I agree he is your best rider but by carefully gathering bonus points he gets paid the same, reduces his average and gets lots of guest bookings and earns even more money.7 points

Just got home and watched a few heats and unfortunately I have to say professionally that was a lazy and poor production by Eurosport and their production team I expect better in future meetings. I knew as soon as I got into the stadium at 6:45 I knew that they had got a few things wrong. I cannot understand why they had no cameras on bend 3 or 4 and the camera on the home straight was too far back from the track along with being too low so the start gate gantry kept getting in the way. Need to be just above the refs box or further forward. I actually thought the head on angle was good and that personally loved the lower camera on bend 2 doing the Slo Mo that allowed some good shots. In essence there was only 3 cameras for the racing along with the forward/backward camera just pass the start line which is not enough. I know they do not have the budget of Sky or BT but the minimum should be head on, Main straight, bend 3 or 4 then at least one slo mo plus couple of wireless cameras for pit and start line shots. I liked the new push off area and the after race analysis from Scott that to me worked well. Kelvin was what you expect and have a feeling it was the amount of meetings taking place tonight was why he was alone with only BV riders available to commentate. David Rowe was at Leicester as I saw him so was the wolves inserts from the screen Hopefully things will improve and that more cameras can be added to the production for future meetings so that it looks more professional production.7 points

During the lockdowns nobody seemed to care about schools so i don't see why parents shouldn't take them to the speedway and let them stay off the following day. Give them a scorecard on Tuesday evening and let them learn a bit of maths whilst having fun especially with some of the high scores the Tigers rack up. They'll get a far better education at the speedway that they will in any modern school. They certainly won't miss their gender studies classes or being read books to by men in wigs and dresses.4 points

That’s ok we’ll post on yours, it’s got pictures and stuff and looks better3 points

Just to emphasise a particular point. At no point was the meeting delayed by riders not being ready to go nor by the time taken to grade/water the track. All of the extra time taken was to accommodate the requirements of Eurosport and I'm not saying that is a bad thing at all, its just what was required. Speedway is actually "made for TV" given its regular breaks between races and track maintenance, its not unlike American football where the TV breaks add quite a considerable amount of time to the overall running of a match. The key is to optimise the timing of on and off track requirements.3 points

Despite what some people, who weren't there, have said the crowd was fairly healthy, compared to the other Thursday matches that have been held so far this year... but understandably down on previous years Saturday nights. Personally, I do wish I had gone to Peterborough instead. There was a complete neglect for the paying fans in the stadium with constant delays and the only interruption to the PA music and distant chugging of a tractor, the meeting presenter coming on to say we're just waiting for Eurosport. The sport really should be asking itself what is it getting out of TV coverage and especially that of Eurosport. When the cameras do decide to eventually turn up the track is generally prepared differently to normal and invariably produces poor racing. There was dust after heat 1 last night, unforgivable, clouds of dust bellowing up after 4 or 5 races and as I repositioned myself to a different part of the stadium I witnessed people with a coating of dust on their clothes as I went walked around. It didn't help that the Sheffield team didn't really turn up apart from the always impressive Tobiasz Musielak, but normally when this kind of thing happens the track is normally on point and the meeting is run at pace. The beauty of the BSN coverage is that it doesn't effect the running of a meeting, they are just there to capture it and work around it. I hope that the sport is getting a big chunk of money for the televising of Speedway, whether directly or indirectly with the recent league sponsorship deal. I for one will not be attending another "TV meeting" when there is an alternative until the powers that be provide something to fill the gaps... maybe this will be something that Mr Morris will turn his attention to at some point?3 points

Why does Hans "need to call it a day"? As long as he enjoys riding Speedway & a club is willing to sign him, why shouldn't he carry on? It's not like he's forced Peterborough to sign him, of they think they can be stronger without him, they have the option to replace him!3 points

There is no way at the moment you could get a no1 in for Jorgensen, team average too high.I would keep him anyway, the two certainly not doing there jobs are Klindt and KK.They were absolutely awful tonight,an embarrassment actually. If Allitt and Brady can't see that then they have blinkers on. Brady saying we will always have a very good reserve, not if Klindt or KK went there they would be beaten by Mrs Doubtfire on a push bike away from home. Edit:That will be my last away meeting for a while. When I show commitment by going and paying my hard earned money I expect the riders(not all)to show the same back.3 points

Very poor from Lynn tonight, especially the ones we expected to be poor were poor.Klindt and KK need to go.Nice to see Tofty hit a bit of form.Im sure if Pickering was there we wouldn't have been on edge wondering if we would get the bonus point. Nice to see some Panthers fans a bit happier, after all they have just beaten the 2nd worse team in the league On the way home managed to see my first live badger, can't believe how quickly they scuttle across the road. Most certainly quicker than Klindt and KK tonight.3 points

I know i put Jorgensen down, but imo he has done what we expect of him again this season,3rd in Lynn's average home and away.KK and Klindt have been the very major disappointments imo, especially Klindt. Both of them should go really but i expect one to stay in the hope they would find the form you expect of them. But on the flip side you may keep one only to see their average sliding even further down, then with no hope of replacing them. Jan Kvech would do me if they could tempt him.2 points

Michael Tomalin and Carl Johnson better hire a PR manager and quick as they'll get bombarded with comments. How are they going to explain the Panthers turning down Matej Zagar due to financial reasons and then Artem Laguta gets announced at KL. Good luck lads lol.2 points

Congratulations to the Brummies on the launch of their new TikTok channel. At long last, something to appeal to the youth, whose support they really need. Good luck with that. How it all contrasts to a few years ago when social media was controlled with an iron fist from BSPZzz headquarters, with legal threats and withdrawal demands on dubious copyright grounds. Speedway teams were banned from having Social Media channels back then, either in the form of Facebook, Twitter, Flickr let alone TicTok (had it existed at the time) and fans ran the risk of getting into trouble if they took their own photos and videos and posted them online. Thank goodness those days are over. I just hope that the ground that speedway has lost to other sports and attractions over the years can be caught up again before it's too late.2 points

Thank you Sir, as a Director and minor shareholder of the club, I can safely say Nigel and my fellow Directors know that last Wednesday wasn't acceptable. Hopefully, the actions being undertaken will avoid such disappointing evenings moving forward.2 points

Just for interest, Which option are you taking up? Take the overall picture into consideration though rather than selecting a particular option due to a big name rider, Laguta would come at a cost and I don't just mean a financial cost. Option A - Laguta at No.1, Ben Cook having to ride in the 1-5 and a struggling Hans Andersen at reserve (Laguta massive name but you're also throwing Ben Cook in at the deep end that could easily go south like asking Basso to ride as a HL, Also sacrificing a stronger No.6 who can take up to 7 rides a night for a struggling Hans Andersen who's best days are long gone) Option B - Taranseko and Tungate in the 1-5 with Ben Cook remaining at reserve (Two engine room riders although the former will probably be at No.1 but the latter puts up Double figures regularly around Peterborough, B. Cook remains at reserve by taking up to 7 rides a night as well which means less rides for an underperforming rider like Worrall or NKI if they don't find form) For me, Option B looks the better fit considering the problems we've got with other riders in our team.2 points

Laguta to lynn is done deal. Tarasenko to pboro I think that’s just what I’m hearing from other people, I don’t know for sure so don’t jump down my throat if it doesn’t happen, I know there is definitely at least one more Russian going to be racing in England as of next week2 points

heard an interview with Steve Cooper Forest boss (Football) today Signed loads of players, spent loads of money, survived in the premier league he thanked supporters for sticking by the club during the season, said at times it was tough as supports would question his recruitment, his tactics, his team selection etc. but he also added "and quite rightly so they should be able to question it as they are supporters of the club, its their club and their right to have their opinion" but he added ultimately they have been supportive and that their support will always be with him etc. etc. etc. Put this into Speedway perspective, fans purchase season tickets or go to individual meetings paying their £22, they are supporters of the club first and foremost not supporters of who is in charge, or maybe the riders etc. they are supporters of the club and if things are not going well they can question it to the hills like in any sport without having access to the full facts - at least in some sports (football) things such as attendances, accounting, players transfer fees, wages to some degree are always made public or you have access to information via certain mediums Speedway is a closed shop which really brings it on themselves. Any PBoro fan paying just £22 once this season to attend one meeting should be able to criticise, any fan that has been in the past likewise, fans are the bloodline for any speedway club, at least football would/could survive without fans due to having a huge commercial industry with their TV deals Johnson should have kept quiet and just concentrated on getting the riders firing and hopefully replacing Nicki Tomalin should keep his mouth shut, his veneers are obviously too short, if someone on his staff spoke online to one of his car customers the way he spoke to a few fans, they'd be sacked Time for them to deliver something for the fans in the present in terms of results on track, fans I dont expect them to deliver on anything for 2024 as people understand it takes time2 points

I didn't do the exactly, I cashed out just before the market closed for my full stake (£45.50) on the overs. I invested too much into the TV meeting in the end which led to me having a couple of last minute re-shuffles on the night. Only bet I left on from the Panthers & Wolves meetings in the end was Schlein on the unders as I was very confident on that (Didn't work out well haha)1 point
