It amazes me why other forum members wish to look at a member private life. Especially when its not speedway related!6 points

I've told the wife and kids that I'm going to spend the night on my own in a hotel. I need time to clear my head and process what is happening. We retained 6/7 of last year's title winners. How is this happening?3 points

Christ no, not even on a 2.00 average, I’d rather we ran with three riders in a heat.3 points

For what its worth these are the Berwick averages on the BSPL site, issued yesterday 1 Chris Harris 8.75 2 Ricky Wells 7.03 3 Leon Flint 6.65 4 Jye Etheridge 6.47 5 Theo Pijper 5.75 6 Ty Proctor 4.19 7 Kyle Bickley 3.723 points

You have to be very special to have that level of incompetence! And still they wonder why they can't attract sponsorship & spectators.3 points

Would Crump be worth a gamble? If he finds his 2006 form, we could make a run for the play-offs.2 points

Rumour has it there has been talks with a rider from the ekstraliga and the talks are progressing well, this is from someone within the club at pboro tonight….. fingers crossed2 points

Plenty of grip on the outside for Bomber it seems tonight? Seems like the riders had the track tonight, but still couldn't do it. Farther time ?2 points

Well more praise for the track, Sam Masters says its the best it's ever been since he's been riding it, so much for the MX track2 points

If the meeting between our two sides at Glasgow a couple of weeks ago is anything to go by , then bring it on . Poole , Glasgow , Leicester and possibly Redcar are looking like the four likeliest winners of trophies this season , with Poole looking favourites , but the end of the season could be a bit special2 points

Two in 54 years probably qualifies as "sporadic"2 points

It looks like it's gonna be a lovely day. Hope there's a good crowd, good racing and the Stars coming away with a point or more.2 points

Can't you accept the fact that Berwick, like some other Clubs don't have the confidence in their local wi-fi network to either stream commercially all of the time nor offer card payments. Can't you give them credit for being 100% transparent about this. What's worst, being clear entry is via Cash or taking a risk, crossing their fingers and praying that a wi-fi signal will be good enough to allow people who think they can pay by card to be able to use a card. Who'd be the first to moan he drove 300 miles each way to Berwick to find his card didn't work because the wi-fi signal had dropped out. Fair play to Jamie Courtney and everyone at Berwick who run a tight and successful ship.2 points

i think that was the best meeting this season at wimborne road . another good meeting next week we hope .did noe expect to see drew out again after his fall again2 points

Great to see a competitive meeting,, well done to the Monarchs for providing tough opposition. Ben Cook, excellent performance especially to join Stevie in a heat 9 5-1 over Masters & Pickering. Thankfully Drew got up from his spill without any serious injury & came out for 2 more rides. Cud easily av been a broken collarbone. Hope he wakes up with nothing more than bruising. Great night's entertainment down at Wimborne Road C'mon the Pirates2 points

How old is Chris Harris? 40? Still a force to be reckoned with, especially when riding against Poole. A proper speedway servant to U.K. racing. Deserves a huge send off when the day arrives.2 points

To quote Jamie Courtney.... "Banks are escalating charges for paying in large amounts of money -- the days of 'cash is king' have long gone in sport" "Not to mention the time it takes to handle cash at the turnstiles and subsequent queues" "The benefit to the club is considerable, and we are happy to pass this on, in the form of free admission for accompanied U-15s, to those who support us by booking online"2 points

Just ten league meetings to fit in and over six months in which to do it...? With the FIM meetings scheduled in advance...? And fixed race nights of Monday and Thursday so no clashes...? And yet they still plan a meeting whereby the likelihood would be "top level" riders may be elsewhere ? And on a TV night too? I bet Eurosport must be mightily impressed at such capability from their partners...2 points

I dont think it's that simple. Bartosz goes through the inside, round the outside, through gaps that seem impossible. At Prague yes he could be blocked like that, but on a racing track he can pass on so many different lines. Of the multi-world champs of my era, he's the most spectacular to watch imo.2 points

Well it can`t be them- so the new rider either didn`t ride Championship for Peterborough or doesn`t ride Extraleague .1 point

Not so much Dad's Army, more Some Mother's Do Have 'Em this season... Nicholls, Andersen & Ostergaard sooooo slow, mobile road blocks being passed for fun when they do make the gate ahead of an opponent1 point

After all of these years King is still clueless ....has he any ability to hold a tight line? Explains why his career hasn't really taken off apart from winning a British title where wide riding was paramount.....ridiculous....I shouldn't care not being a fan of any club but **** me!!!!!!1 point

No idea why Jordan Jenkins bothers turning up because he's just leaving himself financially out of pocket by not scoring any points. It's also not a learning curve for him either. If anything it's just a confidence damaging experience for him.1 point

Agree 100% with that summary. The only thing to add is that with Sargeant missing Poole managed to get through the whole meeting with only one set of tapes! So 3 points, a good crowd, great meeting with good opposition and a saving on tapes. Whats not to like?! PS> With the stadium looking reasonably smart and tidy at the moment I hope its not too long before the new grass on the old dogtrack is trimmed back......!1 point

Wolves won't have a better chance to win at Peterborough than tonight.. Most Peterborough riders are off form, Hans, Harris, Basso and MPT might do ok but Jenkins, Ostergaard and Scotty be lucky to trouble the scorers.1 point

Certainly an entertainer. I was amazed that he turned up at Perry Barr every week in an Austin Allegro with a bike rack on the back! My mate wouldn't trust his to get us from Wolves to Brum on the M6 let alone making the journey from Czecho'. RIP1 point

You did not so long ago, "you'd need to ask the home club". Read between the lines of the statement too pretty obvious who it's aimed at1 point
