How would that work then? We have to have riders of Premiership heat leader quality. Very difficult and expensive to draft in riders who are unattached. -

I agree that would be better. Maybe the agreement should have been to sign unattached riders, if Poole didn't agree, race without them? Although part of me feels in a league where plentiful guests are used what harm is a couple more? -
Bang on. Its probably the worst idea I have seen in British speedway since that ridiculous British League cup from years ago which only lasted a season. Make more sense if Poole could bolster team with an unattached rider or two . As it stands though, ridiculous. And promoters wonder why fans get fed up and laugh at the sport.

Very good rider on his day, didn't he win the top flight with Peterborough whilst riding at number 1? I remember seeing him at Newport when he first came over with Scunny and he looked the business then, I remember saying he'd be better than Jorgensen who I think came over the same season. Could of gone a lot further if not for injuries. Would still do a job for any side if he stayed fit.

If the riders are Poole assets then I see no problem even if they ride for other premiership teams personally
