Rather quiet? Well done to the Gems on their victory. A good sign for the future, especially the points scored by Danny Smith. Let's hope I get to see the Gems in person throughout the season.2 points

Pathetic decision to allow Leicester to flout the rules. We're supposed to be limiting the replacement facilities to give newcomers a chance, yet before a wheel is turned it has all gone out of the window. If they'd lost a high averaged rider and there were no similar replacements available, you could half understand it. But they've lost a 4-point man. There's plenty of 3 pointers who'd be an adequate replacement.1 point

Just seemed to take forever. A draw probably a fair result, Grudziadz were much improved but Pedersen's tapes exclusion cost them. Some good racing.1 point

Leddy kindly produced a zone map for us to use (attached) ..so keep an eye out for details of when the tickets go on sale zones.pdf (213.94 kB - downloaded 2 times.) think they are hoping to have the online booking system up snd running next week1 point
-
hopefully going on sale next week as all season ticket holders have now been contacted to reserve their zone they watch from so numbers are now known in each zone to be sold as maximum numbers allowed in each zone1 point

I think I am a jinx. Regular at Wimbledon, Hackney, New Cross, White City (London), Crayford, Romford, Rye House, Arena Essex and Skegness plus visited Cradley, Coventry, Canterbury, Rochdale and Exeter. Only tracks I have seen racing at that are still running are Eastbourne and Isle of Wight.1 point

Belle Vue did want to use Chris Pusey in the Colts but were denied the chance to do so. I guess it was because he was also in the Aces side and blatant doubling up was frowned on. It certainly couldn't be that he was too experienced as he'd only had a few meetings for the Aces in 1967.1 point

So British speedway returns to terrestrial tv on 11pm tuesday, this is excellent news if you ask me.1 point

Pathetic comment. based on no facts whatsoever. Eurosport haven't even screened a single meeting yet, and here's a supposed Speedway fan slagging them off for giving our sport 4 hours of coverage; an hour of which will be a highlights programme on Free-to-air TV for the first time. I wonder how many football fans moan about 4-hour programmes covering a football match?1 point
