In the speedway star today bomber blames the track for his lack of points. Sometimes it’s grippy and sometimes it’s slick and it’s not his fault he can’t find a set up. With 20 years plus experience on all tracks it’s a pretty poor excuse. The fact is bomber isn’t a number one anymore and hasn’t been for a few seasons15 points

Give it a rest mate, we've been over this. The guy with the red flag walked away from the incident, at no stage did he use aggressive behaviour. If Cook and the others had waited for the presentation to end, I suspect none of this would have happened.7 points

As we’ve had nothing to do with the Club since January (not even seen a race), the events of this season are nothing to do with us. The Club was handed over with a fine 1-7, good season ticket sales and a complete fixture list - and with every opportunity to succeed this season.6 points

Its never been Bombers fault he can't find a setup! That whole side of the sport is what has held him back from being a much more successful rider. Yes his gating is iffy but not that terrible, what keeps him an an inconsistent enigma is that he doesn't know how to set a bike up and just lucks in some days but the worst part is that its always somebody else's fault.6 points

It's almost as strange as the fruitcakes on here with multiple accounts.6 points

Panthers have ridden nine home meetings, as have all PL Clubs (Wolves and Belle Vue slightly more). Are the other Clubs’s riders unable to invest too?4 points

Garrity must have been using the Van he uses for Edinburgh trips today4 points

He got commended for doing his job and not reacting to being assaulted4 points

Sounds like this attitude has only been exacerbated by his wife going from social media postings. She seems even more sensitive to criticism of Bomber than he is!4 points

I was enjoying the sun today - shame it had to set. Some would even blame Buster for that!!3 points

I’m expecting a full enquiry into the whereabouts of garrity and tungate. And also the overall strength of the side put out. Im expecting also a broom and a large carpet to be be in attendance !!!!3 points

Nobody passed anybody apart from Matty on Morris in his second ride. The track needs to be prepared the way it was for the Edinburgh cup match with more dirt on it. It's been completely different since the Edinburgh fixture ( one of the best meetings, race wise, in years). since then we've had 45 heats of racing with 4 passes (if we're lucky) after the 2nd bend. Put some bloody muck on it instead of it being softy southerners slick as concrete.3 points

So what punishment did the muppet with the red flag get? After all, it was him that sparked the violence!3 points

Peter Collins.. Shudder to think how loud the decibels on the TV would be if Nigel and Kelvin had commented on him racing...3 points

I think Brady was sponsored by this one in Heat 3 and looked like Jack was riding it in Heats 1 & 5.2 points

I congratulated Swindon on their win. They are rivals so not going to be too nice.2 points

Harris on a GTR tonight which worked well, on a track that all the riders liked. Hopefully it will be similar next week. Tough on Nuts that his max was denied by a snapped chain in heat 15 whilst leading. Possible heat of the year in heat 9 between Allen, Heeps, Summers and Nicholls2 points

Looking forward to my first visit to the newly shaped track,,,, let's see how much confidence our riders got by scoring some points tonight. Would be nice to at least put up a half decent display,2 points

I shouted over to JG after heat 15 whilst he was popping wheelies 'you didn't win you know!'2 points

I've always hated home teams being able to use a TS, a real bug bear of mine. If you are that far behind at YOUR track then tough! You shouldn't be allowed extra help.2 points

I think the meeting should be postponed. Its hardly fair on the other teams going for top 4 spot!!2 points

Under which rule is a facility available for a rider failing to arrive at a meeting?2 points

A couple of seasons ago he sat in front of us lot in the grandstand at Poole. Rather than introduce himself he got all huffy, then stormed out after heat 13 with his tail between his legs after Swindon were thumped. Hilarious stuff.2 points

Thanks for your feedback Dickie and Harry. Felt good from the centre green with the match really coming alive in the closing races. Got to admire those guys. Really fearless and their efforts were rightly well received. Thanks to Garry and Debbie for asking me to stand in for Spencer. Hope to be back on duty for you before the end of the season.2 points

As the first person to act violently it's ironic that Cook has not served a ban but the other two have.2 points

First visit to Berwick and a nice set up. Looking at the track seemed bare ,dry and packed down hard- with the dubious forecast a no brainer really. Being used to the wide open plains of the EWR, the track seemed quite narrow, enormous long straights and a bit bumpy. On to the racing and very much a gate and go meeting. We were dire out of the gate ,but after a few watering sessions of the by now very dusty track, our boys at last found their gating boots. Congrats to the Bandits another few heats and we might have had a better result but still a respectable final score line for us on our travels. Well done to Lambo on a superb laying down to avoid a major collision with Kevin Doolan. Despite injuring his hand in doing so, he was also so quick to jump up and see how Kevin was and helping him back to his feet- nice to see some rider camaraderie. Sincerely hope Bandits survive good luck for the future. ps why is the F***in A1 between Newcastle and Wetherby always subject to night closures and diversions- 4 hours to get home and not sparing the horses!2 points

Poole were here a few weeks ago with a side no one thought had any chance getting even slightly close, and they won. You never know.2 points

As said before no way will he ride tonight and ruin his chances in GP challenge on Saturday night.2 points

Well another £50 saved by not going. This is so sad because I looked forward to this and Lynn meeting at the beginning of the season especially as we had no home fixtures in August. I cannot justify going with the team we are putting out. Hope the Panthers still do well though.2 points

Hey Dickie, the centre green bloke is Rob Dyer, who previously did the June 12th meeting (remember?). He's VERY good. I hope we see him again. Enjoyable meeting. Thought Sheffield rode well and were unlucky to come away with no points.2 points

In fact this was later amended, by the interval they announced they only had "about 40" numbers left. Which is very good news.2 points
