I’ve been both a rider and a mechanic and it’s time to ban the mechanics from the track after an unsatisfactory start, it’s annoying and unnecessary , straight back to the start7 points

Well imo it is a bit disrespectful to Birmingham to say the meeting should be cancelled! And to the guests that are riding for them too actually. Poor from Ray especially when one of them is a young British rider who probably jumps at the chance at all these guest bookings he has been getting. Well deserved may I add too.3 points

Not buying that. Lynn fans were the ones moaning last year when we were becoming champions. We got the team we all wanted barring one I wouldn't have re-signed. Hindsight is a wonderful thing. What we do know is Ostergaard, Andersen, Nicholls are finished at the top level. Harris has had a very good season as has Basso. MPT has been injured most of the season and one I'd have back but certainly not at number one. Palin, Jenkins waste of time this year.3 points

To be fair... You cannot compare Poland's version of Speedway to the UK example.. It's like comparing Premier League football to the Evostick Northern Premier League football.. In Poland it means so much, with promotion, relegation, big crowds, professional infrastructure, and huge financial rewards, sponsorship, and media coverage... None of those things apply over here, therefore it is what it is.. Which is pretty much a vehicle for lads to earn as much as they can to justify a large outlay on kit.. As the race with Pickering showed, the spectacle is still worth watching, even if the operating model clearly, and obviously, doesnt do it any favours... Beats Emmerdale, Corrie and Eastenders on a Monday...3 points

Packed crowd at Oxford a month ago, will be packed again in couple of weeks for the Pairs. Far from dead yet. Probably needs one big league and/or definitely more teams in Premier, 6 isn't enough.3 points

4 hours till start time and I usually start clock watching on a Monday but not today. Just can’t get excited for it. you know what. All these years I’ve been after some 60-30 wins. (We never get) and now we have them I want a good old 46-44 I’ve come to the conclusion that I’m just an old grumpy man that’s never happy3 points

Max Clegg's gate and 1st and 2nd bend in heat 11 was top drawer. His blast around the outside was straight out of the Bomber play book. It truly stunned the crowd and we all watched in real surprise as he put 4 faultless laps together in the 6th fastest time of the night. Kyle wasn't covering his back or holding up Bomber. In fact the three were quite spread out by the end of the race. I've had my own doubts about this signing. But credit, where credit is due.3 points

Another bad track at MIldenhall today. Another crashfest. Another 2 riders withdrawing from the meeting injured. Don't the SCB employ track inspectors? Why haven't they been to Mildenhall? They certainly need help. It's a great stadium and potentially a great track, but how can the SCB stand by and see all these crashes and several riders injured every meeting, without doing something about it?3 points

From recent reports coming out of Derwent park looks like town are in deep do do big wage cuts and win bonus cuts, but that's safe as only won once,, looking to off load players and appealing for sponsors to help them out of trouble !!! I won't put a smiley face on, but Speedway may not have to compete against the rugby2 points

The bike you start the race with is the bike you should start the re run with when it is no more than an unsatisfactory start.. No pit gate open. Straight back round..2 points

The start sums up just how bad the sport is in this country. Riders need to get a grip.2 points

Exactly. Seems Ray C is trying to be mates with Trackprat with his recent comments. Decent guests for Brum. Should be a good meeting shame we have to be there to watch it. Still think we should win this one as long as the track is ok.2 points

Wow nothing against Howarth I personally like him as a rider but when he's guesting at number 1 in the Premiership that shows you how bad speedway over here actually is.2 points

I was watching Max very closely on the BSN on Friday night because of all of the "discussion" around his inclusion in the team. What I did notice is that he made the gate in almost every race and was 1st or 2nd in the, what they call holeshot these days, but then soon got passed. If he had managed to maintain his "holeshot" position he would easily have scored double figures, so fair play to the lad. Staying away seemed to do the trick2 points

I got the same email this morning and already subscribe to the BSN. Their monthly subscriptions are rolling but can be cancelled on the website once you've joined. The way I read the email is that people won't be able to sign up for a monthly subscription after this week. Premiership Pairs subscriptions ended after the first round I think so you have to buy them seperately as they are not part of the monthly pass.2 points

It is on the Bandits website. Although it should probably be that his PPEV ran out at midnight on 23rd July(not 23rd June).2 points

I don't think that's correct. The last set of accounts prior to the liquidation process kicking in was the year to 30 November 2018. At that point, the net assets were £25,562 but, as the issued ordinary share capital was £100K, the remaining reserves amounted to £(74,438). This is most likely the profit and loss account reserve but no detail of the split is provided, as they're micro-entity accounts (pretty useless in all honesty). The next thing we know, the company is facing an HMRC liability of £158K, following an investigation of the period prior to Rob Grant taking control. This would have been more than enough to wipe out the £25,562 net assets, even if it consisted wholly of cash / bank (which it probably wasn't, as current assets at 30 November 2018 were only £33,696 and most likely included stock and debtors). The liquidator issued a Statement of Affairs, showing assets with an apparent market value of just £500. This was cancelled out by a creditor of the same amount. The bottom line of this statement showed net liabilities of just over £258K (£158K to HMRC and £100K ordinary share capital, all owned by Rob Grant). By the time it came to the liquidator's final report being published (around 8 months later), only a further £2,684.92 of assets had been realised, all of which was swallowed up by professional fees. Both HMRC and the ordinary shareholders received £Nil, as there was nothing left in the pot. Bottom line is Rob didn't "spend it on something else".2 points

Riders should just not be penalised for moving in my opinion, as long as you don’t touch the tapes let the race go, would cut down on a lot of re runs and late nights1 point

The blackboard rubber often took flight during our history lessons aimed with locked on precision! For the youth of today the blackboard was the teacher's version of a laptop screen where chalk was used to write on it......hence the need of a blackboard rubber!1 point

Sadly I think #8''s are already in the #6 berths. 12 double uppers, 1 R/R & Luke Becker is a poor reflection on a so called top division.1 point

It reveals a lot about our minds that I had the exact same thought I'm sure it won't happen. On a serious note I don't have a problem with Connor guesting for Berwick today. If the roles were reversed, we'd be saying what a master stroke. It's actually an opportunity for Connor to show how he can perform at home in the Championship. Mind you, if he scores significantly in an away win, I won't be quite so happy.1 point

He just repeats the same thing time and time again . its means nothing .. Sadly there are still stupid Swindon fans who after all this time still like his total cop out . The bottom line here he's play a blinder . Him and Sbc have got the houses built and at the same time he got the fans of his back and on his side buy saying that a stadium was going to be build that he could never guarantee and then blame Gaming when of course it never happened . Its amazing how gullible Swindon fans are . 8 years of Total lies but still they are getting fooled and get angry when told so1 point
