  1. Looking at previous visits to Ipswich this season, it was an expected easy win for the Witches - which they deserved as they were the best team over the 2 legs - even with Emil being below par. I like both Dan and Brady but you could see they weren’t interested last night (which I understand), but if I was a BV fan I would have been very annoyed that they didn’t give 100% to at least try and get my team to the finals. The wet surface didn’t help but it was the same for everyone. You could say it was very poor scheduling to have this leg a few days before the biggest meeting for both Brady and Dan - surely it would have been better to have the first leg of the other semi last night and then we would have seen the best of Brady and Dan - as we usually do! TV schedules and SGPs are obviously more important than the dwindling fan base in the UK and that is why British Speedway is going through a slow, lingering death.
  2. Not a great advert for speedway. It was very one-sided given that neither team made the play-offs. The track seemed very dusty and it was all about the gating - although there was some limited passing. It was easy to see why KL beat OXF in all of their league meetings this year. Much the same as OXF have done to BIR.
  3. If he is fit and riding in Poland - there will be no facility at all.
  4. Very sad news - RIP Mike. Sincere condolences to his family and friends.
  5. Good luck to the promoters tonight and tomorrow. I hope it is the success that everyone is hoping it will be. The stadium is no Principality stadium but if the racing is as good as the British Final - final race then that is what people remember and hopefully want to attend in the future. Most importantly, I hope the weather plays ball since they can't rely on the roof they had in Cardiff.
  6. I think this will be a good meeting but the overall team strength of Ipswich will be too much for a recently revamped Sheffield side. 42-48 is my prediction.
  7. When you see a wide shot of the grandstand it’s not a good advert for this event. Crowd looks lower than a normal league meeting.
  8. That would make sense but speedway in the UK always tries to accommodate the weakest rather than encourage teams to aspire to the strongest one. Several years ago, it was Ipswich who were the weakest and impacting other successful teams. Its all swings and roundabouts.
  9. Bit of a memory issue? Both Adam and Jason have been part of title winning teams with Swindon!
  10. I think you are trying to split hairs there. The fence is the perimeter of the track and it caused an accident on the track. If the fence wasn't there - you think the track would be safe then?
  11. Although not a Sheffield rider, I would say that Sayfutdinov would disagree with you!
  12. Looks like the site's certificate has expired hence the connection not private warnings.
  13. Cropping won't do much - you need to save it at a lower resolution (quality).
