Weather permitting I will get a few more this weekend me old pal... but it is going well and thanks for asking... Over 100 metal posts concreted in around the outside ready for the actual fence (and the air fence) and the pits gate got hung as well... Back this weekend and I will get a couple of snaps (which may include the seating areas with a bit of luck) Regards THJ7 points

So we came down for a few days break and planned to go watch the Speedway later. Called of early so I hope they have called it right or its another annoyed supporter who wont be coming back3 points

I believe it is limited to just 6, but may increase next year if Swindon re join the Premiership.3 points

Sedgmen 14 from 5 rides at Oxford tonight probably better than gating tart Ellis would have scored3 points

Having earlier not been too impressed with Tatum as the lead commentator, think he has settled down and relaxed into and is doing a much better job. With Chris Louis they are turning into a decent partnership.3 points

Looked gash in one of the televised Polish 3rd? division matches recently and wouldn't become an asset. Get well soon Rene. So unlucky with injuries.2 points

That's a shame to hear about Rene,,, it might mean that Newcastle just have to muddle along until BWD regains his fitness?2 points

He asked to leave Leicester from what I hear. Assume he may have done same with Ipswich2 points

Absolutely baffling decision in heat 15 putting Shanes in ahead of howarth. Cost the brummies the match.2 points

Despite being down to three riders, Holsted still win!2 points

Dont think turnip on the centre green is going to be possible - he will probably take root!!! ps. Danny Ford explains the early decision in the Echo online. Plenty of days/dates available to reschedule2 points

It's a lot more difficult for me. Anyway not that I have to explain myself to anyone! I go when it is possible for me to go.2 points

Michael Fish has predicted the heavy rain tonight, so should be spot on2 points
-
Are you for real? The decision was taken early as the evening forecast is for rain and with the possibility of thunderstorms. Now if the forecast turns out to be inaccurate then have your say.2 points

Someone has already quoted that Rowe rode last night in Poland. So Ipswich must have dropped him for now.2 points
-
The problem is cost. The way squad systems operate in Poland and Sweden particularly, is based on being paid for the meetings you ride, and a healthy signing on fee as a retainer for your services if you don't ride. The UK essentially doesn't pay signing on fees at all, and it's main attraction to riders is that you should ride every available meeting bar injury or dramatic loss of form. In Poland particularly, 2 bad rides and your replaced for the meeting and as many have found out, won't ride again that year. Squads just don't work without funding and we all know the UK doesn't have a pot to pish in2 points

Anders rode in Poland last night and scored 8+2 from 5 rides. Hope that illness doesn't reappear when he's next in or around Suffolk.....2 points

As I have already said no one is against the consortium putting their money where their mouths areThink we all know where the problem lies2 points

Everyone is trying their best to make it happen... here's hoping for next season... Regards THJ2 points

My point is, even if Sedgmen goes back to scoring 4/5 points a week, that's still far more than Congreve is scoring. By not strengthening up, it appears Newcastle have accepted another wooden spoon?1 point

Broken rib or ribs and damage to the lung. Get well soon to both!1 point

And obviously you know what is happening in pits slumping over your computer, dope, proper fans are absolutely sick of your comments, totally negative and quite frankly unwelcome and if you want to make yourself known to me personally about your reference to my son in post on earlier page I will welcome your pathetic response1 point

Maybe the offer for the land was too good an opportunity to turn down regardless of the loss of income through covid etc..Big shame as Somerset was a great track and produced some very good racing.1 point

according to the fixture list, Poole has no meetings on 15th or 29th June1 point

I doubt it. if he was then Newcastle wouldn't be able to use a guest for him, just an unattached three point junior. If he left of his own accord, then he would be deemed to be "withholding his services" then we'd be able to use a guest for 28 days from the day he officially advised the club he was leaving (which is not necessarily the date of his last appearance). Since it would appear that we seem destined to use guests for the forseable future it would suggest that he is still listed in Newcastle's official 1 - 7.1 point

Yes, they need proof for an injury. If they are "unwell" it's an automatic 7 day break from racing.1 point

Problem is the current promotion/management are not doing much to save Birmingham going forward. For one, rewarding away supporters before rewarding home supporters. That is a massive no no! For those 5 home championship meetings in June they should run a promotion, e.g have a package where u buy tickets for all 5 & av £25 discounted off or buy all 5 & av a reduction on the summer trophy meetings. It's promotional madness to be doing what they are doing, maybe they're doing it because it looks like they're trying to be welcoming to away fans but in reality they know with the offer to away fans there is little risk to their pockets! Oh, I've got about 5 or 6 Cradley & Coventry programme boards. Maybe I should stand outside the stadium & be a programme board tout! Birmingham av got me Pirates next Wednesday but on a different issue the Travelodge there as gone up from £60 -£90 since I booked for the original staging. £90 to stay in Perry Barr are u kidding!! They should be avin a word with Travelodge to sort out sum kind of deal for speedway fans to stay, that would make more sense! So I shall not be going which is a shame, plus the away fan offer isn't on, bugga! I now need 20 pints!1 point
