I think the majority of us have to eat humble pie this morning. Kerr not a good guest, Bjarne will not score the points at reserve.....how wrong we were. Well done to both of them and the whole team. Now let us finish the job next week.7 points

Why do you continually embarrass your club and its supporters by posting such utter nonsense with comments like this and total bull$hit about ‘being in the know’ which you clearly aren’t?5 points

Pedersen started off 15 metres in heat 2, caught Broc within 1.5 laps then was stuck behind him and couldn't get past. Countless times riders tried the outside line to get past but it just wasn't there4 points

I think Wroclaw v Lublin, in which Bewley had a starring role, might just have been a higher pressure play-off final3 points

I believe she may be singing at the interval as well. And given the expected Aces lead by then... "We dont need another zero" will be your song of choice..3 points

I love watching Josh Pickering and Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen was the same also, only on a 6.34 average too, if we can prise him away from Berwick There's 2 riders I'd pay to watch on their own... Josh Pickering and Nico Covatti... Hope we see the latter back in British speedway next season3 points

Cosidering Pearson is a 'professional' commentator covering different sports, it is a very amateurish show where speedway is concerned. Prehaps it's a perfect fit.3 points

If Peterborough were trapping in the first 4 heats it could of been far worse for Wolves with the final margin of victory3 points

Josh Pickering please. I’d pay good money watch that lad go round on his own.3 points

I don't think the Polish bubble will burst speedway in Poland has been successfully ran with huge crowds for decades, the sport has great foundations over there. That's what makes it so attractive to the big companies & TV companies. Success breed's success and the Polish governing body sure know how to run a professional sport.3 points

Buster's done to Alwalton what he's done at Lynn. That was one of the best tracks anywhere but it's now a one-liner3 points

I’m really 50/50 from a Scunny fans point of view for me it comes down to where he would be in the team for example if he was number one absolutely no but if we could get him in at 4 for example yeah I probably would2 points

I get that , but why couldn't the track ambulance not have took him to hospital before quarter to nine . It was a horror crash , so it was obvious James was hurt , so surely the ambulance could have took him to hospital much earlier .2 points

Need to start following Poland's lead. Was told that G Laguta was unfit for the first leg of the grand final on the Thursday so was banned from racing in the second leg due to the rider having to be out for a certain length of time (would stop all this nonsense of being fit one night and then suddenly being unfit the next after an injury).2 points

Yeah that’s what has angered me at Scunthorpe about him and why I’m not a huge advocate for having him back it’s crazy he’s averaging best part of 0.5 more for Sheffield !2 points

Good call to be fair... Dan in particular may freeze given all he has done recently is compete (extremely well), in front of two "full houses" in the Polish play offs.. Riding in front of a combined total of fans at the NSS and Peterborough that wouldnt reach anywhere near the amount of just one leg of the final in Poland must be nerve wracking.. As must riding for a title that will hardly raise a paragraph in the local paper of either team rather than make that nights national TV sporting news... Not to mention also the huge financial bonus of winning that I am sure he and his fellow Aces team will be riding for in the UK, which will dwarf the trifling amount that winning the Polish title brought to him... Hope he can manage to keep the incredible pressure under control...2 points

Leon is 18 and basically still learning his trade. His performances for Berwick have been tremendous, and going by unofficial averages he is now our Number 1. I think in 2022 he will adjust his style and be scoring points at Monmore Green.2 points

Speedway is a sport with 'downtime', like cricket, cycling etc and therefore there is going to be a fair amount of 'non-action' time to fill. Imo the job of the commentary team is to provide a conversation you can be drawn into, like pulling up a seat at the pub. A mix of sporting chat and general chitchat works well and I reckon Nige and Kelv do a good job of it. Spot on. You don't get commentary whilst watching live in the stadium, so if you don't like the commentary, simply turn the sound off. There, solved.2 points

To be fair the Polish authorities are not that clever... They hold just one meeting a year and this is held a week after the UK promoters AGM.... At their meeting the Poles list all the UK regulations agreed at that UK AGM for the coming season (well agreed for a week or two of the season at least)... The Poles cover each regulation in turn in microscopic detail... Before ensuring they implement absolutely none of the same ones in their regulations....2 points

To be perfectly frank, most of it is childish and is bringing TV speedway down. They talk rubbish most of the time. Of course others will see it differently.2 points

Fist bumping with Lewis Kerr after heat 6 seemed strange maybe forgot about his hand when Lewis offered him his fist2 points

I think one of the problems was the inside is lower than the rest of the track and was where the laying water was Monday so consequently it was still very grippy. Most of the Panthers team prefer it to be grippy on the outside.2 points

The resurgence of the Worralls has given Belle Vue a decent chance, but a lot for me will depend on which Charles Wright turns up2 points

Sounds like the show ground track of old ……. Hug the kerb ( front wheel on the grass ) was always the quickest way round. Passing for home riders only was on second bend when you rode both wheels on the grass and hoped the ref didn’t see .2 points

For me as a neutral, it was a meeting that promised a lot, but failed to deliver. The crowd was excellent, but the track was slick and offered few passing opportunities. A real shame for those of us present and for the TV audience.2 points

I would love to see something like this, now that I've gotten over the rose tinted view of the end of last season, can't see Adam, Connor (or Max tbh) being back unfortunately, so they need to be replaced by good options. Assuming Matty Wethers is retiring then: 1. Danny King - Big out and out number 1 who knows and rides the track well 2. Max Clegg - Brilliant number 2, especially at home, hope he improves on some of the bigger away tracks 3. James Wright - Experienced number 3, can hold that position in a good team imo 4. Paul Starke - 110% trier and rode brilliantly for us when guesting last season, rides Brough very well too 5. Richie Worrall - Solid performer, one of the better number 5s in the league, also knows the track very well 6. Jack Thomas - Seems to have came on a lot last season and will be one of the stronger rising stars 7. Archie Freeman - Local hero and was getting closer to the pace each meeting last season, no pressure on him in this team I have built this team with 2 rising stars at reserve and the 1-5 to a limit of 35, just a guess at what may or may not happen, but I love the look of that team, solid all the way through, all British and all lads who give their all on track. The only one I would swap out would be Richie, leaving 8.69 to play with at a 35 point limit, so take your pick from any of the heat leaders last season (Charles Wright, Josh Pickering, Kyle Howarth, Chris Harris) Hope we put a competitive team out...2 points

Well done to Lewi Kerr, 9+1, was a great return, especially as virtually every Peterborough fan didn't want him as a guest.2 points

Surely all the top riders have already fled the UK and are riding in Poland in 2021? Realistically, did anyone honestly expect to ever see Woffinden Lambert etc etc ride in UK speedway again ? As soon as Bewdly gets an offer he will be offski. Brennon won't be far behind. And Chris von Strasse at Wolves still wants more team in the PLin 2022. he he he funny chap. Where's your riders coming from Chris ? - and please don't say the NDL..... last time I looked there were just 6 teams left standing there.2 points

Does anybody know, if the thousands of older people in the UK, that don't have access to phone etc, or understand modern technology, can purchase a package in the same way we currently do with BT Sport.so as to be able watch the Grand Prix on their TV sets from 2022 onwards please. It's a serious question, and one that will affect me if you can't, as families want to sit and watch it together in their living room, not individually on mobile devices. Thank you, if anybody can provide the answer.1 point

Speedway needs to open it's eyes and look for additional cover I've ran events, we had a local ambulance on site plus a private "medical car" which came with two paramedics The private medics would perform pre event medicals for participants and also deal with any potential injuries during the event If an injury required a trip to hospital but without the need for assistance the athlete would be accompanied by a volunteer If a more serious issue occurred (thankfully it never did) the ambulance could take the athlete while the event still had medical cover Oh and there was also a doctor on sight as well. Having one ambulance is doing it on the cheap, hoping for minimal risk and ultimately betraying the fans when it goes wrong1 point

If I'm not mistaken, the likes of Bewley and Kurtz have never ridden in a Premiership Play-off Final. The likes of Andersen, Pedersen, Nicholls and Harris have all performed in pressure situations. I think BV's top 2 could choke under the pressure.1 point
