luke Harrison a great signing.Just need to get Riss going.3 points

Redcar’s performance matched the away support - bang average. As for the Bandits, well what can I say - even without our two star men we still managed to keep Shielfield a fortress. Can you imagine if we had a fully fit Rory and TJ tonight? I certainly would’ve fancied us for the bonus point!2 points

Uk still beating Poland. Not seen Woffy ride like this for some time…. He wants Gold2 points

You''re advocating giving away Brennan and Ellis's easiest rides to Bewley, and throwing away the other Brennan/Ellis rides ? That seems totally backwards. If we're going to win we need Bewley, Lambert and Woffinden winning off any gate and then giving the best opportunity to Brennan/Ellis to pick up points in the other. You really want to give our best rider the best gates and easiest rides, and then throw our weakest riders to the wolves for no points?2 points
