No brainier to put Broc in heat 14 everyone could see that well almost everyone.

Zmarzlik clearly didn’t like that track but put 3 good heats in his first 3 rides, pretty much putting him the semi and put in good 2 first corners when it mattered and it’s job done, stretches his world championship lead

If I was casually watching and not a Speedway fan, then I would suggest I would definitely have kept watching given the unpredictable nature of virtually every race... For the purist maybe not a great advert.. For the non fan, maybe it has pricked interest? I personally enjoyed it given the huge challenges facing the riders....

That explains why a Poole fan would like it

seeing how important TV is they need to pick only tracks which will produce racing even if the crowd is miniscule, e.g in front of 6000 at Belle Vue

As somebody who negotiates million-pound deals for a living, silence is when both parties are making the most progress. We have made contact with all of the top Ekstraliga riders. Just have some patience!

Don't get why Bomber was excluded in heat 15 was clearly in front of Morris, updates said he went round to make sure he was okay think you'll find it was Leon who went round

I think considering his reserve partner was on a paid max Hume would understand that! Anyway well done to Edinburgh, very fitting!

A couple of heads have dropped cause of track surface and a few others are settling for safe places after 1st corner rather than chasing the win, can’t blame them really but it’s meetings like this that make a world champion

My youngest as only ever been once about 6/7 years ago to Stoke for a Heathens NDL meeting. After the meeting he said he could tell even tho the teams had youngsters in they seemed really professional compared to the running of the meeting. He actually said professionals riding in an amateur sport. He sussed that after one meeting

Rowe leaving has been on the card for weeks,timed perfectly for the averages and guest riders.That’s Speedway though.

FYI When Poland issue their weekend schedules , the PZM always list consecutive Saturdays & Sundays, & do not confirm the actual race day until c. 2 - 3 weeks before the event. This I believe is linked to sponsorships & tv scheduling. Furthermore Saturday & Sundays are the priority days for Polish fixtures which all contracted riders are obliged to fulfil. If anyone had checked previous fixtures held at Tarnow this season, they've used Saturdays. Further feedback from Poland indicates that the stadium in Tarnow is unavailable for speedway this Sunday as it is being used for a local festival event. The Edinburgh Promotion should have been aware of how Polish fixtures are confirmed & should have not agreed to the weekend date until the PZM announced the official date. They should have informed Glasgow they would visit on either the Saturday or Sunday once the the PZM announced the official date. This would have been c. 2 weeks beforehand. What makes it more galling was that Glasgow had suggested it be moved from their normal off race day of Sunday to Saturday, due to a possible tv clash with Scotland playing Wales in the World Cup Qualifier in Cardiff, which never materialised! BTW as the home team was Tarnow, kindly explain how the visitors "Rawicz, changed there fixture from sunday, to saturday for unknown reasons"

Watching Teterow qualifying times. Looking at the stadium I reckon Workington could have a GP next year with not much more work.

Would it not have been better to have just cancelled the meeting and rearrange when all riders are available, Huge meeting for Edinburgh and are having to use guests for their 2 best riders, and then people ask what is wrong with the sport.

Is that a statistical fact? I've never felt the need to keep a record of every heat over the course of 25.5 seasons but, if you have, fair play. Not entirely true. --‐--‐----------‐------------------------ The first Friday of weatherman summer (don't worry, the official version will be along soon) left yours truly stunned and pleasantly surprised by both the Monarchs display and the half time score. The soap dodging Tiggers appeared desperate to press the self destruct button from the off, with both Cook and Nicol giving the starting team some much needed practice at replacing the tapes the right way up at the first attempt. Things didn't improve for the visitors when Danyon went down a canyon in heat 2, the beginning of a frustrating evening for the talented young chap. Heat 8 saw a tremendous effort from young Ruml, which meant I had to applaud a Yank. Can't say that happens too often. There were some interesting first turns throughout the night, including heat 11, when Pickering attempted to go by Hook and by Cook in the space of one straight. His mere 50% success rate gave the Tiggers their third and final winner of the evening. However, young Joshszcz got his revenge on the visiting number one with two unbelievable efforts in 13 and 15, joining Samszcz up front for 5-1's. I have to say, Masters was imperious last night. Dominant and untroubled. Exactly what I expect every home meeting from the best rider in the league. After all that, we're left with a 16 point lead. However, I'm not naive enough to think we'll go through. I fully expect a 60-30 tonight, accompanied by mucho Weegie chirping. That's cup speedway for you. Roll on Friday. Not that I'll see it. A lady in the office is emulating her hero, Justin Elkins. At least she lasted 24 years, as opposed to 24 yards...

Henry Atkins is & always has been a spoilt brat. He was mascot at Somerset for a few seasons & his Father would badger the Referee , Clarke of the Course & Pit Marshall before each meeting to get him on track as often as possible, before & after the parade, after Ht 14, Straight after Ht 15 & even control which riders should be allowed in second half events. anyone that might have a chance to be Our Henry would not be allowed to often. After an U21 qualifier that Young Henry was in at the OTA he was in the bar telling anyone that would listen that he should be racing in the top league & not wasting his time at this level. look where you are now Mr Atkins.

Hooray.......found it at last. It's only took me approx 12 months to discover this new track...........it's coz of my age ya know. So yes we took a spurious route, after parking, and eventually fund it marra. And my first impression was how wide the track is compared to Derwent Park's.....surely guaranteed for overtaking? Can't wait ,as I've said previously, 'til the the action starts, good work guys..........give as a 'C'.......

My lad asked me whether we were going, and I told him no as it was on TV... He said he knew it was on TV but that he would pay (), given he had done a fair amount of overtime... And said that Jason Doyle and Max Fricke would be good to watch against each other.. I then told him the line ups... He shook his head, laughed, and simply said "Why do they always run Speedway so f*****g s****e?".... 19 years old, and already so wise... #soproud...

Is it time to move the cameras to Monmore Green? It would allow fans a bonus chance to see Bomber on TV, in case he hasn't appeared at their track yet! Also Scott Nicholls could interview him self as an interviewer replacement for Sam Ermolenko. We must get the credibility back into the sport at least on TV otherwise the integrity of the Premier League could be at risk.

Last night was the worse conditions to get a race track ready for a meeting Sunny and windy , but to be fair there was some cracking racing on the track Redcar are always good visitors to the EWR and that was to be proven again . The delay at the start due to medical staff was the right call as the riders deserve to have all medical staff present while there racing . Connor Cole’s was a breath of fresh air as he was on the pace in every race and deserved more pts to be fair and will be a great edition to the Scorpions line up . Redcar had a great backing at the track from there supporters and could quite easily have got the away win for them . Speedway is a dangerous sport and two medics are essential to me, as for the permanent hatred by Iainb towards the Scorpions riders,track and management it’s laughable are you 8 yrs old ??? . Speedway needs all tracks to stay open especially when you hear Edinburgh will be a doubt to race in 2023 due to a lack of a racetrack ,so let’s support Speedway or we will lose it

Racing is generally poor at Foxhall,, whatever has been tried to improve it. It also seems to be getting worse season on season,,, and now it looks like the base has completely worn out in one place,,, and concrete is grippier. I'm guessing some serious work needs to be done over the winter. You can't have decent racing when drifting off the curb allows the opposition to pass

You have to be very special to have that level of incompetence! And still they wonder why they can't attract sponsorship & spectators.

Im not disputing how fast he is nor that he's a double world champion, he's a quality rider with rocket ships underneath him, im just saying if the riders infront shut the door on him and clamped him to the kerb he wouldn't get by so easily, unless he rides thru them and knocks them off, Madsen is another one who carries a lot of speed and does the same kind of move, you'd of thought by now the other riders would of sussed out him and Madsen and not keep falling for it time and time again.
