Hammarby intends to do R/R for Dennis however a Swedish U21 is mandatory

and that rider needs to ride in three heats. So R/R is not an option.

According to rule 5.8.5 A team that don't have an available U21 rider. Can still include him in the lineup BUT

his will be removed from the lineup at the team manager/referee meeting before the meeting and nr2 place will be

empty and his heat cannot be taken by any other rider.

The team will also be penalized according to rule 5.2.1 for not fielding a complete team.

The current penalty is 10'000kr fine.

And now Gollob seems to be injured (?) so perhaps R/R for him and Hyll in for Dennis then.

"And now Gollob seems to be injured (?)"

It was a nasty tumble and both he and Jepsen Jensen were very lucky but both shaken up. It was heat 15 of the Torun meeting. When Racers and Royals puts up the replay link watch it(and cringe) and see why he needs some time off.

Best wishes. Alan.

Added lineups for Allsvenskan's semi-finals.

Looks like a very tough meeting between Smederna and Masarna.

Rospiggarna shouldn't have much problem with Griparna.

What is your feeling about one or both teams accepting a place ( and the added costs!!!!!) of elevation to Elitserien?

Regards. Alan.

Well since Smederna have lost almost half of their attendance since last season...

I think that we would have problem getting a good team and would the spectators come in the necessary numbers?

Obviously it depends on if/what new rules are created for either or both of the series.

Great news whether you love him or loathe him.......Tomasz Gollob has said he IS riding tomorrow despite being in pain as it's such an important match for the team.

Many reports are still insisting that rider replacement will be used for Dennis Andersson. Hammarby seem to be unaware of the rule that Ghostwalker quotes and we have to hope we don't get a situation where the match goes ahead and then get a post-meeting protest with a change of result.

I'll put a racecard online within the next half hour. However it's likely to be a case of watch the space for amended cards.

Just noticed that the two legs of the final are staged on consecutive days. With September not being the driest month of the year am i right in thinking that if the first leg is rained off the second leg becomes the first?. Has this happened in the past in the event that the final was staged on consecutive days or a day inbetween?

(ouch back with the bold font again grrrRRRR lol)

Ok 3am here and i'm off to bed. Just had a quick search and the latest news i could find is still the excerpt from the official Indianerna site below which was published Monday afternoon.

'Andersson will therefore not start, and Hammarby would therefore run rider replacement for him. Andersson will present there not start, and Hammarby would there present run rider replacement for him. The question is whether it is okay under these Regulations to run R / R for the Swedish under-21 drivers, who according to the rule has three protected heats where he can not be replaced by any other driver.'

Since it's a little unclear which team Hammarby going to start with tomorrow night, it is also extremely difficult to tilt the match starting. But we assume that Gollob going to start and that Hammarby may run R / R Andersson Indians will undoubtedly have a very hard nut to crack.

I'll be re-checking for the latest team news around midday tomorrow. Ideally, Ghostwalker will have updated us all before then in the morning :)

I shall delay sending out the racecard until tomorrow lunchtime when hopefully the confirmed lineup will be known.

well tomorrow by lunchtime would be a little late wouldn't it? ;)

Well the latest news is that they will replace Brzowozski with injured Alex Edberg.

Since Alex have a lower floating average then Dennis, Dennis is no longer the mandatory U21 rider

and they can then use R/R for him. The same Alex Edberg who broke his leg 5 weeks ago and needs

another 3-4 months of rehabilitation.

Hammarby's team manager says "its five weeks since he (Alex) broke his ligament so it should be fine.

However i think that Alex still has his leg in a Orthopedic cast

Hammarby's chairmen of the board Tommy Cederlund does not share Fröjd's enthusiasm.

http://na.se/sporten...-bajens-losning

Honestly enough with the clown act from Fröjd, its about time he is removed from Swedish speedway and

if he continues to try and pull this off, he should have his license revoked.

Ok mvt.se are also going down the Alexander Edberg road. So i've left Dennis Andersson as R/R and replaced Kamil Brzozowski with the 'PARALYMPIC' Edberg. Not my description but one Tommy Cederlund.

I take it he has some sort of 'History' then :)

He has.

Hammarby is his 5th team as team manager and his past teams gave the following history

Dackarna- still running good

Masarna - Bankkrupt

Kaparna - Bankrupt

Lejonen - demoted ro Div1 for severe financial problems.

it "could" just be a coincident though...

i also just updated the race card for Hammarby - Indianerna as well as added the link to

the race card for the other quarter final. You also have a blank race card if you want to fill it in yourselves.

Have in mind that its not certain the referee will approve Hammarby's lineup so there might still be changes.

Have in mind that Alex broke his leg 5 weeks ago and normally it takes 6 weeks for a broken bone to heal,

so the track medical staff+referee have the right to refuse Alex to participate in the meeting.

I meant to ask you about that very thing. Surely one has to be medically fit to ride in order not to be a danger to oneself or other riders.

Maybe they expect him to be refused permission to ride and run races with only three riders, but in doing so possibly avoid sanctions for not fielding/bringing a full team etc? As they innocently cry, 'you sure Guv? you sure he can't ride with a plaster cast and a pair of crutches bolted on to his bike'

I am not sure what will happen if Alex is considered not fit to ride. I would guess that the Hammarby's revised lineup

will be rejected meaning no Alex in for Kamil and no R/R for Dennis. But i am far from sure.
