Thats the Witches fans sorted but what about the Compost Corner regulars?4 points

Admittedly it’s a low bar but IRR is one of the BSPA’s better ideas IMO.4 points

Look's like you know a lot more than you're willing to say. Personally the longer we hear nothing the more I feel we may have seen the last of the Rebels which would be another nail in U.K. speedway's coffin.2 points

From what I know Redcar are no different. Whilst they have massively changed for the better since the dark Havelock days they still operate on a budget and riders don’t get paid over the top rates. Having spoken to many riders who have ridden for them since 2017 they say they ride there for less money than they could get elsewhere, because it’s a good ,safe, track, with no unnecessary pressure applied and even in the Havvy days, they get paid on time. Riders ride best when there happy !2 points

The lighting columns are at least 3 metres back from the fence on turns 3 & 4, allow for air bags as well, and the riders usually enter & exit the bends on the inside of the track, I can't see this being a problem. I would also box in the hospitality suite supports & utilise the space for further advertising revenue.2 points

Especially fascinating what goes on behind the scenes...the riding part is the 'easy' thing! Thanks for posting the clip!2 points

Kingofthe Track thanks for the information regarding watching the last meeting. Susans11 point

i'm sure it said the new owners of the clubhouse were in a completely different business and wouldn't be running it as a hospitality venue.1 point

Happy days! I managed to get Fricke over 9.5 before his tactical sub ride, so that one is home with 1 ride to go!1 point

Emil, Kolodziej, Doyle, Pawlicki are solid. They lost their strength at reserve. Won’t win it unless there’s injuries to others at crucial moments. Agree Gorzow look favourites. Torun with this team wouldn’t be so close as they are at the moment though 53-37 ish at the end.1 point

Te complete lack of information coming from most clubs on their plans to restart the season in less than 4 weeks time fully supports my opinion that they have their heads in the sand and are hoping that this all goes away by May 16th, and it will "business as usual. " All pretty shabby, certainly doesn't inspire confidence that the speedway stadia will be low Covid 19 risk environments. Frankly I would be amazed if half the stadia were allowed to open as planned in May. Only Eastbourne appear to have grasped the nettle, and set out their plans to their supporters.1 point

Get in. Pathetic from Ostrow and bet365 to offer 3/1 on Krosno to win the meeting since they were smacking Ostrow by 10 after 5 Heats.1 point

1500 to 1800? Really? Wow.. That's a crowd level plenty in the Premiership would love each week.. Shows what running on your "best night" can do if those numbers are correct..1 point

Thought it was 8000 Would be great to see that many come down, just to see the glum faces walking out as your team has took one helluva beating1 point

Managed to save some of my losses by going for Zengota under 10.5 before heat 14. Should of lumped on in hindsight!1 point

Tarasenko right to be excluded the first time but there is no way he should go for that one.1 point

2 meter safety zone is required outside the fence. As for FIM track license (as in license for a track, not facilities) cant see it being as complicated as HA thinks.1 point

Depending on the opposition, weather and if the Football & Rugby were home between 1,500 and 1,800 most weeks, obviously towards the end of the season when fighting for the league crowds were a lot higher . Hopefully we can all be back in the stadium a month tonight watching a Lions win1 point

Looking at the club Web site it shows admission prices as '2020'. Any chance of updating to '2021' and consider adding update to follow if appropriate. It's time to think of the customer: 1) if it's likely to be your highest attended league fixture and crowd number restrictions could leave disappointed fans then move the fixture. 2) A 50p ticket administration charge is shown for each ticket. This to me is another classic way of pi**ing off the majority of fans who want to turn up and pay on the day, but still have respect and understanding of Covid issues. It's time to respect you customer. A fan who misses one meeting finds it easier to miss more... especially after this time period of shutdown.1 point

I very much think the exodus may be the other way with Brits going to Australia, probably Australia, and New Zealand, are more British than Britain these days.1 point

Today April 23rd marks the 36th anniversary of Billy`s death. He would have been 66 today. A day of remembrance.1 point

Seems to me it’s a big dream to think Odsal could be the venue for a world speedway Gp one off meeting in 2021, 2022 or any other year unless a lot of money is thrown at it. Who has got the money and the inclination to fulfill the dreams of a few fans.1 point

I wonder if that's going to make a difference though? Looking at how the next crop of Aussies like Jaimon Lidsey and now Frazer Bowes are choosing to base themselves in Poland or Germany so that they can more easily hop between EU countries and their teams in Germany, Poland, Denmark and Sweden, being based in the UK could actually be a hindrance to them, no matter how easy it is to get to the UK. Having an easy entrance into a dead end street doesn't get you anywhere.1 point

Best of luck in all your endeavours this season Barry. I am sure a good many on here appreciate your updates and honesty, not to mention the way you and the team down there actually go about promoting your sport and business.. Many could do a lot worse than learning from what you all do down there..1 point

Having moved to Cornwall in the last few years, I’m looking forward to watching Plymouth this season. Season ticket sorted. I’m going to miss my first love, the Swindon Robins, and my second love the Rebs at Somerset, but going to put my Gladiators hat on now. With Crumpie leading the attack, what’s not to like?!!! Well done Plymouth for putting together such an attractive team for this season.1 point
