  4. I managed to watch up to the dispute in Heat 16 at home, then had to leave at 1.50pm, to get to Salford City as I was snapping the game. Got into the ground, signed in and got my cameras ready as they were just about to restart Heat 16, so I didn't miss it ( I only live about 10 mins from the ground). Did a few pics of the warm up, then watched the final four heats on my phone which finished just as both teams walked out for the Match. At least tomorrow I can sit at home in the warmth and watch the whole meeting!

  5. Referee excluded the wrong rider in heat 16, but under big pressure it was a 'all 4 back' for the restart. The big clubs have big influence on the ice speedway, and the results of their riders.

  6. They were very well matched, and I was very impressed with Luke in the two rounds I saw.

  11. Hi mate they are the rules as per the regs . But due to this being British speedway they made it up as they went along . After Luke won the final round officially he should of been the champion. However when the rules were mentioned the reply was just go win it on track . Which he did in the run off . Rule book only applies to certain aspects of the sport on certain occasions. in fairness though it was a wonderful series at 250 level and either Max or Luke would of been worthy winners

  13. So you think that despite what I've said it's all just about a bit of messy rainwater. I am aware you are not a supporter these days or have a duty with a promotion, but you have proved you are still never wrong whilst never being right.

  14. Spot on that.. And did you also know that those cooling towers you see with steam coming out of them are used for fracking, and the steam you see is from the molten lava that becomes exposed from the earth's core when they go down too far.. They do the fracking in these towers so that they cannot be seen and no one can therefore protest about it.. They also do a different area every day but you never notice because they move the towers and every single building for a mile radius around them by exactly the same amount.. They do this each night when we are all asleep...

  16. There are many instances I can remember Michael being sublime, probably one of the earliest was when he was first started riding for Boston against a top Newcastle outfit. Riding high at the top of the second division, it was only ever going to be a close encounter. It hadn't been a good meeting for Lee scoring only a handful of points, but the whole meeting rested on the final race. Tom and Joe Owen off gates 1 and 3 with Lee off 2. Their intentions were clear from the off., squeeze out lee then team ride for the 4-2 for victory. Their plan worked a treat.. Down the back straight , Lee was well last. Lap 2 he moves into third chasing hard. As they start the last lap Lee dives inside the team riding Tom, the crowd could sense a tight finish. Taking to the boards on the last corner Lee rode round Joe to acclaim a stunning victory. This was truly amazing for someone barely 16 yrs old. Everyone there that night knew they had witnessed an awesome talent....
