Depressing indeed to find that a hard core of so-called supporters seem to be revelling in Poole's current difficulties. I wish the club well and hope that these problems can be overcome - and I don't doubt that this is also the wish of the big majority, regardless of which other team has their allegiance.7 points

Well we have the troll Trackrat and the so called speedway fan Lewy from Plymouth who are clearly not speedway supporters. No decent fan would want to see any club fold but it is obvious this is exactly what these two want. Should have their sorry arses kicked of this forum imo.6 points

There’s only one person at both Oxford and Berwick, Jamie Courtney, and he is not the money man behind Oxford, he’s just fronting it as they need someone with a license4 points

Maybe Redcar fans aren't deluded and coming to the tapes with a team more than 1.5pts under the limit they're realistic enough to know that winning the league is a bit of a stretch .They also might enjoy watching speedway more than going on a forum bigging themselves up or slagging the team off unlike the other clubs posts on here.4 points

Shovvy gives far more to this forum than you do to be honest. Has been on here since before you were born probably . Hes quality.4 points

Cook not been officially confirmed for Glasgow by the BSPA and Edinburgh yet to declare their 1-7. You're not telling me that's a coincidence?...3 points

I don't think Redcar fans are fixated with winning the league. Maybe donkeys years without a track and now having one of the best in the country does that. And you've got that saying the wrong way round! Half full is optimistic, half empty is pessimistic. I think thats what you were trying to convey3 points

By the time April comes around Nicola Krankie will have shut the border and banned all spectator sport due to a new Covid variant which causes a mild bout of hiccoughs so it's extremely unlikely you'll be seeing any speedway north of the border next season the way things are going.3 points

That's good news about the rent issue, we all know what happens when people move into an area with a potential noise problem, even when its been there years! Looking at the developments in and around BCP at the moment seeing how the maximum is being squeezed out of each. As someone who sat through the last Poole FC public planning meeting for the Bear Wood proposal I will be interested! as its part of a 'major development' and that came straight from the chairman. Hopefully when the Pirates come to the tapes next season it will be difficult to improve on this years team not just the results, enjoyable to watch that created a good atmosphere and finally a much improved track to race on, how nice to have a variety of teams. Did I miss the 'top league' no but then again I had some of the best times following Poole in the National League.3 points

Wow this all appears to have kicked off a bit in the past 24 hours or so!!! Nothing more relevant to report (or spin) from this 'mouthpiece' at the moment (sorry Lewy!), as those of us in regular contact with the club have given all the latest updates already. I can't wait for the season to start to be honest and look forward in 2022 to keeping up with our 2021 unbeaten home record, so in the meantime its back to my Pirates Double-winning 2021 DVD.2 points

The new promotion have been working on this venture for quite a while now & they are rather good at it ,, just look how Berwick is run2 points

I actually got that!! But I thought that others might see it as you wanting Poole to close, but I remember you posting about hoping Poole continue to run, so unless you were completely contradicting yourself I knew it wasn't you wanting a club to close. Even Trackrat doesn't really (he wouldn't have anything to post about!). He just does it for a reaction, usually it's me that gives it, but I am not really wind upable at Xmas time, looks like SS is!2 points

Benjamin Basso for Zane Keleher is not like for like… if that’s what you’re trying to say. What a strange take.2 points

What a load of rubbish, nowhere have I said I want to see Poole to fold. What I did say was I hope the situation can be resolved favourably and Poole will run next season and for many seasons thereafter but I feel we have been misled about how serious the situation is and given skidder a bit of ribbing about being the Ford's spin doctor which he gives right back at me just banter as far as I'm concerned. As for being kicked off the forum, Shovlar you are head and shoulders above anyone else on the bsf your posts are generally odious, arrogant, ignorant, bigoted, lies and vindictive usually trying to belittle other clubs tracks, facilities, supporters, promotions Glasgow and Plymouth being good examples, your posts are embarrassing for your team and promotion and even your own supporters try to distance themselves from your rubbish do Poole a favour and a whole load of Speedway fans and dissappear. Here's hoping Poole come to the tapes and Happy New year to all fans of Speedway.2 points

Amazing!!! You've spent years baiting folk on this forum and had plenty of bites, now who's biting? Were you ever kicked off the forum for it?2 points

I disagree. Perhaps they just like a bit of tribal banter. Nobody really likes seeing clubs go to the wall whatever they say. I think it's completely over the top to say that they should be kicked off the forum.2 points

Matt Ford told me last week that he was hopeful of the rent issue being sorted shortly after Christmas. As soon as he had received written confirmation which had been delayed due to 'people being away on holiday'. I would expect the rider announcements to begin thereafter. It'll be very interesting to see the football club's stadium plans next month as well as the BCP Council's revised 'big plan' to regenerate various areas of the conurbation with reduced housing targets. The previous Poole Council had earmarked a section of the Poole Stadium Car/Lorry park and vacant office block backing onto Wimborne Road for housing development, which could have been achieved without having any major impact on the Stadium itself.2 points

Brilliant. Like for like! Add that to the fact they sacked a rider and then spent numerous months 'replacing' him and using horses for courses guests too. Hilarious.1 point

When I read about the distance I didn’t believe it. So I checked and Norwich to Kings Lynn is 45 mile, Norwich to Ipswich 45 mile, and Norwich to Mildenhall 43 mile. I was amazed.1 point

You'll forgive me if I don't take you seriously either, considering you go to Scunthorpe regularly and on the thread you just slag them off constantly.1 point

People constantly give Shovlar stick and say he is the main embarrassment to the promotion and club in general, but I would say Lisa Collette and Starman are by far and away the worst two.1 point

I'm not sure how distant the City of Norwich is from King's Lynn, but it certainly is a long way away from Ipswich, Peterborough and Mildenhall so I can't see any grounds for any of these tracks objecting to a Norwich revival. Having said this though, I am well aware that this has been the case in the past - but never to my knowledge from any of the Midlands tracks. When Joe Thurley brought Birmingham back in 1971, it was at a venue only 9 miles from Wolverhampton, 10 miles from Cradley Heath, and 18 miles from Coventry, yet all three welcomed a resumption in Birmingham - and in fact the only objection was from Leicester (42 miles distant) - but only on the grounds that Thurley's original intention was to run on Tuesday nights which was then Leicester's race night. When Joe changed his proposed race night to Mondays, the objection was withdrawn. As far as Norwich and the other tracks mentioned are concerned, I would be very surprised if more thaqn a handful of supporters patronised more than one of them. I fully sympathise with 25 year fan on his frustration. I know what it is like - I waited 21 years for my beloved Brummies to come back!1 point

The greyhounds are the primary tenants of the stadium and have said that refurbishing the stand is not viable as they won't use it. I am asking about it being used for the speedway you keep going back to dog trials. I have seen one reply to you and not one to my post. As for your sarcastic comment, I have been involved in greyound racing for twenty eight years.1 point

Last time at Newcastle he never scored massive but was good to watch ! I recall the track was a bit greasy & he attacked it & if it wasn't for a fall he'd have probably scored a paid 9 from 4 rides so let's give the lad a chance to get dialled in & I'm sure he'll achieve a 8 & a half point average easily around brough & maybe hit a 91 point
