Keep it tight and take advantage of Ht`s13 & 15, most teams find that's the best way of beating Berwick.3 points

Will they have a 28 day guest rider facility for "rider witholding his services"? I wouldn't rule out the chances of Ty Proctor returning but only riding in the Championship. As for Josh Bates, what about Lewis Bridger as a replacement??3 points

Putting it out there first.....Ridiculous.....what on earth states that those listed 4 tracks are harder on tyres than the others? Any tracl on any day prepared a certain way can rip these new lumps of (insert expletive here) to bits. Sounds to me that there has been an admittance that the untested tyres are not up to task. Always glad to see that the NDL isn't worthy of any inclusion as ever3 points

It is with great sadness that I share with you Jack Geran’s peaceful passing. The family were with him Father’s Day and yesterday his daughter Sarah and granddaughter (me) were with him all day. Just as in speedway he was a favourite and much loved part of Ivydene residential home. Under the circumstances we have decided not to have a service for Dad. Instead we will hold a memorial in the future. Which we will keep you informed. Jack would want you all to enjoy the sunshine today and a cold beer. Thank you for all you support over these past few years. From the Geran family. SOURCE: World Speedway Riders Assoc....Facebook.2 points

If true should make us much more competitive. Late push for top 4 in a truncated season2 points

Like the idea of Jordan Jenkins, he was Redcar`s match winner the other week.2 points

Can't he be programmed as Weeve Storrall? After all Len Silver could be Nel Revlis and be at two tracks on the same night . This would enable 'Trebling Up' to be introduced. Simples!!!2 points

The rider (in this case Steve Worrall) can be a guest for the home side as many times as he wants. What he can't do is guest for the away side the following week after he's guested for the home side. He can still ride for his club the following week though, as it only counts for guest appearances. Hope that is clear!!2 points

Have you contacted the club, maybe they`re hoping nobody notices.2 points

Not is Anlas are sucking up the cost for sub-standard products? Although the costs as a whole have gone up as these new tyres are more considerably more expensive than the outgoing Mitas. As ever in Speedway the cost of these 'improvements' only ever get passed on to the paying public2 points

Very good meeting. Superb crowd even against the football. Plymouth only lost by 8 which against a fantastic Poole side isn’t a lot. I think cook and rumul are starting to get to grips with the track and looking good. Won’t be long before they start scoring points. However goret is a real worry and must be on borrowed time. I know this season for Plymouth isn’t about winning but if the new averages come out and there’s points to play with Goret could be in trouble. on top of that goret could go down to reserve and bowtell in the top 5, this would make us even weaker as I’m not sure goret could actually beat reserves where as bowtell is starting to push heatleaders all the way. If replacing goret pushes Alfie back down to reserve it’s a no brainer. Plymouth are getting closer and closer.2 points

But the big question is would any sane person spend £17.85 to spend an evening with Mr Shovlar, listening to his blinkered and brown nosed opinions of everyone involved in the sport2 points

I'd prefer the lowest averaged rider (in all leagues) to be at number 7. Look at the Peterborough vs Wolves TV match, Ostergaard & Andersen in heat 8, which is protected, but Palin meets the Masters / Nicol & Morris / Douglas pairings, which aren't protected? Protecting heat 8 is pointless if you don't have your weakest rider in it!1 point

Over my lifetime of being a witches fan,,, Sheffield has always been a track we tend not to do very well on. I'm not expecting anything from this,,, so if we did have a miracle night and got a point,, that would be awesome, and helps with our teams big push for fifth.1 point

I said give them ALL the opportunities they can handle …(young British riders in general )1 point

I think you know the answer to that. A team manager of course has an influence on motivations & rider interactions plus tactically influence the results and make them as best as they can but ultimately they have to deal with the team they're given and how they perform that season in comparison to other teams. Dealing with injuries and other factors external to that team means that the success of that team cannot be the responsibility of the team manager in the same was as it can perhaps for other sports. Therefore, I'd use criteria other than league titles alone to evidence the competence of a team manager. I'd be interested in how Daniel backs up his claim but of course it's just his opinion1 point

Couldn't agree with you more, barmy decision to go along with numerus other barmy decisions. You get the feeling they are making the rules up as they go.1 point

Precisely all these excusive agreements just hurt the sport in the UK and prevent it from moving forward. Instead of the kick backs and dodgy deals we could have had any hologomated tyre is allowed for use in the UK. If there is an advantage between one and another at certain tracks then it adds to part of the spectacle. Mitas may not have been perfect but at least everyone knew its flaws and how to work around them.1 point

Sad news indeed. Jack was one of Oxford speedway's "G men" along with Gooch, Gooddy and Genz in that 1964 team.1 point

I think it's ok if you are left handed... And have brown or blue eyes.. Or something like that...1 point

Allowing two tyres per meeting is tantamount to accepting that the tyres are not good enough. We have had many years where only one tyre is allowed.1 point

He’s genuinely a different rider this season changed his machinery. Thought Heeps was sort of promised his place when he was fit at Ipswich but maybe not ?1 point

No, al leave that to you. Was trying to give the guy the heads up,,, a think the big steps under the canopy wouldn't be ideal for folding chairs,,, but if there is room for chairs at the bottom, thats great.1 point

Dropped three when he got excluded for knocking off Jye two years ago. Great memories from that match, the best atmosphere I've seen at Berwick for a long time. The noise that night was brilliant. Glasgow always bring a big following. Hopefully the same on Saturday.1 point

We sat one yard, first bend side of the finish line and I was convinced Danyon has nicked it on the line. I was shocked the referee awarded third place to the Plymouth rider !!!!1 point
-
You made a claim about him being the best, I was asking what achievements he had had in the top flight to substantiate that and apparently that is my mistake?1 point
-
You really think Cook will get beat off Summers and NBJ in ht13 on Saturday? They’ve been getting beat off away reserves never mind Cookie who’s dropped about 5 points at Berwick in the past 8 years1 point

Not sure you can go to far forward as the Monday fixtures on TV seem to regularly change. Certainly Ipswich v Wolves is the live offering next Monday the 28th.1 point

Will Mr Crump be fit for this meeting and if so will he attend as his lad is racing in the 1st round of the British Superbike Championship on the 27th, however if he is passed fit and is a no show Plymouth won't get a facility for him... So I think that means an NDL guest... If he is still injured (cough cough) and Plymouth get a facility then maybe Danny King... How many will Bjarne put on the gate and how many more will Crump add if he turns up? Forecast is for rain at the minute but they said the same for this Sunday.... Score... well I reckon with Stevie Worrall in again we should be good for a 50 40 home win as a minimum no matter what team Plymouth send ... Ruml could score being used to tighter US tracks Steven Goret will not know what planet he's on and will have seen nothing like Brough in his life Zach Cook could struggle as well and it depends which Alfie Bowtell turns up and young Luke will be a good test for JPB... All in all should be a good match and I am also expecting some thrills with the Plymouth top two and a few spills from the rest of them... Regards THJ1 point

Obviously those three have left, but with those three it possibly has nothing to do with the club. Two of those do seem to carry some baggage with them plus Bridger has totally finished(for now until his next comeback) and Proctor everyone pretty much wanted him out anyway.Don't forget Proctor has stepped away from the sport for now not just K.Lynn.Now if Kerr or Jorgensen wanted to leave then i would be asking serious questions about what is going on.1 point

Cook in he's head, maybe . Bridger, kidding himself. Proctor .Something in his head. You could see 2019.Yeah Bridger is done. Ty was on the decline in 2019. Cook is Cook.If u fuc@ Buster your gone1 point

I like the effort Palin is putting in and he has speed..but I can't help thinking B.Vue are going to reap the rewards of him spending a season at reserve for us..which kind of makes a mockery of the rising star thing...if he is not going to stay at the club. It's like doing an apprenticeship and then leaving the company once your qualified..the company gains nothing in that case.1 point

Venue and meeting details to follow is the best we can do at the minute, it would be great to see the event return to Berwick again. A home track winner would go down very well.1 point
