Of course I know that but sometimes you can replace a rider with one that might improve to get his average close to what the outgoing rider averaged ….. can’t see that at all with Kildemand
And as mentioned a team that struggles away
Replacing Lidsey with Kildemand shows that the team is much weaker this season
Absolute guaranteed entertainment but nothing to address the fact the team can’t ride away from home and ultimately that will be their downfall
Yep thanks for that would love a heat leader at Ipswich whose average has gone DOWN each season at Foxhall when in reality it should be going the other way
Luke Becker by those stats clearly rides Foxhall much better than Lidsey though every Ipswich fan knows that … and has got better there year on year
Musielek on his first visit to Foxhall last season scored poorly with bike troubles …. On his second visit got 7 from 5 riding at number 1….. a score Lidsey matched once in 4 visits last season riding at the easier number 3 berth ….
So yes thanks for posting cold hard stats without any bias that clearly shows that Lidsey would be a bang average signing at best
Lidsey would be an awful signing the guy can’t ride our place why would you sign a rider hoping he can improve at your track when clearly he can’t do that
He would have the odd good race when he pops out the start because the guy can’t pass wind
How average over 7.5 is inflated because he goes well at the NSS
Must be better options out there surely
If he signs for us I would give him 100% support but I think it would be an awful signing
Belle Vue definitely kept the best team rider in Bewley over Kurtz
Kurtz may well be chasing individual glory again and like last season let his club side down which is understandable
If I was a Belle Vue fan I wouldn’t want a number one who at the business end of the season doesn’t try
All of those can ride Foxhall apart from Lidsey so I would not want him on his high average when he can’t ride the home track
in the right team and the right set up I’d take any of the others
Rumours that Jenkins is Lynn bound
Thats a daft statement to make he was a deserving world champion he scored the most points over the series
You can take away some of Rickardssons titles then when he would have gate 1 followed by gate 1 and then gate one and then first pick
You are entitled to your opinion and I’m entitled to disagree
Nothing against Joe he was supreme to watch and I would cheer for him every race at those early 1990’s British , commonwealth and overseas finals an awesome rider
The record books will show he wasn’t quite at Lorams level and it could be argued he should have achieved more
We was at Odsal in 1992 and how victory against a world class field in the riders championship was amazing to see
No you are wrong … Mark rode for Hackney in the top league in 1987
Hackney dropped down in 1988 and Mark dropped down with them
In 1989 the Hackney promotion moved to Ipswich and Mark Chris and Moggo went as well
Mark then moved to Kings Lynn in 1990 as a reserve … we went to his first meeting at home to Reading where Mark top scored with 19 I believe from 7 rides …. The only Reading rider to beat him was their new number 7…. Todd Wiltshire
Mark Loram rode in the top league in 1987 averaging over 5 as a 16 year old
Mark then dropped down for 2 seasons before becoming Kings Lynn number 1 in 1990 averaging almost 8
Screen started in 1989 at 17 and for 2 seasons averaged mid 6
Screen was excellent motorcyclist but was never really as good as Loram
