It really has just become boring hasnt it… no characters in it anymore like a Crump or Pedersen

Really struck me tonight how the intensity of the GP days of Gollob, Crump, Pedersen etc has completely disappeared with this lot.

Not getting into politics cos I find it seriously boring but from a speedway point of view this series seriously misses Artem and Emil

In FIM TRACK RACING APPENDICES 2023, under 1., last paragraph "Actions judged by the officials responsible to be contrary to the FIM regulations - or judged to be unsportsmanlike or against the best interests of the sport at the event in question - are subject to disciplinary actions as provided for by the arbitration and disciplinary code" Perhaps, it's time to hold Doyle accountable for real? Then maybe he will get the message?

Utterly dire GP on what is meant to be a decent race track. Only decent race was the final but Zmarzlik just hasn’t got any real opposition. Turn the clock back 10-15 years ago and the event was far more competitive. Today it’s who can stop Zmarzlik, and the answer is no one. Especially as it’s so Polish based and raced on a tr5ck Zmarzlik knows like the back of his hands. Utterly, utterly boring to be honest and a real shame. I have always looked forwards to the GP series but frankly it’s hardly worth the time.

I don’t think that’s the case. A winning team is great, but Workington’s return certainly won’t count for nothing if they don’t make the playoffs. What they’ve done has been amazing. Just look at Oxford last year, it wasn’t a winning team and it was a huge success….and they built on that for this season.

At least you we’re polite. I would have rhymed off the full list off there failings and then declined.

Just looking at the fixture lists and seeing most teams have periods of inactivity for several weeks I can't but wonder how the ruling bodies can get it so wrong. Come the business and rainy end what's the chances teams are going to be struggling for dates yet again? Total mismanagement and financially clubs much be taking considerable hits. IMO we must go to a single league and ensure fans get weekly racing or fans will find other (cheaper) forms of entertainment. Changes are needed now

6 of the 7 Redcar Bears race in the top tier. Are you interested in watching them this season in the second tier? If so, and Redcar moved up and used these 6 riders in the top tier, why would you not be interested in watching them? And, with the addition of one heat leader, those 6 would pretty much be a top tier team anyway. Certainly, my having seen Charles Wright for example at both Redcar and Belle Vue this season, I'd hardly describe watching him at the NSS as a rubbish show.

Poole need to stay well away from the prem, i would have preferred Belle Vue to go Championship, more variety and it actually resembles a league, and the same riders with the exception of a handful.

That is absolutely gutting for Joe. He has had a terrible season with the way he’s been treated by clubs and now this. Kid can’t catch a break.

You seem to have it in for Garry May, just how much do you class as a tidy sum,how do you know he gets paid and who told you? Garry is very popular with the Plymouth fans gets on well with Mark and doesn't get paid anything more than a mars bar after the meeting, Garry has put some ££towards sponsorship aswell. He's not in the same league as Laurence Rogers when it comes to bleeding clubs dry i suggest you get your own house in order rather than talking bull**** about something you have no knowledge of.

All seem happy to be on the gravy train.. Winning is a "nice to do, optional extra". Bartek is a generational talent but having it made so easy with riders quite content to play second fiddle...

Trick didn’t make up the rules. But he was a more complete speedway rider than Zmarzlik has currently shown. And he won all those titles when the opposition was far, far tougher. As others have said, Zmarzlik gets an easy ride with others happy with second. Madsen laughing and joking on the podium when he should be gutted and very upset. Where’s the passion?

'Smashing night of Speedway', no it hasn't Kelv, probably one of the worse GP's this year and that really say's a lot.

And easy to moan and groan about Buster but without him Kings Lynn speedway would have closed the day Brady walked out .

Teesside/Middlesbrough/Redcar never been Div 1 and I've no interest in that rubbishshow

I don't know about Madsen laughing on the podium I reckon after the final he should have nutted Zmarzlik. Well maybe not nutted but certainly had a go at him. By laughing with him Zmarzlik will just think il do that again next time

Just eead some of the comments & I agree. The SGP's have become a sport of wet lettuce's with one man allowed to do as he pleases. There's no passion from the others to stop him. In years gone by Zmarzlik wouldn't have survived as he'd have had regular trips to the fence. He is rightly & no questions the best there is around, at the same time, everyone makes it easy for him. The SGP series has become Formula 1, it's no longer about hard aggressive racing.

No. It’s totally boring. I don’t care who wins it. There’s just no characters unless you think helium has a personality. How I wish for the days of Crump, Pedersen, Hancock, Gollob, Trick (who would more than likely eat Zmarzlik for breakfast)

Following on updates seems like better team won, no complaints at that, but looking at score cards too many engine failures and last places for the Comets, can't win if you don't finish or finish last, but these are mainly young kids so a big learning curve, but Mr crang is old enough to know the bikes should be able to finish a race !!!

The major issue we have being so far north is lack of rider availability with travel restrictions. Hopefully the young academy where we have training schools every week coached from David McAllan, Sean stoddart and James grieves every Saturday for the young ones wanting to take up the sport are still another 6/7 years away from being eligible. Last year with the team being not very good due to not being able to riders in and poor crowds resulting in this they have went down a different route this year with trying to link it all under one roof like a football type academy system, unfortunately not quite worked out as planned with Kyle and Jacob having to be let go form the PL side. For them to field a side this year it had to be competitive to make it viable financially hence wanting commonwealth riders in the league to increase the standard and hopefully bring bigger crowds in the process.

Just put on an auto repeat loop for every other rider.. "Watch out! Bartek is just about to nail you up the inside going into turn 3, FFS, move over".

Absolutely but unfortunately when the bloke financing the team walks out halfway through the season there isn't much you can do other than patch things up. Apart from pray that Laguta sees the year out. I'd also suggest that replacing Edwards with Rowe isn't consistent with giving up.

She is now a global embarrassment, making the headlines in countries that don’t even know we’re Scotland is. She will be telling us soon she can’t recall how a £100k camper van ended up on the driveway. I am sure that the people who donated large sums off there hard earned that disappeared will be looking for a time-share to use for a jolly two weeks a year.. A good accountant could probably ruin her once and for all come to think of it we could utilise your skills for this.
