Has anybody checked on Blobby after his rant on Wednesday, with the Monarchs now out of two competitions before we even see April out he will be crestfallen. Maybe someone should check on him, it maybe something as simple as a scrape on his bottom lip as it trailed along the gravel leaving Armadale last night. But you just never know. Blobby if you see this contact the below don’t be alone. www.samaritanswereheretohelpblobby.com.3 points

Is he though? How can we be sure that Bartosz is the best around if he cannot prove it against the still undefeated 2021 World Champion? At the moment his wins are "asterix" wins. He is a Joe Frazier rather than a Muhammad Ali. He may well be a class above any other rider now, but he needs to prove it because last time he was pitted against Artem Laguta he lost. The Russians need to be there.2 points

We've got super Ritchie Hawkins He knows exactly what we need Doyley out in front Beating every c..t Witches gonna win the f...£ing league2 points

He's a likeable chap and not his fault he is so much better than the others but when it's clear who is going to win a series then unfortunately it diminishes the appeal a fair bit. Well done Robert.2 points

Deja vu. Bartosz' only competition are riders who were banned due to politics.2 points

Lodz were not allowed to give him permission to ride. The Polish authorities had set the rules and Lodz had no leeway at all. It was against the rules and was stopped- presumably when the Polish authorities realised that he was riding in Denmark, Sweden and UK- when he was only allowed to ride in 2 of them.2 points

Question for "local" Poole supporters in the forthcoming elections do you know which candidates: 1. Support speedway for the long term @ Wimborne road. 2. Have no interest in providing entertainment for the people of Poole. 3. Has a dislike for anything Motorcycling including Speedway. This could be better worded I'm sure, also something in writing from any candidates that say they support speedway. Duplicated for Wolves & Peterborough! Good luck to you all.2 points

Do words just mean something completely different to you? Neither of those are examples of where a club forced a rider to drop the UK2 points

This is just my interpretation of things - having worked in the council and run a large indoor events venue locally. In the background to all this the council have published a provisional Local Plan which includes a map showing a number of possible sites for 'potential development'. This includes many potential sites across Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch including the whole stadium site plus some adjoining vacant land. Of course this provisional plan is subject to change (not least as a result of the May Local elections!!), and the final plan is currently scheduled to become 'active' towards the end of 2024. The plan does NOT mention Poole Stadium specifically even though other specific landmark sites are named. Aside from local opinion for or against local politics, there is the need/desire to build more housing and undoubtedly the site close to the town centre would be extremely valuable to both the Council ( who could sell it as they need the money) or to a Developer (who could build a huge number of properties on it) especially if it could be proven that the site is not viable for sport and leisure?! We are not at that stage yet but I'm sure all those that are directly involved are aware of the options and how likely or unlikely they are. I've not recently discussed the specifics with Matt or Danny Ford. In the meantime the Poole Promotion will I'm sure continue to try to negotiate a sensible rental with G.I. and we can only hope that G.I. concur so that speedway continues.2 points

And even if they tried making max drop UK, he wouldn’t anyway because 1, he’s not that type of guy, he will work on his problems and become the no1 he is. Trust me. 2, he needs employment here to live here. So don’t worry. He isn’t going anywhere unless Leicester sack him which won’t happen because no one is available. Just look at Peterborough2 points

Leon often gets the extra rides. Happened in the reverse fixture too, I think. Surely not nepotism?2 points

A petition (change.org) to save Peterborough Speedway by ensuring that the Peterborough Local Plan policy LP30 is adhered to in any development plan of the Showground (provision of a new facility) would be a starting point I would suggest. Then get the Speedway community to sign it by sharing it everywhere as the Wolves fan has done.2 points

That is clearly absolute bollocks, I’d like to see their research on that. There are nine fitness, health and wellness businesses within 1.5 miles of the Showground and another five within a fifteen minute drive. For leisure see conference centre and hotel. Yeah, real leisure that is.2 points

Yet strangely more forgiving than some of the people on this forum Please don't believe everything you read on the internet or indeed anything that TTT has written. His Polish team are concerned about his start to the year for the simple reason he has been poor everywhere. They cannot make him drop the UK.2 points

Well I think you’re way off with that. We await confirmation of Cook at reserve but if it is him, he’ll be good for double figures down there. Nobody gets beat by 20 with a reserve scoring double figures. As Buttons rightly says, a dry slick afternoon track will suit trappers down to a T, and nobody fits that description better than Klindt and KK! Gating seems to be a bit of a weakness of Emil’s, it’s inconsistent at best. Once he gets going he’s clearly faster than everyone else, but has struggled at times to get past people at Foxhall and has had more success doing that away so far.1 point

Well my prediction from earlier was about right, as the Bears second strings were too inconsistent and poor Jake Mulford has yet to score a point at home. Having said that it was pleasing to see the Bears fight back from (another) slow start and actually win the meeting on the night. For Scunthorpe - Douglas and Tofty were good, Allen a bit unlucky not to score more and everyone contributed. They deserved the aggregate point over the 2 matches. Has some good craic with some Scorpions fans on the back straight too. For Redcar - Charles was back to his very best and King rode really well until Heat 15 . Lawson got better as the meeting went on and Edwards scored well. The other 3 lads need to score a few more points but it wasn’t from lack of effort. Seemed like a good crowd too which is good to see.1 point

I did think that but they are getting more vocal in the local press and that needs to be challenged (mud sticks, however seemingly unrealistic), even with that proviso that everyone needs to see their planning proposal so that it can be checked against the provisions within the PCC local plan.1 point
