Regardless of what causes the red mist to come over Craig, the fact that he purposely knocks another rider off (which his tweet all but confirms) is disgusting and he should be fined for such an action, there is no place in the sport for moves like that. Hard racing, yes. Purposely knocking off the opponent because they upset you and you can't handle hard racing against you, absolutely not. Horrible.8 points

"He called me fat" and "It's a man's game" Feels like a bit of a contradiction to me7 points

Unfortunately we only have three decent shaped tracks in the Premiership and two of those have been spoiled by Buster's clay.6 points

Blobby, Why bother guessing when you don't know. Just makes you look stupid but then again....6 points

Nothing wrong with a bit of "drama", rather then the continual 'family sport' message that has clearly worked so well over many years!!!6 points

It's lucky Benjamin ignored the Roald Dahl rewriters. Cook could well have been referred to as "enormous".5 points

It was all over the local press at the time so it makes no difference if it’s on here it was common knowledge. I won’t judge him based on that though what I will judge him on is the stupid twitter post he should known better to post.4 points

It shouldnt be aired across the forum - are you for real? This 'clown' behind a keyboard thinks you must be looking in the mirror and referring to yourself. He beat her up. It was reported in the local papers. As far as I am aware there is no case out of libel on the local newspaper, now I wonder why? There are consequences to actions and one of them in this instance is knowing what he did. Theres loyalty to your team and theres blind loyalty. I suggest you stick to the first!4 points

Annoys me , this family sport thing, it is a high octane sport and emotions come into play, go to a football match and the language on the terraces is foul and there are plenty of kids there, go to ice hockey and there are fights galore and the kids love it, a bit of handbags at speedway adds to the atmosphere, where is the passion from fans, gentle clapping is fine for acknowledging a race win, but lets have some passion back at speedway, atmosphere at Edinburgh and Glasgow was fab, with banter between the 2 sets of fans. I was disappointed at some of the verbal aggression towards Cookie, it was a hard racing incident and he was excluded for it, no need for the verbal stuff from some Glasgow fans, after all he did us proud when at Glasgow, granted he had a very difficult year in 2022, it happens. Here's to some more cracking meetings between the 2 clubs4 points

Got to laugh at some of the “fickle fans” of speedway and the ultimate defence of a rider who wasn’t theirs last year……….. Picture the same move by Cookie, on say Josh Pickering last year. I wonder what the reaction would have been?………It’s comical the way we mostly always defend our “current” team members. Having said that, we’ve all seen Craig make that move on the inside line on bends one and two many a time without incident but even if he had still been a Tiger, he would have deserved to be excluded after last night’s contact. Get over it Monarchs’ fans and get over it Craig (still one of my favourites)4 points

There was some decent racing, it was all one way traffic though, if the Wolves can ride it why couldn't the Aces? They've all ridden there numerous times before3 points

Cant be Lindgren as certain Wolves fans are adamant he would never race for anyone apart from them?3 points

I think you will pump them then after the meeting get your club twitter team to tweet. “Easy win for the Bandits but Edinburgh need a spoon of concrete and harden up” .3 points

I get what you’re saying but In the Redcar incident Wright lifts violently off bend 2 and had really nowhere to go Last night Cook was in complete control and tried a line which Ben had covered but continued to proceed anyway and wiped Ben out he had the choice to shut off but didn’t.3 points

Do you really think he’s been bullied into it? If Grudziadz didn’t want him to ride in the UK then he wouldn’t have even started over here.3 points

Which is easily deleted..... but hasn't been. All I'm saying is that he does himself no favours.3 points

Indeed, seem to remember Neil asking the Poole fans not to boo/wind up Nicki too much back in the day as it got him in the right mood, and him winding up the Poole fans on bend 2 back at Eastbourne, but I never remembered it to be nasty either way, tended to be pantomime. I remember chanting cheat at Bjarne Pedersen one night at Arlington when he slid off to get Poole a tactical in the following heat. Whether he did or not we'll never be sure, ( although the sort of clever thing Matt Ford would have tried I suppose) but it was fun, happy days.....3 points

Plymouth are excellent on Facebook, both Club and Private Supporter Group and their TV Channel. Websites are so 20 noughties and early teens. Cost too much to do properly and time consuming. Apps and social media is the way to go. A few thousand words preview and review are 1999 too many for most to read.3 points

The Verbal thing is reacting immediately to something you see and is human nature. Cook no longer rides for us so some vent their anger. Nothing wrong with it as long as you don’t overstep the banter line.3 points

Of course it should be aired across the forum. The more people who knows about it the better, and if you’re sticking up for him, it makes you just as bad as him. He’s a wife beater. You can stick up for him on track all you like, but don’t defend his off track antics, they’re undefendable.3 points

But all the more reason for Cook to keep his thoughts to himself when he has a dust up I'd have thought.3 points

Time too reach into the pockets and get Kenneth Bjerre back (tho I can’t see it after comments buster made several seasons ago regarding the caliber of rider Kenny is… he’s not a heat leader, comes too Peterborough with belle vue and scores a 15point max) If the management have any sense at all which seemingly they don’t, they’d pull out the stops and get a crowd pleaser back, someone like buzz or Bjerre. Instead it’ll be some rubbish like KK…. Oh he’s better suited to the showground than the AFA. It’s bullsh*t. I did a few experience days at Lynn before so I may aswell have a go. In 2 seasons we’ve become the joke of speedway. Disregard for supporters totally and it’s a joke. Expected to part with £22 a meeting plus extras when the club can’t even be arsed to publish a proper press release, and you’ll get the ‘use it or lose it’ comments, but the p*ss has truly been taken. Tomlin looks an idiot atm, something needs sorting NOW. Using the forecast for tomorrows postponement is half an excuse aswell. How on earth can you possibly go from the brilliance of 2021 to this p*ss and drivel state we are in now…. Pathetic3 points

Tell that to masters Dougy etc,not monbore to them, great earning for home riders, masters has cleaned up over the last few years thanks to monbore ,av shows2 points

You have to be skilled to be good there and pass people, not just have a fast bike. Some do it well, others flounder.2 points

It's Monbore. It's what it serves up. No surprise to read yet again of a garbage meeting with not one single moment of excitement. When will someone do something about that place?!2 points

I don't think many people have a problem with the move itself... It's the remarks on Twitter that people have a problem with, petulant child springs to mind... And whether it was or it wasn't, his comments make it sound like he wiped him out on purpose, which if that's the case then it's totally unacceptable.2 points

And to have the Edinburgh management applauding it in reply to his tweet... Not a good look. I love the drama, and the punches etc... But tweets like that just make the rider and the club look stupid. Especially when management of said club agree with it... Craig's always been a bit of a nob anyway, but you need people like that in sport, to create the drama lol... (just please keep it safe)2 points

So from what ive heard, new number one has agreed to sign in place of np not sure about the visa thing, but should all go through soon, think this is why nothing has been announced about nicki, until new rider was secured. Previously riden in the uk, think everyone will be more than happy .2 points

Unless things have changed since Saturday my understanding is that Peterborough plan to resubmit their team on Tuesday morning to be effective from the meeting at Leicester on Thursday. Plans were in place for equipment to be driven over to UK from Poland Sunday However I now read on here that Peterborough do not have any visa sponsorship licenses so this may have all changed over the weekend. I see that some people have been questioning why GRU in Poland have not been tough on Max Fricke as well as Nicki, Simple answer is they know they can’t as the PZM do not have the same agreement with MA that they do with DMU with regards to start permissions . Also Max likes to live in the UK with his girlfriend so a condition of his entry to stay in UK is his working visa so needs to be riding here to live here2 points

This would have been off anyway, whatever their motives good to sort it early so folk can make other plans.2 points
