Most teams would fit in the Prem, as they are mainly the same riders, with, maybe, slightly different averages!! No doubt whoever the 1-7 are, along with a track that always produces good racing, together it should get people to Redcar for every meeting and that's all you can ask for. If they win a trophy or two along the way, that's a bonus.6 points

For those Glasgow fans who aren't impressed with Harris, can we do a swap for Rory Schlein.6 points

I am very disappointed Danny won't be back next season and it isn't about the numbers game, they obviously prefer other riders,, probably Steve Worrall, I would prefer Danny king every day of the week.4 points

As ever it's all cloak and dagger How hard is it to be fully upfront with the Rising Star criteria and a full list of who qualifies? Similar applies to a full list of team building averages for EVERY rider. There is no reason it shouldn't be there plain as day for all to see3 points

Can’t work out your dislike for our Captain that’s all , I admire any rider that cocks his leg over on a bike for my entertainment3 points

Glasgow race Friday`s mostly, he has Glasgow airport close by with Edinburgh not a million miles away, even Manchester at a stretch. So, all good links to where he needs to be for Longtrack GP` s and the like.3 points

I have been a Bandits season ticket holder for 13 years but I will not be renewing this coming year. As there is no concession(I am 68 y-o) & have a round trip of 200 miles I do not think I will attend at all.2 points

If pensioners are well off it is because they did not have a feeling of entitlement only bought things when they could afford them and lived within their means2 points

I`ve had a season pass for the last five season, including the one cancelled by Covid, its very very unlikely I will be getting one for next season. I will attend the first meeting or two then see how things are going. £20 to watch Championship speedway is way way over the top IMO.2 points

Better riders than Lambert about, but he is liked by the "Inner circle gang", so he stays on." Firm fan fave" , yeah right.2 points

I would add to this, a rider who moves club's and away average is higher than his home average was in the previous season, plus to a lesser extent, a rider who rode as a heat leader in the previous season but you sign for a second string spot.2 points

Its a classic six of one situation....without the movement of riders into, through and onwards from the NDL it becomes very stale. That said lower points limits creates artificially increased averages that can see riders frozen out. Whatever the limit it would be nice if it was consistent year on year (or at least a shown formula or team limit vs teams in the league).2 points

Heat 1 also has the added advantage that there is rarely a question mark over where on the track to ride. If you make a start and hug the kerb, it's not often you'll get passed. Obviously the No 1s have an outside gate, but if you ride at 5 and are out in heat 4, the track can be starting to develop by then where there can be more than one line. Truth is some riders like going out in heat 1 to set the tone, some really do not.2 points

Positives He's a genuine CL Heat Leader He'll turn up every week when fit and give 100% He's not too long in the tooth as to be likely to lose form suddenly The key will be who will be the other heat leader along with Sedgeman.2 points

Morris is a good, solid signing and consistent at nearly all tracks. I'm not sure he's exciting enough to put extra bums on seats so Brum will need deep pockets again this season I feel2 points

In a GP there are 5 heats on a fresh track: 1,5,9,13,17. Riders nos. 2-16 each appear in one of them, but rider no 1 is in all five. But I agree with your initial point2 points

As expected signing and undoes a lot of the good work gone before it, if they do finish with MPT, Allen and Douglas will be a good side but could of been better2 points

I'm not sure that is the reason. For a start, Mildenhall has had stock car racing for years. More importantly, the stock cars do not run every week (usually once a fortnight) and the speedway certainly used to attempt to run on the Sundays when there had not been racing the previous night, thus giving ample time for track preparation ((i have seen the track on a Sunday morning after a Saturday stocks meeting and it looks like there has been a bombing raid). To be fair, I haven't been for a while but there did seem to be an issue with the track last season at least, with a number of meetings subject to multiple accidents and lengthy delays. Whatever the case, I really hope this can be pulled round. I have a lot of happy memories of Mildenhall, some good friends there and you won't get a more devoted speedway fan than Phil Kirk.2 points

Always expected Brennan back. Should be looking to up his average in a weaker league, especially if riding at no 3.2 points

There is a reason, they don't want us to know as they haven't all got their teams sorted yet so adjustments to the list may look amateurish (sorry, had to laugh at the last bit whilst typing)2 points

I certainly hope that's not the case. The 25% rule for former rising stars when introduced ahead of the 2021 season. I can't see how they can cancel (a well thought out rule) before it ever gets used because some clubs won't benefit from it! I was delighted when it was first announced, thinking they're putting British riders first & trying to ensure the biggest improvers don't then get dropped (as can happen frequently sadly). Look at how Poland treat their youngsters 2 x U21 riders at reserve all year. When Smektala & Kubera were the strongest juniors, they didn't cancel the rule because it helped some clubs (i.e Leszno) more than others!1 point

I wouldn't be surprised at these 6 being in Poole's team S.worrall 8.05 Lawson 7.97 B.cook 6.09 Z.cook 4.92 J.thomas 4.78 D.thompson 5.09 Leaving 3.10 for final rider.1 point

Makes sense, he lives there, works full-time at their stadium and was a valued heat-leader for the Chargers last season. Having said that, he's already proved popular as a Bandit, not least by refusing to give up when behind, and would certainly be welcome as a Bullet.1 point

It has already been quoted on the Ipswich thread that Rew will be based in Poland next yr and will fly in and out when he rides in the UK1 point

That’s what I thought…….Vissing was only put out there by us fans to suit the numbers game so not sure of his inclusion or even his interest in riding.1 point

I would loved to have seen Paul Starke back in the Stripes too but the story seems to be " his body doesn't take the bouncing very well these days" so he's retired. I think a lot will be determined this season at every team by who is riding at 6 and 7 and particularly by who the 2 pointers are. I think a key could be if any of the CL teams are also running an NDL team they could get a 2 pt man getting extra home track time and building up knowledge and experience.1 point

The amount he rides I really dont no how he does it with travelling its definitely more than most1 point

Not sure how it can be harder in heat one, even if a rider is unsure of how the track will be, the other 3 riders in the race will be in the same boat. Similar comments are often made at the GPs it's hard being at number one (out after each track grade), but I'm like - it's the same track for all 4 riders!1 point

So you think that those that have reached pension age haven't had to pay these costs throughout their lives ? Back in the 70's, interest rates for mortgages were in the region of 11% to 15 %. We just got on with it. Commuting ? My dad used to walk 5 miles to work to start at 6:00 am because there were no buses. Growing up I lived in a house with an outside toilet and no central heating. Today's pensioners have gone through a lot more than cosseted people like you ever will. So shut up.1 point
