An excellent meeting last night ,some fantastic racing from both sides on a well prepared track just shows what entertainment most riders can produce when given a track to race on, well done to both teams3 points

Speedway in this country must stop being dictated to by Poland. If it is to survive, the best race nights for family's are Friday and Saturday with Sunday early starts. My team Belle Vue have never had Monday as a regular race night in all the years i have followed them.Just tell all riders to decide were they want to ride Poland or Britain so we can still have speedway there will be a watered down league standard because riders will have to be moved up into higher leagues to fill any gaps. But i would rather have that situation than no speedway.Three clubs have gone from last year how many more from this year,we cant let the current situation carry on or soon there wont be any clubs left.2 points

A look back at London Speedway and Cycle Speedway Of the 1960’s. Some very familiar faces and I don’t suppose ‘young Norman’ is a regular here, is he?2 points

Not one which wants to spend £100,000000 over 50 yrs on a stadium no one wants except the council leader and reds shareholder, and ex town chairman as his deputy !2 points

Crazy and most annoying thing is they are planning to rip up the track, spend god knows how much for Workington Red's Football who I think have been relegated to a "Sunday League" who will probably scrape in around 100 crowd (and that's optimistic) . Complete Joke2 points

I can't remember where, but I remember reading that the Poles always criticise Maciej for being too soft, and he'll never get any better for it... Have they not seen this race? Great race, hard riding, but still room and respect between both riders, and a nice little hand shake at the end... This is what speedway is about...1 point

Is British Speedway holding it self to ransom paying for star riders? With tracks having to charge unrealistic admission prices to fewer supporters could it be that this model is accelerating the decline? Would it not be better to invest in the future encouraging British riders for British tracks. It's like buying a Ferrari but not having the funds to run it1 point

One question I have to ask after reading Dave Peet's comments on the Scorpions site “Leicester haven’t been in our league for a while, so some of the lads had not ridden it before, and we spent most of the meeting trying to get dialled in, while the track was a bit grippy early on. “In the end, it became a stepping stone for our league meeting here later in the season. Next year we come back, we’ll be dialled in.” Which guys haven't seen the track before? Auty and Garrity rode for them. Allen rode in top flight last year so will have been to Leicester. Coventry rode their NL fixtures there so Bailey and Kinsley will have rode for Mildenhall and List rode in the ben fund a couple of weeks back. Got to wonder if he does actually have a clue1 point

A really good meeting . Some good team riding & passing in most races. Seems Stewart has managed to get some consistency in the surface, I fear for Scunthorpe on the road they have a very long tail end. Only downside from tonight is i didn’t have the courage to ask the attractive young female Scunthorpe fan in the Grey hat on bend 1 for her number :-(1 point

With most polish youngsters it's open the throttle and hope for the best.1 point

No idea why certain riders price themselves out of a ride unless they don’t really want to be here in the first place. Lets face it Woryna was average at best last season..... was bigged up as the next big Pole.... Poole soon dropped him out of this seasons plans1 point

The ruling is Polish U21`s and some of the better ones who last season were riding for nice Polska teams have joined Extraleague- however none can match the Leszno pair of Smektals and Kubera.1 point

I thought we were going to have matching team suits this year as we usually have but there was no evidence of that in the team photo or at P&P on Tuesday. Hope we have them tonight or it will be a backward step in my view.1 point

Fair play to Paco - I was quite blunt about his inclusion. Two good wins in the first meeting is already more than I expected he would get in the first month He is a great character and if he continues to add a few decent point hauls to that would certainly justify his place I wouldnt be unhappy to be proved wrong!1 point

The Lynn side that finished 6 points clear in the league, after being bottom in 2018 wasn't very very poor was it?1 point

Martin Piddock and Peter Bradshaw . Two massive talents taken from us in the Lokkoren disaster. How Bob Kilby never made a World Final I shall never know. Not sure if John Boulger made one but he should have done. Ivor Brown was a hard man who was possibly on the cusp of big things before he was seriously injured. By and large though, I think under the old style single WF most who should have made it got there at least once as opposed the the GP system where for some it depends on whether your face fits.1 point

Comfortable win for Falubaz, like him or loathe him Nicki Pedersen still has what it takes to cut it at the top level, poor from Torun with the Holder brothers virtually anonymous.1 point

i agree it seems to be the case that greatly reduced admissions or free entry for all hasnt resulted in increased attendances at future meetings, however i disagree regarding deals or free admissions for children, that policy must help so many families and surely is one of the ways to actually "build long term attendance" Of course if its too expensive for the whole family to attend mum decides that none of them are going! now that does affect the "financial bottom line"1 point

Interesting that alot on this forum myself included point to Poland as the way forward. So when we have a owner who starts to give his clubs a professional image like the Poles do he gets slated. I'm not Chapman biggest fan however I can only admire how his teams are kitted out. Louis has always had his teams well kitted out and the Ipswich website and interaction on social media over the past few years has been great. Up the witches right now the sport seems professional well in Ipswich at least.1 point

Amazing how Plechanov mastered Wembley very quickly when other eastern bloc riders couldnt. Boris Samaodov was another who did well, but not to Igors level, A mention must go to Sverre Harfeldt - a nearly champion, but not quiet. He would have been popular. And I have sympathies for Dave Jessup, again, so nearly but too many opportunities missed.1 point

What I find hilarious is that if any of the experts on the BSF had the balls to get out on a speedway track and race, you tell me that they wouldn't be looking to get the most out of the track in order to get a good start??? "Oh no, I'll just sit here doing nothing, and just hope everyone else misses the gate! I don't want to p*ss off anybody on the BSF..." Steve1 point

You complained about THIS race, which started bang on time. Gardening is utterly irrelevant as long as riders are ready to go at the conclusion of the two minutes. They could just sit in the pits instead. That would be exciting.1 point
