Taken it well I see. I’d respectfully suggest your point about the Bears moving to put the rider next to them off is wrong and the sour taste in your mouth is actually sour grapes. Nothing at all under hand about Andersen not riding tonight (he had a decent meeting in Denmark tonight though if you are interested)5 points

He did a great job for Poole last night, his actions almost certainly cost KL a point. Thank you Craig...5 points

Why do people let a half head like Shovvy wind them up? I would suggest he was breast fed as a child and wishes he still was. Whatever it is there is surely something not quite right with him. I think we should all show a little compassion toward him.5 points

One of the start girls is quite busty, was putting me off don't know how the riders coped4 points

Jade needs to have a serious talk with the riders on the inside gate on the other three occasions - not following team orders and the masterplan !!! Think the Bears had some things go their way over the two legs - Proctor not matching Jensen's potential score - Ostergaard riding his 550 instead of the 350 - rr working in their favour in both legs and of course the major factor of duping Glasgow riders at the tapes this evening But you have to take your chances and following the defeat of Somerset this is another top side we have put out of the cup, really good to hear genuine Glasgow/speedway fans offer congratulations to the winners over two legs. Lets hope we can meet in the playoffs (preferably the final)!3 points

As i've said on here a few times, one of the best things about the new track is the fact that even if there isn't a pass in a race then at least its close racing. No pass in heat 14 but Perks hanging on from Heeps was vital. There were a few more like that as well as the stand out heats 3, 5 and 15. Hope they get those 3 uploaded on youtube asap!!3 points

Strange all this hole business. I stand on bend 3 and didnt notice anything out of the ordinary before the start. In view of recent criticism of the track, I was looking for anything untoward. The track had been well watered so maybe the hole was hidden under the damp top surface? Certainly not evident from the outside. The Lynn riders were on the 1st turn while I was looking. Ive seen the video posted by Cook. Its obvious they found it. Yet,strangely, not one rider bucked or got out of shape while riding across it. Many times throughout the meeting, riders were riding a very tight inside line, so would have been ridden right through where they found it. Ask Holder and MPT in their terrific battle. Onto the Cook incident. I look directly down the back straight in a straight line towards the pits. For my money, Cook seemed very intent on pushing Josh out, as you would expect. However, he just didnt leave him any room to stay up. I didnt notice anything that would suggest he was thrown of course. We will just have to wait and see if ReRun post the incident. We will have take Josh's word about the incident. We all see things differently.3 points

Because I should imagine one of the Lynn riders dug their heel in and dragged it back. Quite clear it had just been made. Not one single issue with the track last night. Flat out racing with plenty of passing. Seems to me there are people on here willing for the Poole track to be bad. Its not the case anymore. Sorry to disappoint! Five wins on the bounce. Confidence running high. Top of the league. On our way to retaining our title yet again. Happy days!3 points

Officials have been ignoring the holes in the Poole track for years. The Poole riders probably just accept it as something they have to put up with. SS is no doubt frantically trying to come up with something to discredit the clear video evidence after his insistence that the track was smooth.3 points

He’s only ever a passenger on a speedway bike anyway, so any hope of him riding with skill is non existent. As for his extreme rudeness towards the paying public and referee, he should be heavily fined and banned for at least 4 matches. I would also hope that his Team GB bosses throw him out of the SON competition..3 points

A Poole poster wanted Cook fined and reprimanded for bringing Josh down, yet Poole seem to put 14 riders safety at risk every week.3 points
-
So again you can see it from your vantage point.Unlike the riders who walk right over the top of it.Steve i know you are so biased but blimey even you can see that hole in the track from the pictures. As the saying goes "there are none so blind as those who will not see".You and Starman fall under that saying where Poole is concerned.3 points

At least Josh has admitted Cook hit bumps , ran into him and apologised What might be interesting is if Shovlar and his band of blue tinted gormless lemmings apologised for saying Cook was dirty I doubt it ..... clueless fools3 points

The meeting was closer than the points suggest, Vissing was mediocre, he needs to get out of this regular mid season dip, he was gifted points when Perks retired while on a 5-1 Brummies fought hard and shouldn't be downhearted. Shanes is one exciting rider to watch and Adam Ellis was very sharp out the gate. Wish the Brummies well and thanks for the lovely welcome received to the travelling Glasgow fans. It was a long journey home but worth it.3 points

Most congratulated the Bears don't know where you get that from. Money bags comment rears its head again , if being proactive in promoting the sport and doing there best to give the best facilities and team then i dont see what is wrong with that. Do you.2 points

I'm afraid he doesn't know how, what's the saying "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, rather than speak and remove all doubt"2 points

Absolutely they are. Poole have been almost completely dominant for the past 20 years. Anything to bash them even if the Lynn riders made the hole themselves, as witnesses]d by Skidder. Perhaps Matt should bill them for vandalism.2 points

Or maybe not. I can put up with Poole so much, but not that much. If your comment had come from a non-Poole supporter it would have carried more weight IMO.2 points

Did you listen to Joshs comments about the Poole track on the Belle Vue v Poole match on Monday?2 points

And if the base was suitably bound together no holes as such would appear! Why would a rider go out of their way to create a hole on a track they’re due to race on!!??? It’s clearly soft as s**t2 points

You’re so blinkered it’s laughable! If the images of these holes were at any other track in uk you and all the other blinkered Poole fans would be up in arms slating the track, saying it’s dangerous etc. Etc. Please understand I’m not in any way anti Poole, I for one think it’s great how passionate the fans of your club seem to be, without fans the sport wouldn’t exist! But....I as a speedway fan want to see the standards of track preparation in the uk raised across the board as it’s regularly sub par and dangerous for the riders who are putting their necks on line for our entertainment! Today’s bikes are highly volatile unpredictable machines that have to be ridden pretty much flat out with little room for error, to achieve close safe racing we need better prepared tracks, inconsistencies in the track ie bumps, holes etc launch these guys and often they momentarily become a passenger so when racing closely it can be hard to miss others - this leads to people not racing so closely being wary to make manoeuvres as they are cautious of the track - I’ll be the first to admit the track has been great for some meetings at Ipswich this season and for others it’s been very tricky for the riders, we need better standards and better consistency to improve the product and more importantly improve the safety for the riders. If you genuinely think soft patches on the inside of the track that can rut so easily and potholes such as those seen in the photos on the pre meeting track walk are acceptable and safe for guys to go racing on then don’t bother replying I have no interest in taking the conversation further it’s wasted breath. I’m glad to hear the meeting was good entertainment throughout and glad no one was too badly injured! Just wondering what it’s going to take before uk speedway get serious about improving the track prep standards. p.s. Before someone pipes up “if it’s that bad why do they ride the tracks” well if they refuse to race on an unfit track if the ref says shut up and get on with it they’re instantly put between a rock and a hard place - ride on a dangerous track or refuse to ride and be slapped with a 28 day ban for withholding their services and therefore can’t earn anything from their chosen profession for a month!2 points

These pictures are clearly doctored as Shovlar the fisherman said the track was lovely and smooth with no bumps or issues And everyone in the stadium (he’s their spokesman now) saw that Cook intentionally took out scrabble2 points

He has removed it. But I need to be clear with the usual Poole lot here, there WAS a huge hole on bend 3. Why cant people just accept it?2 points
-
Glad to hear the track was improved again. You will always get some people hoping its bad which is strange. 2 good meetings at Swindon and Poole on the same night. Who would have thought that a few weeks ago after the debacle of bank holiday Monday at both tracks.2 points
-
Steve. Josh Grazjonek has said himself that it wasnt intentional. What is wrong with you? I've also just looked at Craig's Instagram and there was a HUGE hole into turn 3, so dont try and convince us all that the track is now all rosy because it's far from it. When josh said craig hit the bumps he wasnt lying.2 points

Don’t know how long exactly you been going to speedway but I am now into my 41st year of spectating and I can remember the hard riders of the 70’s and 80’s and I can assure you if the red mist descended like you say it did no way would any of them riders have apologised to their victim .. So why can’t you accept josh G’s take on it and admit your wrong for once2 points

At least the Newcastle promotion are going to give him a chance to ride and settle in . I was gutted for him when he spun at Eastbourne a cruel blow when on for a 5-1. Not bad when he was the highest scoring individual at the Julie Lewis Memorial meeting beating other well known riders on 11 points. Changing sprockets and altering the bike last weekend made his bike go better at Brough last Sunday later on.2 points

Greaves is not missing any Redcar meeting. He intends to drive from the Glasgow fixture to Luton Airport and fly to Gdansk. Ride in Saturday's meeting , on borrowed machinery from ex Bear R.Konopka, then fly back Sunday morning to ride at Sheffield. All at his own expense. Now that is commitment for you .2 points
