Don't think any of the above is unreasonable to expect from any promotion to be honest.7 points

That's the beauty of JustGiving, if you want to contribute you can but if you don't you're not forced. Everyone has a choice7 points

Brennan definitely touched Kyle. Was a racing move don't get me wrong, no bad intent, but the correct call was made5 points

Just put transponders on the bikes then there would be no argument who got to the finish line first. You would also get accurate race times. They've had them on the karts on the racetrack next to Redcar speedway for years.5 points

Just bullet pointing roughly what was said- Started off wishing all the best for Auty. Said a meeting being abandoned after 2 races for a straight forward crash is unacceptable. He's sick of turning up at tracks and finding them operating with the bare minimum of medical cover. Believes that the authorities should step in and insist on having two paramedics and ambulances before a meeting should start. Understands that medical cover doesn't come cheap but should be the first item on each clubs budget at the start of the season.4 points

Other thing about last night is should book that ref for all the double headers.Just about had the 2 minutes on when the previous race riders were coming round bend 4 on their last lap4 points

if Richie doesn`t get away from the parade line up first he will turn right on everyone from habit3 points

I hope this ok to post - we have created a JustGiving page to raise donations for Josh Auty who is facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines after breaking his leg at Birmingham earlier this week. Please could you donate if you are able and also share the link to try and help spread the word? https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/joshautyfundraiser Thank you!3 points

Who would have thought a team with five second strings and two reserves would not have won a competitive match? Answer: pretty much everybody really2 points

I don’t get what’s in it for Glasgow to consider moving to the Premiership though? Smaller league, more costs, no local matches… what am I missing?2 points

Let's hope it doesn't take as long to get 'Terry' or someone similar in as it did for Poole, was at least ten years of bumps and holes wasn't it? Might have been longer.2 points

If the producers of Speedway Star magazine read this please can you look at reverting the cover of the magazine to what it used to be. What I mean by that is reflecting the events of the day. Have the latest grand prix winner etc on the cover and make it relevant to the news of the week. The front page format you have been using over the last few years is boring and uninspiring. I used to buy the magazine every week religiously but now only buy it periodically. Please change the front cover back. It used to be like a souvenir back in the day following a World Final or Grand Prix. P.S This weeks cover should have been Nigel Pearson rather than just a small pic of him. Just Saying.2 points

To put it in football terms with reference to my own club... It was like sacking Giovanni van bronckhorst and replacing him as manager with renowned kit man Jimmy bell.2 points

Gdansk are absolutely woeful so far this season2 points

They did a good job and had lots of enthusiasm which is always a big plus. No criticism from me, just observation. Keep up the good work and I will tune in again later in the season.2 points

See there was 1 or 2 passes last night according to the updates at the home of the FTG bandits2 points

Having a guest from another team who are also in a three team round robin would be absurd.2 points

After all my talk last week, I WILL be going this week. We have a bit of spare time and money today so we can afford the trip. I just hope it's a classic meeting and we get some news about whoever Brad's replacement is??? I need to fall in love with Newcastle speedway again...2 points

Thought they said it was to get all the sponsor group around whatever they do an then into their box.Ref didn't come back from pits to ref box till near enough 7.15 either so maybe "discussions" in pits possibly over who was eligible for r/r rides. At least it was a lovely warm night to sit waiting.2 points

Your observations are out of date. The changes made to both shape & size since it was laid out now produce comparable racing to almost every other uk track (a few exceptions) The issue now is the inconsistency of surface - too many bumps and holes in key areas which need to be addressed.2 points

You're missing a big part. Nigel only died on Friday and the Speedway Star is signed off on a Monday. Very hard to get a full tribute done for him when the majority of the magazine is written. Not only that, every single writer for the magazine will have been hugely affected by his passing, as they're all his colleagues!! It has been said that next week will be all about Nigel, which will allow them to get the tribute he deserves.2 points

One of the biggest disappointments is the Leicester track. They had a blank canvas and came up with that.2 points

Excellent meeting, but why do we have to wait until 7.15 for the 1st heat.2 points

If you looked at the score you’d think it was all one way traffic, but nothing could be further from the truth. Bandits had to work hard for the points. Some superb racing. One of the better meetings I’ve seen at Shielfield1 point

George? Extra 5 points today and you win… at this rate Newcastle wont get a win all season… do you honestly think you will stay open based on that?1 point

Yeah Ringwood Speedway 1937 to 1993 they called Ringwood Turfs, i think lot of Aldershot people missed Aldershot Speedway as well.1 point

A Gustrow or a Mildenhall could have been fitted in easily though... Utterly bizarre to design a track with such long straights and tight bends... Went twice and the racing was poor on both occasions.. Follow the leader literally as all riders hit the apex entering the bends, slid up the banking to the fence, locked up, then powered off down the straight, all following exactly the same line.. Like watching synchronised Speedway.. Might go sometime this season to see what the track changes have done to improve the racing..1 point

To put the record straight, Brennan had gated, Bailey in 2nd, Worrall in 3rd, going into the 3rd bend Worrall went underneath Bailey, no contact, but Bailey fell, the rerun was 3 riders only,as Bailey was disqualified. Worrall won the rerun. Glasgow so I understand wanted the heat to be awarded, but it was only the 3rd bend on the second lap.1 point

Track is a leveller. Ostrow's best chance of winning a meeting this season imo.1 point

The Plymouth crew conducted live interviews during the match. Not sure how difficult it would be for Scunthorpe to do this? It just creates a different angle and more interest for the viewer.1 point

Bit of sour grapes from the TM seems to be having a go at the track prep. Notice no mention of his abysmal TS decision1 point

Newspapers eh always tell the truth Freddie Starr even ate a hamster allegedly according to them. Do you see where this is going regarding Newspaper articles.1 point

I also think the better quality of rider that is now participating in the CL has helped, the lesser ability riders still tend to struggle to get around BP comfortably1 point

Agreed! The original fixture list had the Glasgow vs Berwick meeting being shown.. they should’ve stuck with it!1 point

Well written piece in the Bandits v Oxford programme from Gary Flint, not exactly happy with Wednesday night1 point

Hard to disagree with any of your points. I would be amazed if another team comes to Leicester and claimed three points and I think that, with the odd away bonus point, or even one win, will be enough to secure a play off position. The reliance on big home wins will then find the Lions wanting when it comes to two leg matches against Poole and Glasgow (although tonight was good!). I’m sure Dickson (along with every other team manager) is constantly looking at replacement options for when he feels certain individuals can no longer be carried. The problem at the moment though seems to be a general shortage of riders in the sport. Dickson is a winner but I think he will need to be patient with what he’s got for now.1 point

Unbelievable comments on Simon who is a fantastic person in and around the pits . riding at 2 is the worst position in the team and he's maintaining his home average in a team built to win at home what more can you ask.1 point

I would too but I don't think the rules allow it as a No 8 Championship Danyon though surely would fit as a guest.....1 point
