Someone who has averaged 2.40 away from home needs to go, even if he's ok at home. He's letting his team mates down with his attitude, as well as the fans.. No one wants a rider who gives up / can't be bothered. We have had plenty of them in the past.5 points

Exactly that, £1 a race to watch two play off hopefuls battle it out then follow that with the great entertainment that is the National League. Great value3 points
-
£30 for around 35 minutes actual racing would equate to around £75 to £80 to watch a football match.Don't know what level of football you could compare the standard of this to but doubt it would be the top 2 English leagues if even the next 2. It's not just the quantity you pay for it's the quality too and there is very little of that at the moment RIP Berwick speedway. Just saying3 points

Fair point although not clear that such provision appears in the local plan, but no doubt PCC would look favourably to any planning application aligned with the climate cult & Net Zero disaster. The nearest item in the plan appears to be Policy LP31: "Renewable and Low Carbon Energy Low Carbon Energy". If they didn't want Peterborough Speedway to survive at the EoES or elsewhere in the city then it'd be interesting to know who initiated LP30 "Existing Culture, Leisure, Tourism and Community Facilities" and why it was included? They'd have been well aware in 2019 of any minimal environmental impact.2 points

A pound a race… there’s been 45 races at Shielfield Park this season and I wouldn’t have paid a pound for any of them.2 points

Basso has struggled but still has a far higher ceiling this season than Worrall who's on an inflated average2 points

This really makes me laugh........... RW has out scored Basso everywhere........... yet the flak is still headed Richies way with excuse upon excuse being heaped on Basso. I think some really need to wake-up and "smell the coffee" for a change!!!2 points

Don't forget we're talking about Ilya Bendybonko, he'll be good for at least 3 turns around the showground I'm sure2 points

Ben Cook isn't the problem, its our number 3 and 4 and the lack of a number 1 which are the major concerns. Basso clearly isnt at the level he was last season and we are suffering for it. So far this season Worrall, Iversen and Basso are the ones who are averaging under their averages. Starting Averages in brackets NKI (7.59) 6.97 to 6.29 Basso (6.81) 6.61 to 5.04 Worrall (6.15) 6.27 to 6.11 Andersen (4.93) 5.19 to 5.67 Cook (4.06) 4.06 to 4.17 Jenkins (3.00) 3.00 to 4.00 I really like Basso and don't want to see him leave but he really does need to start being the rider we saw in 2022.2 points

Allen's average can't go below 4.00. Personally I'd be surprised if Leicester dropped a rider so early in the season, unless they know he's got a place lined up elsewhere (Peterborough?)2 points

Leicester were never going to invest all that time and effort in the Thompsons and not use one of them this year.2 points

Think Danny King is doing his job. He currently has the second highest 2023 average of any English man (behind Steve Worrall, but ahead of Dan Bewley).2 points
-
King's happy with R/R at 2 because he picks up an easy 3 points in heat 8 every week at home. As the 3rd heat leader you've got to be 10-12 every week with the way the side is built this season and although he done that yesterday getting beaten in heat 15 by sitting mid track letting one go round him and one go under him was criminal. And he wants to be pushing Doyley and Emil He's ridden Foxhall for years shouldn't need Emil to hold his hand the whole way round!! His best bud Hawkins should take the captaincy off him for not coming out on the victory lap, Young Joe probably isn't happy scoring 1/2 every week but he was on the victory lap parade waving to the next generation of fans2 points
-
I don't think it is. I used to laugh when Eastbourne used to do it! Plus no one goes near the start line at Poole in between each heat. Tractor only goes out after every 3/4 heats. So unless the invisible man is doing it, it isn't happening! Also I got a fair few likes for my 'biting' on twitter2 points

First visit this season, home by 8.00, (London), great day. Sitting in the Grandstand watching Dan, Brady, Max and the others blasting past is such a thrill, don’t take it for granted.2 points

Sums up today’s generation. Take the cash, screw the fans and bemoan that the supporters show no respect. Is it any wonder that the sport is in on its arse. The riders have no respect for the paying punter, the promoters continue to track six man teams and the seven rider side is unlikely with R/R seemingly common place and a sport that rarely can make ends meet takes the piss and yet in any other form of entertainment, the punter would walk. Not in speedway because the diehards accept what is dished up yet new punters take one look and think it is a joke and those in charge are blind to this. Why do those in charge, the promoters and the riders think they have some god given gift which demands support. The sooner all wake up and realise that they are instrumental in the decline of a once great form of entertainment, the easier it will be to rebuild but until then watch six man teams, 28 day replacements, interference from overseas leagues and riders who will never make the grade as long as the sport is run the way it is and it sums up what dire situation it faces. It needs some serious change but those in charge are as blind as those who do not want to see.2 points

Also depends on how many fans come in, Mildenhall need a competitive team to survive. While they want riders to develop, it's more important the club survives. For Berwick it's more important to develop the riders so they can go to Glasgow & Workington lol!2 points

I'm not Berwick fan obviously so feel free to shoot me down, but biggest issue I see is you're basically imprisoned for an NDL match to get your money's worth where I know many people aren't interested in it. I myself have little interest in watching it, it's my preference. So in fact anyone of the same persuasion and doesn't want to hang about for 3 hours plus is paying £2 per race.1 point

Probably doesn’t help that these riders have different team mates most nights of the week, most are not team players anymore, they are riders who ride for themselves whilst being part of a team which itself is a collection of six/seven riders depending on who is available or fit on any given night.1 point
