And I hardly think throwing about homophobic insults reflects well on you or the team you support.9 points

Sat in the car ready for the long drive home. Very disappointed with the outcome but the lads gave it a great go against a very solid Birmingham side. Nice to see a little bit of optimism from the Brum fans which I spoke to tonight. Best of luck for the rest of the season!6 points

The overrated bit , I am really not sure we’re you get the idea off the kid being overrated by anyone we all can see he has potential. He will be inconsistent that’s part of the learning curve and he will be allowed to progress at his pace with no pressure. Who knows how it will turn out for Ace but for a 16 year old progressing to the next level he has huge potential.4 points

Oh come on Ipswich have just had Sayfutdinov on an 8 for 2+ months when in truth he was always going to be a 9.5-10pt rider , let us have a little bit of the cake sometimes4 points

I think 1 league is for the best. There simply aren't enough fixtures as it stands now, and the gap between the leagues is nothing compared to what it was3 points

Who's rating him above what he has achieved? He is a two pointer who is making his average, Glasgow management and owners have stated there is zero pressure on him and from the terraces at ashfield everyone is saying the same. So I'm not quite sure who's saying he's better than what he is?3 points

Be careful... I got there really early when the Aces rode against them once, and stood in one of those gazebo type things on the first turn.. (Maybe not even there anymore?).. Anyhow.. A steward spoke with me (me and my lad were the only ones in it at that time), and told me that some woman stands there every week and will kick off if I am in "her space".. So, being a gentleman, I moved down a couple of steps.. 3 other lads then came in and stood in the place I had just vacated and got told the same thing.. But they didnt move... Cue, one "mature woman" dressed in the club shop telling everyone around her (for two hours solid), that "that's my space and they are stood there, they need to move".... From what I remember the meeting was crap but listening to her was hilarious, as was the lads' reactions.. Bet she got there really, really really early the next week... Summed up the demographic following so many teams have sadly.. As a footnote, as we got there early, we got invited into the pits so my then 11 year old lad could meet his favourite BV rider, Craig Cook... Let him sit on his bike and listened to all his, and mine, stupid questions for a good half hour.. Hopefully Craig is back soon..3 points

He got called fat… went on a little rant and has spent the last month or so picking his toys up3 points

You mean the honest Buster that called a meeting off because he couldn't get a replacement pitgate latch? The honest Buster that called a meeting off because he couldn't get a replacement part for the stadium lights? Public statements & honesty is not one of Buster's strong points3 points

The Machine Examiner must ensure that all machines & riders equipment meet the minimum requirements as per the regulations at all times.3 points

No you are wrong 100%,Garry did not want Atkins to leave it was totally his decision to go,or his and his dad's.3 points

Batch is a quality rider at Championship Level and will have good equipment, very good start from him though.Good signing taking the pressure of Morris and Sedgman. Why Berwick have a Heat Leader at No2 is questionable IMO.2 points

Well done to Birmingham on their first home win, nice to see Dick getting in on the act.2 points

Pleased to see it as well - it was in my view wrong he didnt get a starting place in either league - waits for the usual waffle and piffle2 points

Think Poole missed a trick not giving Roynon his 3rd (& final ride) in heat 6. Once Atkins was excluded I'd keep Newman in the pits for the re-run, then use Roynon for the 2 minute exclusion. Newman can then take the rest of the reserve outings. Second thought was - I'd give Roynon his 3rd ride in place of Lawson. Lawson wasn't going to beat Masters off 15 meters!2 points

Went to Kings Lynn a few years ago and sat in the seats , there was barely another person in there. A chap came and said your sitting in my seat lol very sad people out there2 points

Ok conspiracy theories aside and the fact that I have no idea about Broughton or his dad. I suffered a major health episode while being away from home and jumped in the car and drove all the way home not feeling the greatest, because when you feel ill there's nowhere that makes it better than your own bed. Granted 8 hours later I was in A&E with a life changing medical issue.FYI I'm all good now.2 points

I believe Alex 100% All is not well at KL, Putting two and two together in regards to Brady's tweets I think he quit KL due to the abuse he was getting, The having to defend myself line is very telling imo. Also sounds like KL management aren't working as a team with nobody else checking up on Picko when injured......Funny enough Peterborough's management aren't on the same page either. Coincidence?2 points

You know I am definitely not Buster's biggest fan BB I just don't see the logic why Buster would say it if it wasn't true. He could just say something like ' I am disappointed that Alex took Josh out of the team..' Saying it is Josh's decision doesn't make sense unless it is true imo. And that is where I am with it. But I know I am trying to understand male logic here, which is definitely not easy! But as you say nobody really knows 100% unless they witnessed the conversation.2 points

From the regs - see b) the machine examiner should inspect the bikes to ensure they conform with the regs before each heat 02.2.6 Machine Examiner Is to both certify that all rider motorcycles and personal equipment conforms to the Regulations and is in a safe condition both before and during the Meeting. Specifically, the Machine Examiner must: a) be readily available in the pits area during the meeting b) inspect all motorcycles to confirm they comply with the Speedway Regulations: prior to the start of a meeting; immediately before the start of each heat; following an accident; if appropriate at the end of any heat; at other times upon the instruction of the Referee who may also order the Pits Marshal to keep a motorcycle on track by closing the pit gate c) sign the Technical Control Form, noting results of specific checks undertaken d) that tyres have been distributed according to the Regulations and mark the 2nd tyres being used a ‘spare’ confirming their compliance e) take possession of any rider’s motorcycle, equipment or helmet that is deemed unsafe or in violation of these Regulations. The straps on a helmet may be cut only with the permission of the rider, in which case it is returned to the rider, otherwise the helmet is passed to the Referee f) approve temporary repairs to rider clothing if damaged during the meeting g) assist an SCB Technical Steward to carry out such duties as2 points

And the Mayor of the WEST MIDLANDS not Birmingham to boot. Someone like Sharon Thompson, perhaps, who was responsible for bringing 400 homeless people into the Perry Barr. Remember to thank her when you are stuck at a junction by the stadium and someone with a Costa Coffee cup in their hand threatens to scratch your car unless you give him something to go away.2 points

You obviously don’t know Josh very well. If you were off your work injured and were ready to come back and they tell you yeah that’s great but we’re going to cut your wage compared to what you were on before you got hurt. Would you be okay with that? Probably not. Sheffield offered him what he was on for Lynn at the start of the season. I know what one I would’ve picked. As for buster saying he’s not known anything is nonsense as they spoke before he even went to Poland at the weekend about coming back.2 points

One of the major issues. .. 2nd Div riders in the main also worked. .. Only the very top lads in Div 1 were full time pros.... Wilkie said he could earn much more in one night than what he earned in a week doing his "real job"... And could do it four or five times a week.. Nowadays, Div 2 HL's are Div 1 HL's... Hence the (far too high), cost to get iin, reflects the amount of (too many for the size of the sport), full time pros, rather than what the sport offers from an entertainment and credibilty perspective. ..2 points

Great win for the Lions 'B'... at the risk of being a keyboard warrior, it's hard to imagine your previous manager making those team changes and also pulling Bowtell from his 2nd ride for a tac sub... play offs here we come1 point

Wasn't a bad meeting that. Good for Birmingham to get a home win get some more fans back, maybe we were all too harsh on batch. 10 points more than acceptable. Was just thinking did Dickson manage Scott Courtney when he was a rider or was that the previous promotion?1 point

I actually think Panthers will keep this close. Andersen actually rides Foxhall well1 point

Enjoy the meeting, one thing for sure it aint going to get rained off, I think i might well come along myself. Oh by the way get yourself some food before you go in the Stadium, the food inside is expensive and not great value for money.1 point

It was quite amusing watching the Oxford team manager putting a dirt deflecter next to Scott's bike in the pits and trying to make out it was used made a prick of himself tbh.1 point

Yes I do he's told me personally in the last 10 days he still wants to own it when the time is right. The showground future for me is the stumbling block.1 point

Yes, very sad news. He was a regular at the annual Norwich WSRA Dinner, so I met him many times over the last 20 years or so. A really nice bloke always happy to chat about his Yarmouth and Norwich days.1 point
