Traditionally, lower-league competition -- which was close to amateur in some cases (Linlithgow, Buxton, etc) -- saw the teams travelling together, often in just a couple of vans. Not so expensive, and great for team bonding, too. -

Anyone remember Wolverhampton speedway ? Feels like it’s disappeared off the face of the planet, no updates from the promotion,total official silence, the odd snippit from woffinden and adams but that’s 5years + away if it ever got off the ground, I think it’s safe to say it’s never coming back unless a new ambitious promoter can be found who really wants it and that isn’t the current promotion,feel like another Cradley situation is happening -
