He who pays the piper should call the tune. If MT is financing to the extent rumored then Buster should butt out!!4 points

A drop in the ocean compared to what she awarded herself. She obviously couldn’t recall or have that information to hand though.3 points

If Chris Holder has gone with Nicki P coming in as expected then we'll be better off tbh. Nicki P will be committed 24/7 because he doesn't like losing in any race.3 points

Sorry Peterborough fans but you're all being bl00dy deluded. You're basically asking Buster to hand over the club for free just because Tomlin's willing to pay all the costs. That's not how business works. This isn't on Buster. If Tomlin wants full control of Peterborough Panthers for 2023 he has to BUY the club. Not a Buster fan at all but he's 100% right to make a stand here.2 points

Replace Holder with Cook: how things have turned around from replacing Cook with Summers and the logo colour excuse Cant see MT taking to kindly to being told what to do with his money especially as a big business owner himself2 points

It's good to see that the Cubs are getting the supporters involved again in sponsorship opportunities. At £25, it seems a reasonable amount to donate, even in this day and age when money is tight, to help the lads all have a set of kevlars. It's always great to see them all turned out looking as a team in their red and yellow outfits; so much more professional.1 point

Hans is quite likely to get his best scores when the Panthers visit Ippo and Wolves...1 point

Francois Ribeiro, Head of Discovery Sports, is to stand down, reports Sportowefakty. Although no official announcement as yet, it is not known who will replace him1 point

Buster would've been mudded this winter if it wasn't for Tomalin's sponsorship and funding. If Buster wasn't using a large sum of Tomalin's money then he's got every right to put his below par / mates rates 1-7 together. Tomalin really should've applied the pressure on Buster, If I was in Michael's position then I would've given Buster a 24 hour ultimatum and that's let me spend my money on the rider that I want (Chris Holder) otherwise I'll withdraw all of my resources from the club.1 point

Nigel Wagstaff didn’t buy the club when he ran the speedway at Kings Lynn for a couple of years.1 point
-
Agree with the Lynn lot here, I’m sure the sponsorship money is very welcome, but it doesn’t then give you the right to sign riders/build the team. That’s down to the club owner. Guy Nicholls’ sponsorship is very welcome at Ipswich also, but he doesn’t build the team Chris Louis does.1 point

Tomalin's money therefore Tomalin should have the final say on matters. Busters basically telling Tomalin what he can spend his own money on and that's wrong tbh, If the team is way below Tomalin's standards then I won't be putting any of the blame on Michael and neither should anyone else because it's easy to point fingers at the newbie. Chris Holder would've been at Peterborough 100% if Tomalin owned the club. Pressure is all on Buster to deliver a big hitter considering he's the sole reason for the Holder situation, Buster has only taken his own personal feelings into consideration rather than his colleagues feelings as well as the fans feelings. Replacing Chris Holder with a rider like Craig Cook isn't going to wash, Needs to be an adequate replacement who can score big as a HL. Big end of the week coming up and I'll stick my neck out and say that everything will be alright in the end. Final 3 prediction (Pedersen, Worrall & Andersen) want Tungate but I can see Buster calling the final shot again by remaining loyal to one of his 2022 KL Stars riders.1 point

I’m with you on this, can’t understand why buster (if he is the issue) wouldn’t allow tomlin more free rein. Stand more of a chance getting some money back with a decent title chasing team rather than a 2 man team like last year. If it were me I’d take pedersen over holder and he would generate more through the gate than holder. Buster just needs to stop making things awkward going by what I’ve been reading on here. Grateful for him stepping in to help the club out but he needs to go. As previously mentioned by someone else this sounds like a repeat of what he did to Ged before with regards to team building. Goes as far too say about how fantastic the supporters are at Peterborough and wishing he had that at Lynn (2021 season) then last year basically sh*ts all over the fans and keeps us all in the dark. Is tomlin the man to take Peterborough forward and save us so to speak…? I’m certainly inclined too think so and the sooner the better1 point

If they've salvaged the team by adding Pedersen and Tungate then we'll have a good season. If however they're well under the limit to track a team then I'm afraid they need to get both barrels1 point

If I were MT I would've pulled my sponsorship at that point personally. I just hope he gets his hands solely on the club with his team asap. In the meantime if panthers lineup as mentioned above that's a team good enough to win every home meeting and will take the heat off of buster. Us fans need to keep asking the questions and not let it rest. Pedersen Andersen Tungate Basso NKI Cook Jenkins1 point

Someone has suggested a team of Pedersen Iversen Tungate Basso Andersen Cook & Jenkins.....that's competitive IMO. I genuinely think you are better off without Holder, I suspect he would be doctoring his average for a future Poole return.1 point

Peterborough it seems are back to square one with Buster slashing the team again , at the rate hes going cant see Peterborough lasting this season out now ,1 point
-
If Buster is the owner of Panthers he owns F all . Seems to me Tomlin and his crew providing the finance etc and if Buster putting the block on things as he is still nominally the owner the whole thing smacks of petty vindictiveness.1 point

Isnt this similar to what Buster did to Ged Rathbone let him agree deals with riders then butcher the team and expect the paying public to keep turning up ,1 point

The Clyde Clowns aren't satisfied with breaking and entering Shawfield but knock down walls and spray profanities. Another interloper yesterday thought it was OK to wander inside because there was a hole in the wall to come in. If they asked to come in permission would probably be given.1 point

Sportowefakty are reporting( confirmation from the FIM awaited) that the rules for the 2023 SWC have changed- now No compulsory U 21 rider at reserve- reserve can be any age. No Jokers Tac Subs when 6 behind only up to heat 16 Heats 17-20 are nominated( 17 lowest scorers, 18 2nd lowest etc, etc.1 point

Since its been nearly 4 weeks since the very lethargic Poole Speedway website posted anything meaningful (a generic BSPL message about Glasgow sponsoring the CL + a plea for someone to buy season tickets aside) may be they could crank up the valves and write someting interesting about "the bouncing cheques and the ones that got away)...1 point
