  1. Nice to know the 2021 Peterborough Panthers Dvds are still selling well

  2. Well some of us know the real reason for why we sacked him, so I'll stand by my comment. If he was so wonderful for Plymouth why haven't you (or anyone else) signed him since?

  3. With Ben and Zach if you look at the races they rode together last year they were fantastic. A lot of 5-1s and some were in huge pressure situations. They certainly bring the best out of each other when at the tapes together. There are only a few team's that have a better 3rd heatleader than Ben Cook but im not sure there are any teams with a better 4 than Zach. In a weaker league than it was last year both will put a point on there average if injury free. Don't forget Ben Cook was riding like a number 1 come the end of the season, home and away he was top top class when the business end of the season came

  4. Seems we have a good team for the rebirth of the comets, just hope the local speedway fans back the promotion, as some fans may not get the level the comets are in next season .but this level was always supposed to be about bring the kids through while providing close and exciting racing, can't wait to see how the track holds up once racing starts,

  10. Matt and Garry reached agreement before Keleher knew he was sacked being transferred!! Not quite sure why this is on Poole 2023, but Lewy keeps coming on. Merry Christmas to all posters. Some, like me, clearly have to get more of a life on Christmas Day!!

  11. I think Ben Cook will be pushing Worrall in the averages next season.Lawson very clever rider happy to come 2nd so his average is not to high gives him more scope for guest bookings but I may be wrong am I ?

  16. He has well documented health issues which to give him credit he has been very open about. There are two Craig Cook's he knows that better than anyone, sadly the nature of his health issues means that he can't always decide which one he is. Mental Health is silent, its not always visible and sufferers are left tofight with their demons, often in private. It can only be 100X worse IF you are in the public eye and exposed to the worst kind of bigotry, abuse and intolerence from keyboard warriors and others and from those without care or compassion. There are many people who commit misdemeanors who don't suffer health issues but who seem to be immune from criticism; or about whom some who attack Craig won't hear a bad word said; unfortunately Craig and others with similar health issues seem to suffer disproportionately. He has never sought to hide these problems and issues and hopefully 2023 will be a year in which he can do what he does best and not be afficted by the demons he tries to control. There is one irrefutable fact and that is that when on form, in the best of health and positive and motivated he is a world class talent and a joy to all. Hopefully Craig, Edinburgh and the whole Speedway world have a very positive 2023.

  17. Should have said in my post above that is what should happen. Not what is happening. Apologies for any confusion! Nothing worse than a season ticket that doesn’t offer any form of enticement for having it. Not the same sport but my old Football League season ticket (dropped when it stopped being value for money) used to allow me to miss three or four games a season and still be getting a good deal. On top of that was priority cup tickets and other perks. Once I dropped the season ticket I then missed more and more games. Now I pick and choose. Bad move from the club who now miss out on my money completely, plus extras such as food and drinks. Better to have a discounted bum on a seat than no bum on a seat. Life happens and people will miss an event here and there. It’s important for Speedway promotions in particular to make sure they don’t lose out on a season ticket sale because one missed meeting would render the purchase of said season ticket pointless.

  18. U16's a quid. If that don't encourage the youngsters, nothing will.
