Quite an achievement for Plymouth to reach the playoffs with 2 matches to spare. 6th place would be preferred finish for easiest quarter final, Edinburgh would be alot tougher especially if sam masters is fit. On the other hand it would be nice to stop Redcar making the playoffs just to p*** Bellers101 off.6 points

And all with the blessings of those who run the sport... Which is sadly why the sport isnt taken seriously in the UK..5 points

Definitely missed a trick.. But. You never know.. The Poles will no doubt evaluate the pros and cons and decide whether to continue with the format, or possibly anend it.. What they wont do is continue ad Infinitum with an operating model that hemorrhages fans year on year, fails to attract major sponsors, and ensures hardly any media coverage is forthcoming... Unlike some...4 points

Plymouth were told not to ask any of the poole team to guest from the beginning of July3 points

Wonder how many Poole assets have been told not to ride for other clubs. As for replacement for Kennett, Gary May has reportedly tried over a dozen and at least one wasn't allowed by BSPL. Usual arrogant twaddle from a Poole know all.3 points

Not the worst meeting you are likely to see but Scunthorpe were always on the back foot with turning up without a genuine No1 capable of winning races. The others did their best but were never in any danger of getting any points.3 points

On the subject of Aces leadership it was really really hard not to like this guy even though probably wanted to lol. Said what he thought, to everyone. I remember winning 2 free tickets after answering questions about the aces. I was 19 and went to the office to claim my prize and JP looked at me with my stupid long hair at the time and said how the f…… did you know the answers to those questions???? I said because John I f…….. know my club. He laughed his head off and said good fella and gave me the tickets2 points

The money being asked by certain riders is obvious they don't want to ride.2 points

Janowski and Woffy have had disappointing season.Don’t know what’s up with Woffy but he certainly won’t mix it in a race nowadays.2 points

I like the suggestion of a rider who may live in Scotland, and then wonder why he hasn't been asked to sign.2 points

I’m constantly staggered that people post names of riders on here as suitable potential signings, thinking Garry and Mark are going to be sat at home kicking themselves for not having thought of them….2 points

I can tell you for sure Garry May has tried numerous riders but they don't want to come over2 points

Thanks for that. I was trying to remember Fridays times. So sticking the full GP riders on a 2valve Jawa would mean they would be going a bit slower, probably require more skill to pass, cost would be thousands of £’s less to riders/promotors.2 points

Fine seasons for Barker, Bowtell and Gilkes until circumstances intervened. Morley exceeding expectations when called upon. Hans not always banging in the big points but playing a unifying captains role throughout. Injury plagued season for MPT that’s prevented him getting in his stride. A tantalising glimpse of what he could offer before being sent into the fence at Wimborne road. But obviously only the guests that have got us to the playoffs eh!! Still hopefully a chance that Eddie’s available before the end of the now extended season. Those of us that have seen him dominate around the Coliseum know what he’s capable of and that on that form few guests would have matched him.. Doubters will doubt and I guess we’ll never know how it could have played out. The deserter being the only proven error in judgement of the starting seven. So, onto the playoffs! Still the un-fancied underdogs. Let’s go and ruffle the plumage of the leagues elite.2 points

That kind of logic seems to be beyond some fans. Despite fact Leicester beat Poole home and away apparently Leicester won't "touch them with a barge pole" for no other reason than they're Poole. Leicester may take Edinburgh as did same against them and save on their gaffers travelling expenses2 points

Kennett would have been replaced by now if he hadn't got injured, they have done well to get away with guests all season, must be a very cost effective way of running the team.2 points

If all the riders stayed fit then Eddie would probably have finished as a 2nd string!! BTW Happy Birthday today Eddie. Hope you get loads of greetings from all your Glad fans. Maybe you could declare yourself fit again and return for Tuesday so that Redcar get the 4 points that would ensure Plymouth finish 6th!!!2 points

A week ago, I made the observation that Lambert could qualify on merit for next year's series, only being 8 points off 6th. Now, he is just 2 points out, and another performance or two like yesterday, and he's in!2 points

Douglas has been in Poland since Friday morning. Between riding electric scooters through the streets on Friday afternoon to going to the GP today. Do I think he was injured enough to not ride probably not. Will he ride in Poland tomorrow probably yes. happens all to often these days unfortunately.2 points

How did Lambert get in the top three? He's not good enough to even be in the GP, is he?2 points

As all three Ekstraliga matches will be at the same time, as Racers and Royals said, Kergel's ucoz link will be the place to find them all. The VK links we will have to wait and see, but they obviously will likely only focus on one of the 3 meetings. Once they come live, I'll add them.2 points

Torun will qualify as they won their home meeting.1 point

As it stands right now Torun is the lucky looser and they will face Lublin who has the 1 at this time. However Czestochowa has a chance to take that 1 spot1 point

SR 011.1.11 Primary Cause of Stoppage The only person with the power to stop a heat is the Referee. When a heat is stopped, the Referee shall disqualify the rider, who in their opinion is the primary cause of the stoppage.1 point

Oh yes he has when the race is stopped, unless the incidend had occured on the first corner after the start. Isn't it annoying in so-called 50/50 situations that the ref has to exclude one rider, even though it would be much fairer to put them both back 15m behind and let them take part in the re-run?1 point

As much as we swear and curse at the ref I would always agree that his decision is final. Just reading "Cloughie's" excellent autobiography again and he mentions the over emphasise of "experts" and "analyists" condemning the referee with the luxury of having instant replies to indulge themselves with.1 point

HI RayleighRocket, apologies for the late reply. Although it should work, it is not supported by the tech team if there are issues with the stream. If you have an internet browser on the Firestick, try going to https://livestream.poole-speedway.com create a free account and click the 'test player' button on the page. This has one race that you can view for free to test if it works on your device. If it does, then you are probably sorted and can buy the stream on the main page. There are 3 different stream options on the player, along with 3 different connections to try during the live stream if you encounter issues. But I would suggest having a backup device just in case of issues during the live so you don't miss any of the action. Andy1 point

Stuart Robson Farewell Meeting LAMBERT IS BACK AGAIN! 2nd rider from the original line-up to confirm his attendance is Scunthorpe’s Simon Lambert Out and out racer Lambert was quick to jump at the chance of racing in the meeting at Redcar on Saturday 1st October and will provide some stern opposition to the other 15 riders Robbo said “the moment we had to pull the plug in April, Simon kindly offered his services again whenever we had agreed a new date, and once we got in contact he was in straight away. Another true British racer and delighted that him and Starkey are already confirmed.” Simon will be sponsored for the meeting by TREVS TYRES with his Tyre sponsored by SEAN WILKINSON. Simon’s fuel is kindly sponsored by KEV AUSTIN AND LEIGH So 2 down 14 to go for the 3rd attempt to give Robbo his Farewell.1 point
