That Lambert, he's ****ing brilliant I've said it 100 times but if anyone is making a stand and staying away they are missing out big time watching the talent of Robert, he is so pliable, so safe, brave, determined, I love watching him, they'll regret it if he does actually leave, it's 100% cutting off ya nose to spite your face And then chuck in the rest of the team this season, racing as good as they can (or at least getting to where they want to be), fit, determined, up to you but Dale has built a good team and team spirit, up to you but I'm loving it5 points

Spot on. .. And some will say "we have had guests for donkeys years"... And indeed we have, however... The days of turning up at a track, without any prior knowledge, and being peed off to find out PC wasn't there and that another teams' best rider replaced him have long, long gone... Sweden and Poland run fixed nights and don't use guests.... Their Championships therefore have credibility... We run the same system and still have guests... Meaning our Championships don't have credibilty.. It's interesting we didn't use one fixed night like Sweden. So as, I presume, to facilitate the use of guests... And then our version of 'two fixed nights' is actually three, and that all fixtures are arranged, it would appear, to again, facilitate guest replacements, unlike Poland, who with their three nights still don't use guests.. What you got away with in years gone by, doesn't mean in this age of 'instant news' you can still get away with it today... When we found out PC wasn't there after we had paid our hard earned to get in, we often moaned to each other, but it was to the 10 or so people around you.... Nowadays you know BV are missing riders days in advance and instead of moaning to ten people, literally thousands on various forums get to read it... And then make their decision to attend the fixture... With many, 100% understandably, deciding against it.. If you don't run any Sport with credibility and integrity, you simply cannot complain when you struggle to generate decent crowds every week. And when you add on that winning that Sports Championship's mean very little (by the very way they are won), and you have real problems I would suggest..4 points

Belle Vue did average 1500 last year but significantly below it this year with Monday night racing. However, I wouldn't have expected a good crowd last night when your top 3 are missing and you're using 3 guests. Many fans will no longer support select teams.3 points

He's not had a good one for a while now, so he needs to unleash a good one soon if it's to be a successful season ...3 points

11 + 1 (from 5) from Alfie for Cradley last night.3 points

Awfully small crowd at the Abbey this evening. With 2 home meetings next week and the price of £17, people will pick their meetings. ITS A £10 SPORT!!!!3 points

It is also said that Jack is the main reason why team spirit was so bad last season. So I can see why Matt wasn't rushing to have him back!2 points

Too many speedway fans get accused of being negative, when they are only stating the facts.2 points

Ford will wait for Holder, then we will see water turned into wine, healing of lepers, walking on water. We had all those expectations at Lynn last season with him. Look how that turned out.2 points

Absolutely, he has certainly stepped up a level this year and to be scoring the points he is now in several different countries at twenty years old is excellent progress. Some people thought he should have a Michael Lee type impact at 16-18 but riders progress at different rates, doesn't make them better or worse. His fitness regime seems to be bearing fruit and this could be said for the whole team, these marginal gains including fitness, team building and the warm up/down cycles seem to squeezing a few extra % out several riders and are being reflected in results so far.2 points

Really? Thought Kurtz covered what Cook would have scored easily to be honest. Josh is off form so a strange booking but he got two race wins which was more than expected to be honest. Unfortunate with Garrity but would never give him a guest booking after last years diabolical effort at Somerset for Poole.2 points

it was a good meeting with passing and plenty of effort by all but 1 brough park is a technical track and its about attitude of mind any decent away rider will always score if he attacks the track those that arrive believing they cant ride the track .... don't ...... but perhaps they should watch how their teammates ride rather than just trundling around the track2 points

Interesting article in the Bournemouth Echo. Sundstrom out for Gavin. Gavin in for Kurtz. Middlo has decided to take the rest of the 2018 season off and will be replaced by Gavin. Holder is having visa issues and so Worrall is to be replaced by Gavin. Grajczonek has finally been replaced by Gavin (long overdue imo) and Szczepaniak has been replaced with Gavin. Woryna's recent performances were too good for Gavin and so he has been replaced by Gavin. The only rider to remain is Nielsen, whose new team manager Gavin claims is "our greatest asset". Gavin has also announced that he intends to replace Gavin, Gavin, Gavin, Gavin, Gavin and Gavin with some poorly scoring English riders as this is "the right thing to do" and "is the right thing for Britain". He is also petitioning a complete ban on any black riders, or riders who have an accent unlike his own, joining the British league. Gavin was quoted as saying "Nick Morris, Nick Morris, Nick Morris".2 points

Actually mate I think there are a lot of people that are loving speedway at lynn at the moment. I talk to a few people on the stands. There are very few negative oppinions. Problem is people on forums like a moan. The only problem the other night was the excessive grading but you definitely can't moan about racing or the team! I hope other fans don't think lynn is a bad place to be because of the comments of a few depressants. Many of whom don't even go often or if at all. Your oppinion is only worth 1. Much like mine and the other people who go. The only difference is you guys use the forum daily or hourly even. It taints the club and the sport in general! That's just 1 oppinion though. My 1, your 1 would disagree and I guess it's a free world. But I hope people who read know you are in the minority.2 points

This is just typical of the complete twisting of quite a reasonable comment by people determined to defend the indefensible It was ranting roy who said there would be 'new faces' and since then we heard bugger all from the club again Did I say I wanted daily updates ??? Did I imply that ???? But you think its acceptable to say nowt .......... and that we should just accept it .............. frankly that's bollocks and its that type of attitude that is killing the sport ............ (David Howes analysis was spot on) All the club had to do was given an update - even if it was to say that we were are persuing opportunities but have been unable to agree terms (or whatever maybe the truth) .............. I personally do not think that is too much to ask ............ Im not demanding details ........ merely an update Anyway on a positive side ....... it was brilliant to see wethers score some points and look so determined ........... and overall great effort by the rest of the lads ................ for Berwick summers was superb as per at brough, howe and doolan tried. however they were always going to struggle with jay having a night to forget and danny just deciding he couldn't ride the track (pathetic really ... at least jay and Nathan gave it go - and look at Simon Lambert ... he wouldn't put Brough in his top 100 tracks but he tried his hardest)2 points

If both Holder's ride for Poole not sure Chris can keep Jack in check! As for Kyle Newman i know he has had injuries and i do like him but i don't think he will ever be a 6-7point rider in the premiership.1 point

Maybe you need to try and understand the reasons why? you are more and likely not interested in them but surely you see he was trying last night and as a supporter in my eyes that is all you can ask.As a example at Swindon there has been some moans and groans about Bellego at times this year and look at him last night he was on fire.In speedway now there are fine lines between doing well and just falling short.1 point

We at Belle Vue realise fully that MPT is a really good rider and were surprised that BV didn't step in for him before Lynn, given his proven ability at the NSS. Our loss is certainly Lynn's gain1 point

Garrity is apparently waiting for an operation, so would imagine he's very doubtful for Friday. Hopefully Scunthorpe will move Auty to 5 and split up the Auty/Allen partnership.1 point

Chris Harris you had to feel for him last night the effort was there but he looked so slow.He must of made changes and give Musielak one hell of a scrap he tried everything then later on in the meeting he has two falls in one race. The first was bunching on the first bend then he was involved in a horrific crash with Nick Morris/Scott all got up god knows how.? The rerun then begun and Chris is first at the starting gate amazing last night showed why i am such an admirer of Bomber takes his knocks comes back for more for me a real racer i hope he gets his machine issues sorted out soon.1 point

I am really pleased for the Stars fans and a play/off position is a real possiblity now all to play for.I thought this side would struggle but they have been superb and it has to be good for the league as a whole.Swindon(my side) Wolves,BelleVue,Poole all have frailaties so it could go down to the wire who claims a top 4 spot.1 point

What makes this result surprising, was it was achieved with Rory having a bad night. A big done for keeping it so close.... Nobody likes to see a one-sided meeting.1 point
-
Sometimes meetings do work out as one imagines. Result in doubt until the end always makes it more interesting. Obviously pleased we took advantage of this ridiculous fixture planning, nobody has mentioned the crowd numbers yet , so don't know how it was perceived against that of the normal. Guests may have been somewhat weaker, but some of Belle Vue's own riders didn't perform has they could have, so it would be wrong to proportion all the blame on the guests... Never more than 6 points apart the end was always going to be close. From the contacts, the Updates; and tweets, we Stars fans should be very happy. We performed well as a team, we provided 7 race winners away from home, We only had 6 last places, and secure 4 of 5-1 race wins. All relevant facts that indicate our inner team strength. Niels, slowly but surely , is getting back to his old form, MPT is a far better rider than most people recognise, Proctor is proving he was never a gamble, Kerr has to be one best reserves ever , and Robert has at last come of age... No, we may not have won against a full BV side, but for sure we would have gave them something to think about..... That heat 13 last night was massive. to gain a 5-1 in that race after they had clawed back level , all but sealed their fate.,,1 point

That's the thing, no idea on your age or when you started going to Speedway but my opinion is nowhere near the minority. King's Lynn were pulling in around 3000 not all that many years ago. Now the club is lucky to make half that a week. Before I was even going the older folk would tell us all about packed out stadiums week in week out. I can guarantee there are more ex Speedway fans than attending. That tells a whole different story to the few hanging in there at meetings. The main reason for people every year walking away is 'Value For Money'. Once people do walk away it's rare they'll ever return. This is something promoters never seem to grasp. As much as some say that I'm no longer welcome, that's fine but as we're all walking away less than half will be new fans of Speedway.1 point

Does not the 4H & 4A now only relate to riders that did not have a 2017 average, as the BSPA are using the rolling averages for GSA's.1 point

We only want to race on our chosen race night like, er Wolves. Poole also have their chosen race night and KL did Wednesday before while Swindon have the majority of their meetings when they want them. As soon as we want the same it’s us being awkward. LOL.1 point
