Or he might do a Leon Madsen, one look at the Armadale track and on the next plane home.6 points

Lynn used to be such a good race track and it's purely down to the material that's being used these days.5 points

Nicholls absolutely superb this season - has he invested heavily in equipment for his final season? Brilliant to see him going so well - one of Britains finest.4 points

I read they are giving away some free air horns and whistles for this meeting,,,, strangely reading people might not go cos it may be too loud or they might not hear the times,,,, what a bunch of nerds4 points

Lots better than last week,as Bagpuss said the car park was rammed. And last week i could count the supporters on a couple hands on bends 3 an 4.This week i had to use my hands and my webbed feet, then i lost count3 points

To be honest whilst the actions were despisably petty it has only had a positive effect on the Nora operations and gained a lot of support and interest from across the sport. Ultimately all publicity is good publicity and i hope it has not only strengthened the resolve of those involved but also tempted more to join the ranks.3 points

I was stood at the entry to t3 and Artem definitely didn’t look as comfortable as the likes of Jack and Tobi, he did a solid enough job tonight but his teammates where shocking, especially their gating.3 points

I remember when he first started out at Peterborough/ipswich as a sixteen year old and his longevity is a credit to him.3 points

I think the Stars need hauling back for a day of starting practice! I don't think I've ever seen such a poor performance from a home team out of the starts!3 points

Not so sure about your mascot suggestion. I was at Peterborough too and at the interval I overheard their mascots having a big argument about leaving the toilet seat up.3 points

Scott is a class act and to his credit he's genuinely a nice bloke.3 points

Please tell us what brings you to this unsolicited opinion? I'm sure if you scour the forums for hours you might find the odd quote here and there, but ask the fans and you'll find we're quite happy with what we've got (and hopefully more so at the end of the season).3 points

No groundbreaking information there, most of it is probably gathered from this forum3 points

Agree, the more noise the better. That is what makes Cardiff the occasion it is.The atmosphere is electric at Cardiff and that is with the racing being naff half the time. Who are these people saying all this.Blimey if you don't hear the times ask someone beside you I'm sure they will help.I have to do that half the time as I am normally chatting when the times are given out.I just can't believe people come out with such rubbish, must be the same people that moaned about the silencers years back.3 points

Definitely a bigger crowd tonight, no question. Car park on back straight rammed.2 points

All this King must go talk is pretty pathetic. Before tonight he had the HIGHEST 2023 average of any BRITISH rider in the Premiership (yes above Bewley). Are Ipswich fans really so fickle that they want to ditch him after one bad match?2 points

Or like Tuesday heat 6 Bomber almost puts him in the fence on turn 2 in his haste to get to the outside. Marcin has to shut off and ends up out the back.2 points

I thought Laguta did well on debut - im sure he’s never ridden a track like KL before that I mean the track surface- KL track used to be a fantastic race track now it’s just gate and go as others have said it’s mainly down to the material used for stock cars so got no chance of proper shale being used . Excellent analysis, I hadn't thought of viewing it that way. A new careeer as a forensic accountant beckons............................................................................................ (btw I am an accountant )2 points

Is anyone else starting to get Peterborough 2021 vibes in regards to Wolves where everyone wrote them off before the season started (Myself included) only for them to prove everyone wrong and win the league. Ipswich are such an unbalanced side to a point where it relies too heavily on King scoring 10+ a night as well as Doyle and Emil barely dropping a point to an opponent.2 points
-
I suspect BSPL are just running it because they think they should. IOW are running the Women's Championship because they believe in it and are committed to it.2 points

Great result for the Wolves, a 2nd time running the boys have 5-1’d Doyle and Emil.2 points

I did enjoy watching Brady on the heat 15 interview, he has obviously been watching Hawkins when he loses, another smacked arse face. Not a happy bunny.2 points

To be honest I think Peterborough are better, Lynn were dreadful tonight.2 points

The track's not even that grippy, its just the garbage they use on it. It's been much, much deeper than this in the past. If we used the stuff Belle Vue do for example the racing would be much better.2 points

I can't comprehend how a team can be so dreadful out of the gate on their own circuit.2 points

Yes, yes and yes, you will be very welcome, track a little drive from the town centre but signs out on a few roundabouts to help with sat nav directions. Catering on site , most of the locals are friendly () and willing to help in any way when you arrive .2 points

Yes you can. Should be signs at the box office with which queues are cash and cash/card.2 points

I'd be surprised if funds would allow for Zagar and KK, when Zagar was to dear on his own not long ago. I think your safe.2 points

If people are still having issues with getting tickets for the final having been successful in getting the others, email the ticket office. I've now managed to get the number that I wanted but there were issues with what their accounts were showing compared to what I had entered for my other tickets. They have been really helpful and every time I've emailed they have come back quickly, apologised for the problems and have done everything they can to get things sorted. Roll on July.2 points

Yes, get him to do it at KL but make sure he leaves Sweet Caroline and Renegade Master behind, my poor ears2 points

I must admit, I'm a bit out of touch now as it's been at least 10 years since my son rode at amateur level, and yes, his equipment was second hand and probably filtered down from pro use. Having said that, I seem to remember at the time, you could buy new equipment from JRM (Jawa) and build a basic machine for a reasonable amount. After all there's not much to a single cylinder bike with no gearbox or brakes. It's all the trick bits & specialist tuning that make it unaffordable, which wouldn't be necessary at an amateur level. I don't know if this is still the case? I looked online but the Jawa catalogue I found doesn't show prices anymore like it used to, but would a new basic machine cost any more than what people pay to compete in other amateur motorcycle disciplines like Moto X etc.?2 points

What if? After the result the other night i started thinking about how we should not have let Hume and Bailey go to bring in Novak and Complin. With hindsight it was a mistake and i was never too keen on seeing Harris back for the Tigers either. If there had been any chance of bringing in Charles Wright instead of Chris Harris this could have been the Tigers team this season: 1 Basso 8.52 (returnee) 2 Vissing 5.00 (new addition) 3 Wright 7.40 (new addition) 4 Hume 5.68 (returnee) 5 Brennan (c) 6.71 (returnee) 6 Bailey 4.32 (returnee) 7 Pijper 2.00 (new addition) 39.63 Out: Broc, Ulrich and Cookie. Thoughts?2 points

If the addition of air horns and whistles improves the atmosphere what is the problem. Go for it i say sadly at Berwick we are not allowed air horns due to our planning restrictions.2 points

Its the only curent track that I havent been to, so I will have to make the effort sometime. Its a shame it's in the lake district, somewhere nice would have been a bonus.2 points

With Danyon’s arm pump issues it might be an idea to protect him as much as possible running R/R by not putting him in heat one so he then has two on the trot. We know he suffers later in the meeting especially when having 5/6/7 rides. Not ideal sending him out there in the first 2 heats as we’ve done previously. Common sense surely? Put Barker out with Doyle in the first heat.2 points

No thanks. I'm quite happy with what we have. Only interested in an upgrade at 6 if available, without any other changes.2 points

And so was I with my initial post. What's your point? Being accurate doesn't mean you should be a d**k about it. I thought I was being quite gracious in defeat, there was no need for a response like that other than to gloat.2 points
