When they showed the league table they had a column for draws !!!! luckily with this wonderful superheat that ain’t possible anymore.5 points
-
God they are wetting themselves over this superheat.Imo it doesn't do anything more for the sport at all.5 points

Why is it taking so long to sort out the Barker situation. Not as clear cut as seems. They are denying him the chance to make some money and help out Plymouth injury situation.5 points
-
Everything else is blamed on Poole. Barkers self inflicted ban has to be Poole’s fault as well. Goes without saying.4 points

How about a grading system. get the refs thinking a bit and cause some controversy at the same time. Do we need to automatically exclude a rider? In a 50/50 accident have all 4 back. If a rider is deemed the cause of the stoppage then re-run but with a handicap (or a "Yellowcard"). If the rider is seen as dirty rider then exclude them from the race (Red card). Imagine the boos from the crowd when that happened. Top entertainment. Oh, we can't have that can we. And put the ref's phone back by the start line. Nice for a bit of old-skool aggro.4 points

was in Slangerup last weekend and their track was far far worse with torrential rain still coming down .. they got the meeting on same afternoon3 points

Can’t speak for all of them but some are even before tonight, I did 5 rides with an anlas at 7psi on the Isle of Wight Thursday night with no issues and it was very slick but was doing around 3000 revs less as I was on an upright GM, I’m sure there is a lesson in there somewhere3 points

Don't think that matters believe he's also failed the B test. The hearing is just to decide on the punishment3 points

... pairs of underpants in case they suffer any more spectacular bursts like Basso's last week.3 points

Being perfectly honest after 20 years I am thinking of giving it a miss next year, this years GP was utter crap racing wise, and ticket and hotel prices are just ridiculous.3 points

You said the same thing about a 1000 times . there are loads of points why they have them . Do you think its would be more appealing if a team went miles clear and the season was over by June ,,, would be no point in people going .. Plays offs have nothing to do with why Uk speedway is rubbish as nearly every sport used them including Speedway in Poland and Sweden , Sadly is just said by old people stuck in a time warp3 points

Bit of a joke, top heavy teams benefit massively from this. It should be the number 1 and 1 reserve. That would be a fairer super heat.2 points

And that's why I have never liked Batch,,,, can get beaten by anyone,, and had no fight to mix it,,, so shut off2 points

Steve cmon Plymouth can’t do anything about the weather it’s been awful down here give us a break and just calm down a bit please would you rather your fans got here because you think they should have waited until tomorrow money is tight for a lot of people and I’m sure a lot of pirate fans are happy it’s off so they don’t have a wasted journey wasting money on fuel etc to get here and it’s off I think a lot of your posts are very sensible but please show a bit of common sense on this one thank you.2 points

I no there’s banter between both sets of fans but honestly the weather here has been awful the last 48 hours and the track is under water maybe if it was dry all day tomorrow you could get a meeting on but it’s forecast to have a bomblast of rain between 1 and 4 so it would be bikes going round but not racing and surely the travelling pirates fans would not want to see that.2 points

I fully expect the Poole leg to be postponed as well.2 points

Even after all these years the Shovlar wind-ups about how strong the opposition are never fail In who's world is Sedgmen and Starke for MPT and Andersen good - nevermind a strong line-up?2 points

We have a ridiculous 6 team league thats seen the top 4 decided by July with essentially nothing to ride for until the play offs.2 points

If that is the lineup, it’s a strong one.2 points

Is this still on Eurosport? Could be interesting hearing Ermobollox explain pit stops for tyre changes after lap 22 points

Starke is usually a trump card at reserve and normally scores very well there. He’s carrying a shoulder injury and is clearly struggling. Hume is a massive miss also.1 point

1 rider short all season. Would've won tonight if Buster would've opened up the cheque book to get an Ekstraliga rider over. Never mind onto next year. Basso, Palm Toft & Harris with 4 new faces, No jobs on loyalty.1 point

A dry day tomorrow wouldn't save that track1 point

Exactly. Can understand if it was the final but for a QF? Sometimes better to have 1st leg.1 point

Today the weather is very wet in Devon I can't see Tuesday being any different.1 point

Main sponsor is doing that already. Tbf the club have never said this is the last season just that discussions over a new venue will start as they'll need a new venue at future date1 point

Speedway Star used to publish figures many years ago now...not sure why it was dropped although being of cynical mind I'm sure the promoters at the time had something to do with it for whatever reason!!1 point

It is... But, hard to quantify how much of a bonus, as very often some teams will clearly be through to the play offs months in advance, which then can reduce attendance numbers in the run up to them, as fans decide to give "dead rubbers" a miss.. 3 or 4 matches like that with a couple of hundred off the gate each time, and the extra come play off time only balances the books with a little left over...1 point

Czestochowa the speedway equivalent of Tottenham - Bottled it again. Fair play to Gorzow though.1 point

It's not Plymouth’s fault either, mind you Lawson did have a hand in putting mpt through the fence when we beat you at Wimborne Road.1 point

Poole were going to use Eddie Kennett, but apparently he's still unfit to ride??!!1 point

Clubs wanting to delay the inevitable is definitely to be frowned upon, BUT Play-Offs take precedence.!!1 point

For LEAGUE racing what happens inside the fence is a bonus but not the most important, the most important is what happens outside the safety fence, the fan experience, how that fans feels, if that fan supports their team and there is a bond with that team and they are with other like minded fans (the more the better)creating an atmosphere and their team hopefully wins with maybe some controversy thrown in even if the racing was crap the fan experience will be a good one and make that fan want to go back, this is basically what happens in any team sport even football, add in value for money and you’re on a winner, we all want great racing but great racing infront of a few fans with no atmosphere will be a negative fan experience, it’s the opposite for a TV audience as tv can’t capture atmosphere so relies on good racing , just think back when you went to away matches back in the day on a coach or with your teams fans and you watched a dull meeting with no passing and your team got battered but the 50 or so of you supported your team and had a blast creating an atmosphere, it was a good fan experience, it didn’t matter what happened inside the fence1 point

I am led to believe they lost their social media guy to a football club this season.1 point
