RPNY
Apparently in the Speedway Star, Leigh Adams concedes this season “could well be my final year” in their post-meeting Bydgoszcz coverage.. Be a shame if that was the truth..
sward
I'd be surprised. On his website it says 'We will be posting up fantastic 2008 sponsorship deals soon'. I'm assuming that isn't just for league racing......
spiderweb
No way will it be Leighs last year. Myself and BFD will have a word with him at the Aust Titles LOL. This season should have done him the world of good and its still not over yet! Edited September 12, 2007 by spiderweb
Seb the Snail
Apparently in the Speedway Star, Leigh Adams concedes this season “could well be my final year” in their post-meeting Bydgoszcz coverage.. Be a shame if that was the truth.. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Final year in the GP presumably? A real shame if it's true, but at least he'll bow out on the rostrum. I'd have thought that he was good for at least 1 more season - after all, he's currently riding better than ever.
Hackett
Could be the final year in the SGP ..... In the Star months ago in an interview he said that would be the first part of speedway he would drop. Would be a shame as Nikki Pedersen apart he has been good this season. RPNY
Must be a little soul destroying that he's riding that good & still it's not good enough to win the world title.. I hope he continues, I think the guy is a class act.
Hazzman
Or maybe he's heard plans for the Super GP set-up next year under IMG? Disagreeing on the schedule and such.

Disagreeing on the schedule and such. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> At most the Super GP will only be 12 SGP's over the season. Although unless they get shed load of sponsors may be better off riding in Sweden, Poland etc .... May all change if he wins the £100k German Bonus
T.N.T.
Cant see why Leigh will finish 2nd in the World with a few GP wins under his belt would call it a day. Think there are a few years left in him yet.

He's like a Bottle of Grange Hermitage, just keeps improving with age. ( I know the feeling of course!) Can one of youse mob strangle the forkwit that keeps calling it Mildoora? Go LEIGH!! Subedei
I just don't see why Adams would resign from the GPs after his most successful season in the circus - he's going to finish second and if he retires he may always be left wondering if he couldn't have gone one better the following season. If he'd had his usual GP season, I'd have thought he might've called it a day.
sEdgY2
Leigh will have one last crack at the title and then another in the leagues It was going 2 be his last year but because he has gone so good this year he will ride next year And u may not see him at the aussie titles this year! Maybe in the crowd! No way will it be Leighs last year. Myself and BFD will have a word with him at the Aust Titles LOL. KrisB
Could well be Leigh's last year according to Leigh himself live from the Slov GP.
Sandie
Could well be Leigh's last year according to Leigh himself live from the Slov GP. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> He looked really down tonight and obviously thinking of his family and how they get affected by the whole lifestyle
SCB
From what we've seen of him this year, we need him back, he would be a loss. Something I'd have not said last year as he was quite anonymous most of the time.
Trees
He looked really down tonight and obviously thinking of his family and how they get affected by the whole lifestyle And especially now that the GP series is just like another league keeping the riders away from their families (if they have one) for another 3 days every fortnight! London Witch
Have to agree with Shawn. Leigh still has much to give and much to gain. Would be a shame not to see him in the number 2 race jacket next season.
Bobbin' Along
I can't see him not riding next year. He's said before that he thought he had two good seasons left in him (2007 and 2008). My own opinion is that his accident and injury scared him a bit - if I remember rightly he's never had such a bad injury before.
