Isnt it top 8 average teams in league or is this wrong?. Just from a sheffield view ive been looking at the current averages and they come short of top 8 unless im mistaken, cheers. Matousek
Well Birmingham, workington, kings lynn, edinburgh, bears, glasgow (dependant on injuries), somerset, and rye, if it goes on averages. Sheffield look out if this is the format as there even nearly 2 points below stoke!
Brummie Kev
Well they are leaving it very late , its just typical of the BSPA. Hopefully the brummies can do well in this aswell, I predicted us to win this before the season started. Workington and Kings Lynn will be the teams to beat I reckon. gailo
A bit disappointed that Birmingham are not going to be at Workington, was really looking forward to seeing Tomasz Piszcz again.

Im gutted aswell, it must be because our combined averages of our top 4 arnt good enough. Lyons has dropped his average a bit so perhaps thats the case, rules are rules at the end of the day. Like all of our away meetings we would bring alot of fans with us but that wont be the case this year which is a shame. Its just so frustrating as we didnt qualify last year aswell hopefully third time lucky next year (if we are still around).  Good luck to all the teams. Matousek
Bit surprised at brum not getting there as there averages combined top 4 were 28.64, but knew sheffield wouldnt with a combined top 4 of 25.

Whats Hauzingers average , it says on the BSPA website its 6.59 and in the brummies programmes aswell. The rules in this sport are a joke. Nik B1200
Need a decent track before this meeting will be any good, if we get as much tractor racing as we have had lately it will be a two day job.

The rules in this sport are a joke.  As Joe Haines is still declared his average must be used, taking us above you, well thats the only reason I can see, good to see Lukey getting a run out in a "prestige" meeting, don't think he's had one before, not even a CLRC when he was there. I seem to remember Luke being involved. Edited July 7, 2009 by Shadders
