Why do you lot engage with Shït Shovlar. He spouts crap just to wind you up.8 points

Speedway is a mess..... Sensational speedway at belle vue, sounds like great racing at Peterborough, decent crowds. Should all be about that. Instead it's all about 2 dodgy tracks served up again. Sums up British speedway. This is why riders dont want to ride here4 points

of course he will defend it as Poole are winning When Swindon spanked them in the supporters cup he moaned about the dust.....but yet riders hitting potholes is fine..the man talks crap4 points
-
On look the bs that comes out of that idiots mouth....Poole lose the supporters trophy match its the track being dusty.....an even worse one and it's Swindon mistakes.....pure comedy4 points

Not good enough that two meetings between two of the biggest clubs in the UK both have issues with the track surfaces and riders end up injured. The sport does itself no favours at all but some blinkered folk can’t see this and only care about winning or losing. Thank Christ speedway fans from other countries weren’t able to see these meetings today on the internet as we can their meetings. Holes in the tracks, delays, one team in team kevs and the other not.....talk about amateur hour.3 points

One Rasmus Jensen there's only one Rasmus Jensen3 points

That's the sad part. The momentum generated after two cracking meetings can't immediately be built on. Special mention to Andersen again. He's still a great watch and technician at the EoES when he's on it. I just wished that he hadn't seen that Sayfutdinov video. Very scary coming off turn 4 on several occasions; thought that he'd be coming up to our section of the stand3 points

If he can't wear a Panthers one at least a neutral one, it looked bizarre almost as if the track was being doctored for Kings Lynn, credit where due though it was a brilliant racing track tonight.3 points

What a very bad day for British speedway. I’m able to admit when my club has got the track wrong & today appears to be that day.3 points

I think only MPT, Riss and Lambert could justifiably complain about being replaced, the other four have not been good enough often enough. Think we’ll see a couple of changes but three or even four wouldn’t be unwelcome for many people.3 points

I am embarrassed with the state of poole speedway the track is a disgrace waiting for an accident to happen .we have seen better days . got dusty in the middle of the meeting don't see how the meeting could have been any quicker with all the reruns .still onward and upwards3 points

Stirring it up as usual. The Penhill Troll in full flow with his usual bull sh*t. You're getting really boring & about as interesting as the racing at the Dorset Dustbowl. Like the track you are a disgrace!3 points

Some interesting comments here. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/speedway/17666988.poole-pirates-record-12-point-win-but-dangerous-track-is-swindon-robins-biggest-concern-in-bank-holiday-opener/ Also, Batch’s take. Troy Batchelor on track conditions: “It’s bullsh*t. I’ve spoken out before about it before, and everyone jumps on the internet and tells me I’m a little b*tch. You get in trouble for being honest, so you may as well go along with it. It’s f*cked up.” #Speedway.3 points

You do have to laugh at Steve Shovlar The Poole track is a disgrace and the prat lords it up as some sort of great result for Poole How long did that meeting take to run? Crash after crash and riders coasting round staying in position........ Obviously Shovlar doesnt care as Poole won and in his world thats all that matters The sport that fans love is dying and Poole speedway are playing a huge part in that Apparantly it was a good meeting as one of the best riders in the world passed a journeyman so that makes it good racing The BSPA need to sort out Poole speedway......fine or even a points deduction..make them sort the track out Poole and a couple of their fans are an absolute disgrace3 points
-
These are not amateur riders crashing here. When it’s happened in almost every heat you need to question why. Also, just because it’s the same for both sides doesn’t make it right & is no excuse whatsoever.3 points

I know it's turned out a poor weekend so it's kinda worked out ?. But with Rob talking about bringing Jedd List back end of June and there being "few meetings" inbetween. Plus the start stop of the past month ?. How's this supposed to keep up momentum and interest in the Speedway season ? Remembering back to my time at Halifax and The Shay fixture card was jam packed with meetings ! We used to stage 30+ meetings per season with crowds regular up around 3-4 thousand on a Saturday. People fill the gap when there's no Speedway and it becomes habit to kick the habit ?3 points

No. That must be due to him being inexperienced, nothing to do with the track.... surely not I wonder if Matt has flown in, like he said he would for home meetings.. Needs money spending on it, not a skim over with this stuff..3 points

Why people listen to Shovlar is beyond me BS after BS Pooles track is dangerous3 points

Just make Speedway one big league divide it north and south get rid of averages and have graded riders end of the year top 2 from each divide face each other and you’ve got yourself 2 semis and a final3 points

Very very talented but His name has obviously opened a few doors or does every track let teenagers onto the track who wish to learn and become a photographer. The photographers at Edinburgh and Glasgow and other tracks have served our sport well for years for NO financial gain and they have won awards in the past. This scenario should have never made its way onto a public forum. Father Lanning has used his profile to put his side of this sorry tale over and decent guys throughout the UK have not the same platform to respond. Sort it out behind closed doors.3 points

As a Wolves fan I think this meeting should have been cancelled because Aston Villa were on the TV today.2 points

Won't matter to some tho as Poole got 5 points. Everyone else is the real world knows it was a sh1te day for speedway.2 points
-
Tedious. If you can't read and understand then there isn't much point in anyone posting is there. Times hit 60 seconds today with a track record a couple of weeks ago of 57.4. I would ask if you can come to any conclusion about that but can't be bothered so will just leave you to ponder in case something clicks2 points

Rosco lost for words over state of track. More blading. Tractor done more laps than the bikes.2 points

Good meeting again tonight with some excellent racing. Lynn obviously missed Riss as his heats only secured 3 points. The Panthers were solid with special mention to Bradley who was on fire. MPT put in a good shift for the Stars but we were never in trouble really and won comfortably.Pity we now have to wait for a month before our next home meeting.2 points
-
Do you think in future meetings, if a Buster wants to do circuits around our track in his tractor he could atleast change his Kingslynn jacket for a Panthers one please.2 points
-
I say wait for Erik, replace Ty.. TJ is awful away so far this season. Lewis has been poor home and away also.2 points

I really hope we get some positive news tomorrow and Cook does sign for the Stars. Our team has proved to be very poor this season. Happy to see Andersen and Proctor replaced. Jorgensen also needs to up his game.2 points
-
Not really!! Track just needs to be prepared properly. We could do with a rich sponsor who could just invest into the track seeing as Matt won't. Not that I blame him, prob needs money for his other future business ventures.2 points

This guy is so refreshingly to the point and honest and not for the first time; and gets a point over in a non confrontational way. Well done Eastbourne Speedway even if you don't agree with the decision, so much better to have the logic and explanation behind it.2 points

Maybe I will go back to something my mate called them who doesn't watch speedway much and laughed when he saw them on the box. The Poole Lost Property Pirates. Bit less offensive than the pikeys!2 points
-
I don't know what the track was like so can't comment,, as I wasn't there,, but I don't understand why some get so wound up when they were not,, and their team wasn't any of the two involved,,, why let it bother you.2 points

I think you’ll find Dave Robinson & Rosco don’t like each other so I wouldn’t suggest we will be favoured at all.2 points
-
The Green Sheets are rolling averages, but a snapshot as at the 23rd of each month. The meeting-by-meeting averages on the BSPA website are an indication of current form only.2 points

Swindon fans eh? I recall it was you saying that about today’s chances - are you a Swindon fan now?2 points

Adam Ellis has now commented. Used to look forward to going to Poole - two emoji’s used - poop & hole...2 points

Just got back. First of all the ref had a mare. Dave Robinson was in absolutely no rush to speed the meeting along. There was no reason whatsoever for the meeting to take the length of time it did. Unnecessary gaps between heats when he could have put on the 2 mins. As for heat 13, the guy is a disgrace! Both Swindon riders, Batchelor in particular had a massive roller. Everyone in the grandstand was agog when the ref let it go. I thought the tapes hit Batchelor helmet as he rolled under them. He was certainly told by many fans in no uncertain terms. A ridiculous call to not bring it back. And a major howler from Rosco in heat 10. Perks came out to tapes, only to be called back to the pits by Rosco. The 2 mins ran out. Then a delay as Perks came back out on track. He wasn’t happy he had to go from 15 metres! Why didn’t Rosco Use Batchelor as an injury replacement for Musielak? To be honest there was only ever going to be one team in it after Musielak fell. Again their reserves were p poor, though Ellis Perks was trying and in the mix. Good to see Worrall riding as he should be. Best performance of the year. Keep it up Richie! All the boys gave. It a go. Lawson guesting scored ok but nowhere near Kurtz would have got. Track was much better than when the two teams previously met in the cup. Though due to the length of the meeting it got dusty in the last 3 heats. Seemed the Swindon riders struggled today where the Poole boys didn’t. Seems to have been a frenzy on here during the meeting but in truth it was a reasonably entertaining meeting for one taking place at lunchtime. Not as bad as some are making out who we’re nowhere near Wimborne Road. So a suprise 3 points in the bag. More than I expected to be honest. Doubt we will get anything out of tonight but I shall go along to cheer on the depleted Pirates!2 points

What's the point of risking him on that track when we cant get a point?2 points
-
It is about time that the SCB did some proper track inspections and made sure that the bad tracks are improved. We are dealing with the lives of a families main bread winner. If the Poole (or any other) track is as bad as has been suggested it is not fair to have such dangerous tracks being used.2 points
-
So the track is perfectly acceptable & the best in the league?! I have no issues with Poole winning but when the track is full of holes then something should be done about this.2 points
-
If it's on let's hope we give the pikeys a battering after this morning.2 points
-
There is no point getting it abandoned until after a result can be declared. We don't want to have to go back to that dump twice more this season.2 points
-
I was tempted to do the supporters club coach today but had a feeling this would happen so I'm glad I saved my cash and my time. Seeing idiots like Shovlar defending it is embarrassing. Got all the evidence you need in one video on here.2 points

Its not quite as clear cut as that. According to Belle Vue CEO Adrian Smith, in the school holidays the Aces get bigger gates on a Monday than on a Friday. Its noticeable that even though they can now ride on Fridays, Somerset have stuck to Wednesday. I think the problem is more that teams cannot now ride on certain nights whereas before they could simply take their pick (up to a point). Sheffield and Redcar, for instance, have changed and that can do damage to attendances because people have planned their weeks in advance. Changing means there could be a clash with something else. The problem was created by the unlimited use of riders doubling up and the need for a ridiculous number of guests and rider replacement facilities. Do away with or restrict that and there is a better chance of getting the right night for paying customers.2 points

Yes I remember attending Oxford on the Friday, Swindon or Coventry on Saturday and Mondays a visit to Reading (Bank Holidays Home & Away)...great days!2 points

Yeah he was at another Redcar meeting with Dave Payne as well. It's no secret that the way speedway had been run in recent seasons compounded by how Workington were treated last season had never seen him so disillusioned with the sport . The magnificent treble was just reward for an unsung hero who gave up so much of his own time for his love of the Comets.2 points
