Exotic news part 2 :)

In 6th and 7th of September there were in Braila Seniors and Juniors Champs of Romania. There were four seniors meetings (two on Saturday, and two on Sunday) and three junior (two on Saturday and one on Sunday). There were riders from two romanian clubs: CSM Braila and CSTA Gica Voiculescu Bukaresti.

Individual Junior Champion for season 2008 is very talented Adrian Gheorge, son of Marian Gheorge. Adrian won all three tournaments.

Results:

1. Adrian Gheorge (CSTA) 18 (6,6,6)

2. Daniel Marin (CSTA) 8 (3,3,2)

3. Florin Barabasu (CSM) 7 (2,3,2)

4. Alin Cioclei (CSTA) 2 (1,1,0)

5. Marin Olaru (CSM) 0 (0,0,0)

6. Valentin Popa (CSM) 0 (0,0,0)

In brackets there are results of three rounds.

The individiual romanian champion became the only bulgarian speedway rider - Milan Manev. The third was Adrian Gheorge. It's surprised that the second was Fanica Popa and only 4th Alexandru Toma. They both are known in Europe riders - they are starting in MACEC Cup and European Champs. The 5th was Marian Gheorge who is former rider of Eldarna Huddinge. In his carier he was starting in swedish Division 1 and Allsvenskan League!

Seniors results:

1. Milan Manev (Bulgaria - CSM) 31 (6,9,9,7)

2. Fanica Popa (CSM) 29 (7,8,8,6)

3. Adrian Gheorge (CSTA) 22 (5,7,4,6)

4. Alexandru Toma (CSM) 21 (6,0,7,8)

5. Marian Gheorge (CSTA) 18 (6,5,2,5)

6. Marian Cojocaru (CSTA) 16 (2,5,6,3)

7. Mihai Dejmar (CSTA) 11 (5,3,2,1)

8. Stefan Popa (CSM) 8 (2,2,2,2)

9. Florin Barabasu (CSM) 4 (1,2,0,1)

In brackets there are results of each rounds. Some photos of these tournaments you can find here.

Next meetings in Romania: 20th of September there will be in Braila 2d round of MACEC Cup and Memorial of Gheorge Voiculescu and Eugene Botezatu.

It's very hard to find results of Memorial Botezatu and Voiculscu. The top 3 is:

1. Alexandru Toma

2. Tomasz Łukaszewicz

3. Kirił Cukanow

As I know there were starting top 8 riders of Brailan MACEC Cup (but not Machnik, because Romanian count something wrong), and there were semi-finals and final, but I'm not sure.
